SS: Akashi vs Angel, Title Match

That's why I'm coming forward?" She said as she stepped back out of the water. She took a large step to try and close the distance and swung her hand out to try and nail Angel with another sumo hand slap.

Angel didn't reply this time, instead focusing completely on Akashi as she neared. As the slap thrust out towards her, she dodged neatly to the side of it, trying to close in on Akashi herself, and throw a pair of quick jabs at her gut. Angel wasn't much of a striker usually, but in this case, she didn't have much of a choice, and she hoped she would catch the sumo off-guard enough by the change of tactics to do some damage.

Akashi cursed as her strike was dodged again. Angel was still quick. Akashi would have to do more damage if she could trap her again. She was surprised when she saw the strike coming and it slammed into her gut. She grunted as the jabs hit her but She was almost thankful for Angel's tactic. If there was one thing Akashi could do was take a punch, especially in her stomach. Her sumo training had given her a nice layer of fat that covered a practical concrete wall of abs. Still. The punches hurt and Akashi's momentum was halted as she winced from the jabs and hunched over slightly.


But she still wanted to maintain something so she tried to reach out and grab Angel's wrists and at least keep her close while she attempted to recover and transition, hopefully, into an attack.

Angel scowled as Akashi snatched her wrists, keeping her in close. She couldn't attack like this...at least, not with her hands.

With a look of desperation on her face, she reeled her head back, suddenly launching it straight forward into Akashi's face, trying to land a sudden headbutt right into her!

Akashi yelped as the headbutt slammed into her. She let go of Angel and stumbled back, clutching her head with one hand. She growled at Angel. "Dammit! That's MY move!" She said. That was it. Akashi was determined to show Angel what a real headbutt was like. But first she needed to be able to shake off the pain and keep Angel from building up momentum.

Akashi's move or not, Angel was determined to build up her momentum back and capitalize on the cheap shot.

As the champion stumbled away from her, Angel would come in again on her, trying to wrap her arms around her waist and tackle her back to the damp sand where the tide was coming in, hoping to ground the sumo once more.

Akashi let out an 'ugh!' as she was tackled and pushed to the ground, her shoulders pressing into the mucky sand as the water washed over her and cooled her partly in the hot sun. As she fell, she spread her legs and tried to also wrap her arms around Angel to try and stifle what the girl attempted until she could recover.

Angel growled at Akashi as she felt the champion's arms wrap around her. She squirmed in her hold, keeping her arms around her even as she tried to wiggle free, her nearly naked body rubbing against Akashi's, pressing down on her.

Once she realized she was stuck, she would sigh lightly, then reel her head back again. Closing her eyes tight, she braced herself for an impact as she fired her head down again, trying to nail Akashi with a second headbutt. She knew it was going to hurt, but she absolutely had to get Akashi to release her.

Akashi saw Angel go up for the headbutt and closed her eyes as well. She wasn't going to let this girl win like this! Akashi's headbutt had defeated her toughest opponents! She'd taken brass knuckles and lead pipes and kept on going! Though she wasn't in a good position to swing her head but she yelled and drove her head upwards to try and increase the impact. Like two rams fighting for control, she tried to keep her head pressed against Angel's for as long as she could. Either way, she'd partially black out a few seconds after the headbutt connected. Her grip would loosen on Angel, her hands only loosely resting on the side of the girl. Her head fell back and she began to pant as she tried to blink away the stars.

Angel, as well, would be knocked out of it from the headbutt, her vision blurring as her skull connected with Akashi's. She definately wasn't expecting that, not at all.

Her grip as well would loosen from Akashi, and with a groan she would start to slip off her, coming to rest on her side beside the sumo. She breathed heavy, her body shimmering in the sun from the layer of sweat covering her skin, trying to weakly shake her own head and snap back out of her daze.

After a moment of this, she would start to rise, trying to get back up on her feet before Akashi could.
