Mai Nagasawa vs. Seraphim Harmonia (Complete)

Mai was in a different state of mind now. She didn't think she could one shot this girl, even with her hard kicks. That she knew just from what she had done before. But she was hoping she could remove some of the sting from the other girl buy breaking her down. In a contest of attrition, she didn't have the advantage but she thought her speed and quickness would allow her to strike fast, hard and often enough to try and break Seraphim down and at least take the edge off the blows that Mai did receive. Mai was about to pull her foot back and step away to regroup when she saw Seraphim's fist flying out towards her.

Her eyes widened before it connected but in her position, she could do nothing to fight against it and her abs were blasted by the punch. "OOFF!-haaaaangh!" She gasped as she stumbled backwards on her heels, bending over and clenching her gut as she held her stomach in pain, panting as she tried to keep from falling to her knees. She felt like she might just throw up but she swallowed hard. Still, her defenses were almost non existent at the moment except for the fact that she had the presence of mind to keep backpedaling away from Seraphim.

Seraphimâ€s fist hit its mark clean, hard, and fast, her punches feeling like metal pistons, showing no resistance or holding back even though she respected her opponent. She watched for the moment as Mai backed away, seeing her nearly double over in pain, but just barely able to keep on her feet and stand. Her defenses were down, Seraphim had the perfect chance to strike her while she was open. Her right hand raised up high, and then-

“Ffffffuck that hurts!” Her right hand immediately went to favoring her left arm, right around the spot Mai kicked, as Seraphim was unable to ignore her pain with it any longer. The girl had a resistance to pain like no other. She was able to shake off the headache from Cirno and Mai, she could keep the pain in her own gut shrugged off, and even her knee she did pretty well at tolerating, trying not to move as much. But after letting Maiâ€s kick to her arm settle in for a few seconds, she couldnâ€t ignore it any longer, as the crimson-eyed woman was clutching her own arm, biting her lower lip as she felt a trickle of sweat down her face. It gave Mai a few seconds to recover too, fans seeing both girls now clutching a wounded area, both having received a blow from their opponents most powerful blow. Seraphim thought she was lucky, she managed to get away with the arm, not the gut. But she had a good feeling that her left arm was going to have a lot of trouble throwing punches now. Clever fox she was- er… cat!

After Mai ahd a good ten seconds to herself, Seraphim had composed herself, but was still clutching her arm. That was when she decided to use something else. Whether Mai had recovered or not, Seraphim suddenly started to charge at her, the pain in her arm making her tolerate the knee more, moving at nearly full speed still. As she ran to Mai, closing the gap quick, she was still clutching her arm though, but hunched her body lower, as if in a tackling stance. And then, with the charging force like a defensive-lineman, Seraphim shoulder-charged Mai, aiming to hit the girl again, her tackle meant to hit right around where she hit Mai just a moment ago, either in the gut, or perhaps higher into her chest or even breasts. Wherever she hit, Seraphim was just trying to knock her down all the same.

Mai continued to step backwards until she felt her back press up against the ropes. She gasped and looked up, seeing Seraphim still cradling her arm. She let a sigh escape her lips and straightened her self up. Despite the pain, she had to keep focusing, Surely Seraphim would begin her assault again. Cradling her stomach, she took on look backwards before steeling her gaze at Seraphim. Sweat dripped down the side of her face in anticipation as Seraphim charged. She wasn't sure if she could take another hit like that and even attacking Seraphim had proven risky. Her heart raced as she awaited the charge, her butt rubbing against the ropes a she bounced on her heerls in a very minute fashion.

As the charge came, Mai did the best thing she thought she could do. She pushed to the sides to try and fall against the mat on her butt, hopefully out of the way of the bull-like Seraphim. But she'd also use her hand to try and pull down the ropes. The ground below was a much more effective weapon than Mai could ever manage and she hoped that at least she could take advantage of something like this. Plus it afforded her a few more seconds to try and catch her breath, even if her shapely ass did bump against the mat kind of hard.

Seraphim wasnâ€t used to fighting an opponent who really thought outside the box. Or in this case.. someone who could get her outside the ring. Most of the time, her foes tried to go against her in a brutal fashion, Seraphimâ€s own power just too much for them to handle. Or, they tried to flank her and use speed, and in those cases, she still wore them down, her endurance nearly inhuman. But Mai was really giving Seraphim some new things to go up against, proving to be a cunning opponent, one who had no real weakness, or anything Seraphim could exploit. In fact, it seemed Mai was doing the exploiting, as she managed to dodge at the last moment. Seraphim didnâ€t exactly see exactly where she was going, quite literally charging like a raging ox ready to ram. Normally, she was a bit more of an intelligent fighter herself, but perhaps her abrasive, uncaring attitude lately had chiseled her ability as a fighter as well. And that was when it happened.

“Sh-Shit!” Running to the ropes, feet stomping hard with her charge, Seraphimâ€s shoulder didnâ€t hit Mai at all, as the girl ducked down, away, and pulled the ropes down with her. Seraphim would have loved fighting this girl more in the ring, but it seemed that wasnâ€t going to happen now, as Seraphim charged right to the edge, her legs hitting the ropes at full speed, causing her to trip up, forward, and out of the ring. “Yaaagh!” For a rough and tomboyish girl, Seraphim let out a higher pitched, girlish scream for the moment, surprising fans too, as she went hurtling out, soaring pretty far ahead through the air, like a jet that shot out of the ring. She would then come crashing down, past the hard flooring, and instead to the fence that held back the crowd. A few people yelled and ran back, afraid Seraphim might land against them. The girl fell just short though, landing hard against the gate, taking it down with a loud smash.

“Nngh… *cough* Ugh… d-damnit…” The girl was on her back now after the crash, the metal fencing completely smashed in the area Seraphim landed, as she was lying down on it. Fans stayed back, no one daring to touch the woman, fearing her violent reputation if they tried anything. But the girl on her back now, a few feet from outside of the ring was in a complete daze. Her back killing her, and her shirt torn up, Seraphim was a pale beauty on the ground, coller ripped and a few buttons popped, as it showed off the edge of her black sports bra, nestling her B-cup breasts. Weakly she favored her back, groaning in a dull pain, unable to get up just yet as one hand favored her arm, the other reaching for her back, as her legs lied spread. She wasnâ€t bleeding, but a blow like that could have severely injured her. …Then again, this was the Godhand, and ex-leader of White Gale. Surely this wouldnâ€t be enough to take her down, right?

Mai watched as Seraphim crashed to the ground. She winced at the yelp, her heart skipping a beat. She was by no means a ruthless person, heck, it would be hard to think outside of seeing her in the ring that she coudl even hurt a fly but Seraphim had told her to give it her all and Mai knew that she just couldn't fight evenly with Seraphim the whole match and win. She'd get tired and she'd make a mistake that would cost her. She almost had a few times. But still, she grimaced as she stood back up. She leaned over the ropes.

Her ears straightened up as she leaned over the side of the ropes. "G-gomen, Seraphim-san!" She called out, lifting her hand to her mouth. "Are you alright?!" There was real concern in her voice as she looked on nervously, hoping she hadn't badly injured Seraphim. Her fox tail nervously swished around behind her as she kept her fingers near her lips in anticipation.

Damnit… damnit-damnit-damnit! This one she was going to be feeling for awhile. This was beyond what Seraphim was normally used to for a match. Not that she couldnâ€t take it! The girl had been through ruthless beatings in prison, and grew up on the streets, there was hardly any kind of pain she hadnâ€t faced before, Hell she lost her eye from a bullet for Gods sake. Still… she had to say, flying out of the ring and crashing into the fencing certainly was a new thing to add to her list.

With a dull groan, Seraphim rolled over slowly, getting to her hands, or rather a hand since her bruised left arm was favoring her back, and also to her knees, as she shook her head a bit to try and remove the daze. ‘Câ€mon Sera, youâ€re better than this!†She gave a quick grunt of pain as she accidently put the weight in getting up onto her bruised knee, but slowly and surely, the Crimson Eye had risen to her feet, a little unstable, but still standing none the less. And then, she heard… concern?

Slowly, Seraphim lifted her head to look, the white hair in a frayed mess at this point, as her eye looked to the ring with a cringe of pain on her face. And thatâ€s when she saw Mai. The girl was still probably in pain some from the punch, but she was looking a Hell of a lot better than Seraphim at the moment, and yet even though she was her opponent, she was leaning over the ropes some, actually checking to see if she was okay and apologizing! ‘Heh… shit, ya know I wish there were more people like this kid. World would be a Hell of a lot better if ya ask me.†Despite the pain, Mai would see Seraphim give a small grin in the corner of her lips, a small trickle of blood from the corner of it since Seraphim had accidently bit the side of her mouth in the fall, but it was nothing serious. Instead, Seraphim tried to stabilize her footing, taking a long, slow breath, before managing a nod, tossing her white hair over her shoulder again.

“Heh, Iâ€m as good as gold, kid. Donâ€t you worry.” Okay, so maybe that wasnâ€t quite true, but Seraphim hated concerning other people about her. She appreciated it, but it felt… wrong in the match. She gave a small, pained laugh about it, before slowly, she started to walk around to the side of the ring, away from the side Mai was in. “Tell ya what, Iâ€ll make you a bet.” Seraphim started to say, deciding to make things interesting between them as she circled around to the other side of the ring before entering. “You wanted me to remember you, right? Maybe make a name for yourself?” She started to say, as Seraphim then pulled up at the lowest rope, slowly getting herself in. “Then two minutes…” As she entered, Seraphim held up her right hand, holding up two fingers as she continued. “Donâ€t lose in the next two minutes, and Iâ€ll remember you and even help you make a name for yourself. If you donâ€t… Iâ€ll forget you like yesterdayâ€s trash. But, thereâ€s only one condition-”

Then, Seraphim took hold of her wrists, slowly rolling up her sleeves. As she did, Mai would see something… strange. Around Seraphimâ€s wrists, there were two bracelets, they looked like simple, iron bracers of some sort, and Seraphim started to undo them, taking them both off. They didnâ€t look like much, but as Seraphim dropped them outside of the ring…

*THUD*

They must have weighed at least 20 lbs each! She was wearing them the whole match? …Of course, Seraphim always had. And now that she had took the weights off, a small, bloody smirk came to Seraphimâ€s face, as she kept her sleeves rolled up, and took on a more defensive boxing stance, still carrying her lower legs more like a Maui Thai stance.

“-The condition is that you fight me when Iâ€m at my best. You ready, kid?”

Mai carefully watched as Seraphim moaned against the ground. Her lips quivered as her breath was held. She was truly worried for her opponent. She wasn't a ruthless person but knew she had to do anything and everything to help maintain the advantage that she had some how gained during the course of them match. When she saw Seraphim regroup and pull herself up and grin at Mai, the neko girl heaved a sigh of relief. She then flashed her own grin and gave Seraphim a thumbs up. Her body tensed as she watched Seraphim get up and go to the opposite end of the ring. Really she should have taken advantage of the situation and prevented Seraphim from getting back in the ring but she knew it wasn't very sportsmanlike. Plus, Seraphim had given her a reprieve earlier and so Mai felt as though it was the right thing to do. really if the match continued, Mai should have the advantage or at least have taken away Seraphim's stamina and brought it down to her level.

She took a stance, bouncing up on her heels when she suddenly saw Seraphim stop Her ears had been twitching as Seraphim proposed some sort of bet. Mai really didn't know what she could mean by it. Then she saw Seraphim pull off some weights and drop them to the ground. Her eyes widened as they clanked tot he floor. She felt the mat reverberate a bit even over by her. She swallowed hard, finally understanding what Seraphim meant. For a second there was a flash of fear in her eyes as she stepped back, feeling the rope against her once more. She turned back and allowed a soft gasp to escape her lips. Don't loose? Make a name for myself? I... I can't do that...

Mai's ears perked up and she suddenly put on a serious face, clenching her fists. "The fact that you're doing that means that you've finally decided to take ME seriously." She waved her hand in front of her. "I already have a name! It's Mai Nagasawa! The Mecha-Neko, the Otaku Queen! I don't intend to merely survive two minutes, I'm gonna win!" Mai's heart was pounding. She never felt so much adrenaline pump through her before. "Here I come!" She then dashed forward, focused on Seraphim. All it meant was the girl was a little faster and probabky could react better with her arms. At least one of them. But Mai was going to show her what she was made of. No tricks, now finesse, she ran as close as she could to Seraphim, going within the full extension of her legs to try and send a kick as hard as she could right at Seraphim's midsection, not at the girl but through her. "HYAAAAAH!" She yelled loudly putting all her energy into the kick.

This girl was such a fun opponent~ Seraphimâ€s heart was racing, she felt a stinging pain in many places along her body, she felt adrenaline starting to pump, her foe followed the rules and had was a respectful opponent, and most of all, she was someone Seraphim could truly get serious against! Her knee was still giving a dull throbbing, her back flared up with pain, her head was pulsing with an annoying headache, and her left upper arm burned with a deep stinging sensation. And yet, Seraphim was still smiling, wiping the blood from the corner of her lips again, as she kept her stance firm and ready, awaiting for whatever Mai would bring to her. She could see though that it intimidated the girl, just a little test Seraphim figured, it always let her get a feel for her opponents mettle to see how they reacted to that. And even though she could practically smell the fear from Mai, like a lion catching the scent of itâ€s pray, Mai didnâ€t back down. In fact, the girl suddenly got a serious outlook, and got ready, thatâ€s the spirit!

“Good! Then show me!” A big smirk came to Seraphimâ€s face as she heard Maiâ€s determination to win. Teeth bared in her grin, fists clenched and raised, knees bent and feet dug into the mat to brace herself, Seraphim was ready, and Mai was coming at her! The girl was fast as ever, and with a swift strike, Seraphim saw the girlâ€s leg come at her with a quick swipe, attempting to slam hard into her abdomen. As serious as the girl was, Seraphim was getting the hang of her opponent. With all of these kicks, Seraphim practically saw it coming, instincts and adrenaline kicking in as she felt like she was in a true battle now, enjoying every moment like a proud warrior.

Suddenly, Maiâ€s kick came to a halt. It struck something hard, but it didnâ€t go through or hit Seraphimâ€s midsection like she had planned. Instead, the girlâ€s ankle had slammed against Seraphimâ€s forearm, preventing the boot of her kick from striking itâ€s mark, instead nothing more than her ankle hitting Seraphim, preventing much damage at all. “Not good enough!” Seraphim said, her reflexes faster than before, like the girl had been born in the battlefield, and could see the girlâ€s move. She held back the pain it made her feel from when she moved her left arm to block it, the bruise up higher making it painful to even move that arm, but Seraphim was masochistic, biting back the feeling, as she went to counter. If Mai didnâ€t pull her leg back fast enough or get away, sheâ€d be on the receiving end of Seraphimâ€s swift elbow with her other arm. Swinging the blow down, she tried to hammer Maiâ€s leg she just blocked between her arm and elbow, striking with the downforce of a hammer, aiming to hit the girlâ€s ankle that she just blocked. The blow was precise, an accuracy that was difficult for Seraphim, so if Mai was quick enough to even back up a little, Seraphim would miss. But if not, the crushing force would surely do some damage to the girlâ€s leg.

Mai was certainly aware that her kick might not do as she intended. Seraphim was a tough girl and Mai's kick wasn't exactly sneaky. The kick was meant to be telegraphed but she still thought ahead if it didn't succeed in it goal. She was surprised though, at how easily her kick was deflected and turned her head slightly to the side to watch Seraphim's arm extend out. But Mia gritted her teeth. She was already falling on her butt, using gravity to pull herself away from Seraphim as she pulled her leg in.

As she landed, she would throw her other leg out, hoping to catch Seraphim with something. She'd try and mule kick Seraphim's knee again, wanting to make sure that she was hampering Seraphim as much as she could Of course if THIS didn't work, Mai might be in real danger as she would be on her back and probably more than a little vulnerable to Seraphim's attacks.

Damnit, not quick enough! Seraphim had managed to block the blow, her reactions quick and accurate in keeping herself defended. Years of instinct keeping the girl as sharp as a tac as she fought. Seraphim was amazing at defending and receiving strikes in any form against her, and since that was all Mai was really using, it was really going to be trouble for the neko-girl if she continued to play by that tactic. Seeing Mai fall back, hitting her rear into the mat to fall back from Seraphimâ€s knee strike, the white haired vixen had missed, only to get surprised by another blow from Mai.

“Aagh!” She gave a sharp yelp as Mai unleashed a powerful kick into her already bruised knee while she was on the ground, almost like a sort of donkey-kick that struck itâ€s target true. Maybe Seraphim was getting rusty, or maybe the excitement was making her loose focus, but she wasnâ€t able to tolerate the pain as well as she could, as immediately, Seraphimâ€s left leg that was struck crumbled beneath her, and she fell with that knee on the ground, the other leg bent. Damnit, this girlâ€s kicks were just too powerful to shake off! Sure, kicks were all she seemed to give, and Seraphim was able to predict her better, but the girl who was once a walking tank that could take any blow and still stand was really starting to feel her body wear out on her. She was know kneeling before the girl, seeing Mai on the ground before her, facing her legs. Now was her chance, she had to be quick! Before Mai could get up, Seraphim locked both her hands together, a hammer-fist ready. And without hesitation, she raised it up above her head, fingers interlocked and clenched tight. As her hands went high, giving a good view of her breasts that the collared shirt tightly pressed along, Seraphim would then ‘bring the hammer down†with both fists. Slamming her double-fisted blow down onto Maiâ€s right leg. Whether she hit the shin, the ankle, or the knee, she wasnâ€t aiming in particular. She was just trying to do the same to Maiâ€s legs that she just did to Seraphim. If this girl was going to throw kicks around, it was time to make that stop. So, with a heavy, rock-solid smash, Seraphim brought her fists down to really bring the hurt.
