Under siege

A deadly silence was the only thing that was left in the palace after Celestia and Eden had spoken. All the succubi were frozen in place and looked at their Queen in terror. Most of them wanted so bad to just flee from the scene but nobody dared to move. The Queen stood in her place, without moving as if he was a statue, but those who knew her were well aware that she was furious.

"Is that so?" Sitri asked coldly and then she begun to walk towards Celestia. Both Kivani and Felure immediately moved back an away from what they thought would soon be a blast area, but there was no such explosion. Sitri was truly furious now and simply destroying this upity angels was not going to be enough.

Sitri reached for Celestia's leash and pulled it, forcing the valkyre to get on her knees and then cupped her chin to make Celestia look up into her eyes. "There is only one sin that has brought more angels down than lust...pride..." Sitri lectured as she caressed Celestia's face gently.

"You really think, you and your sisters can defeat an elder demon?" Sitri asked as she looked down at Celestia with an almost tender motherly expression on her face. "How about...I give you a chance to destroy me?"

Claudette's head turned upward as she heard Sitri's proposal. Would the dark queen really give them a fair chance to bring her down? That would be preposterous! Everything she knew of Sitri was deception, corruption, and domination, the dark queen liked it no other way! There had to be something up with this...

Celestia scoffed as she looked up at Sitri from her knees, "Very brave, your highness, when the three of us have been weakened." Even the evil queen's gentle touch was a pleasant alternative to the soreness Cel was feeling. "However... if that chance was sincere, and not some trick, I promise you that it would be the biggest mistake of your eternal life. You would fall and your house would collapse with you." Celestia gave a soft exhale, the tug of her leash allowed her a better look as what little bit of magic energy that kept trying to replenish itself was drained from her body and travelled from her collar through the leash and into Sitri's hand, empowering her with Celestia's essence, keeping the Valkyrie leader completely drained of all magic power. What she wouldn't give to switch places with the elder demon and be on the other side of this leash.

Three valkyres armed were dangerous, but Queen Sitri plotting whatever she was plotting was infinitely much more dangerous.

Sitri rubbed her face, cheek to cheek with Celestia and purred softly. "Take your time to recover... And when you feel ready to strike me down...come at me with all the fury of Heave.." she whispered into Celestia's ear in the same way a lover will confess her love to her soulmate.

Then Sitri stood up and step back to give Celestia and the other Valkyres time to recover. Celestia eyed Sitri who seemed to be watching her in hunger, "We will need to use tact against her. Blindly rushing in will just leave us open to her powers. Eden, I want you to keep at range, keep us healed as you can, while Claudette and I attempt to overwhelm her through tandem attack."
"Yes, sister!" Eden nodded. Her specialty was healing magic and she was ready to contribute in anyway that she could.
"If it looks like we're starting to gain an upperhand and we aren't taking much damage, join in and try to bind the queen in any way you can. Whatever you do, try not to let her near you and don't look directly at her. Locking eyes with the queen might leave you vulnerable to hypnotic suggestion."
Claudette and Eden nodded.

They took a few more minutes with magical aid and were finally at full strength it seemed. Even their armor was fully repaired thanks to Claudette's unparalleled smithing magic.
