The gate open and Fidi slid out of it. She looked around, flicking her tongue out as she glanced around. Her tail slid along damp grass. Behind, to her south, was a forest, thin with trees that looked more alive than dead. in front of her was a muddy strip of land that formed a beach to a swampy, fetid lake. Dead trees, buried in the north eastern part of the lake was part of the forest, that seemed to stretch out for miles all around them. there the trees were gnarled and protruding only a few dozen feet out of the ground. The north and north western part of the lake was occupied by a several story stone temple that had stairs climbing out of the water up to about two stories high where there was a huge stone entrance way that lead into the temple. No doubt the temple was even larger under the swamp but it was impossible if it sat on the swamp floor or was even buried under the muck of the stagnant water. The water itself looked murky, almost black int he center. leaves and branches floated on the top, themselves not moving from their station. If the arena was mostly filled with water, than odds are her opponent was as skilled in underwater combat like she was. Fidi saw the second gate open and immediately slid into the water. She looked around and then reached down and grabbed a bit of mud. Diving into the water, Selene missed her target as she quickly shot back up to the surface to see just where did that worthless Noscale went to. Her predator eyes caught a brief moment of Fidi's tail diving towards the massive collection of trees in the far off distance. "Get back here thissssss insssssstant, you coward!" Selene roared as she dove in after Fidi, chasing her down into dark murky depths of the swamp. Being an underwater predator, Selene could see perfectly underwater...on normal conditions as the murky water hampered her sight, however she did see the end of Fidi's tail as she relentless pursued it towards the roots of the massive trees.

Fidi turned her head as she flicked her tail back and forth to try and escape the warrior's grasp. "I'm not a coward!" She said back as her twin tails whipped against her body in the water. It would slow her down a bit but she tried flicking up a dust cloud of muck from the bottom of the swamp to try and waylay Selene.

Chasing down her escaping opponent, Selene's powerful tail enable her to catch up with Fidi as she managed to get a hold on the Noscale's tail. Utilizing her brute strength that would have most likely have been able to reel in Fidi, however Fidi drug the rest of her tail into the mud that cause a sort of smoke screen or in this case, a mud screen. There was a slight stinging sensation in Selene's eyes that caused her to release Fidi's tail as she closed her eyes, swatting her arms around to dissipate the mud faster, which allowed Fidi the time to escape with a good distance and a chance to hide within the roots.
