It's been awhile... (Tammy and Sindel)

For a moment, as Sindelâ€s expression took on a more serious gaze, Tammy stood there with a small sense of worry. The girl didnâ€t step back, her hands just falling to her sides for a moment, as her own smile started to fade, having a feeling she knew what Sindel might have said. And than it was let out, the girl told her the truth, and Tammy felt her heart sink a bit. Sindel seemed like such a kind girl in the league. She had helped Tammy when no one else would, and their match had ended in such a perfect way, the girl even deciding to give Tammy the victory when they were both hardly able to move. And yet, that same girl was in one of the darker organizations, a wrestler who fought not for fun, fame, and fortune, but to destroy and harm people. She… didnâ€t want to believe it. Tammy even slowly took a step back, shaking her head slowly as one hand went to the side of her head, rubbing her temple slightly like it hurt. “I… should have figured this.” She said a bit flatly in tone, feeling like an idiot. She never checked other wrestlers profiles, and that went for Sindel too. She should have, the girl would have been able to handle this better. Maybe this was just a mistake.

But Sindel didnâ€t look away from her. She would see the nervous disappointment on Tammyâ€s face, the blunter persona she often took coming back to her as she let out a sigh. However, as she felt Sindelâ€s hand rest on her shoulder instead, Tammy looked back up at her, the expression a little blank on the girl now, before she heard what Sindel had to say. Backing her up? She appreciated the thought, it helped Tammy feel at least a little more trusting of Sindel still. But would she really want it from a darker organization? “N-No… not if itâ€s from anyone who exists only to harm.” Tammy said with a small frown, one hand still at the side of her head, looking down at the ground as she bit her lower lip again. “Sindel… I trust you. I really do… I like you. But Iâ€m here just to have a good fight, pay the bills, and ultimately go home after a good match. I donâ€t want to get involved with factions, brawls, and seeing people getting truly hurt. I know it happens… but to be with people who do it for sport…? Itâ€s just… I donâ€t want any connections with them at all.” Tammy didnâ€t know how else to say it. She still wanted to be Sindelâ€s friend, but she didnâ€t want to include any organization with it. As if… their friendship could be something outside of whatever faction she was with, heck even outside the AFW. She trusted Sindel, the girl truly did. But Tammy didnâ€t want to involve anything like that, the mere thought of those kinds of people made her angry.

Sindel knew that Tammy wouldn't look at her the same way when she said those words, her behavior and her reply confirmed it, still, it wasn't Sindel's intention to make her protected by the entire organization just.. Her. Still, she knew how Tammy was feeling, she had been there before so she accepted the reaction she got from it. " Understandable. Don't worry Tammy, we can still hang out from now on, right? I don't have things to do after my matches or even the days I don't have matches, I usually spend the days at home playing video games. " She was rather casual and modest when she said that, whenever she started with her videogames she wouldn't stop untill it was done.

She stepped closer to Tammy again, refusing to let her widen the distance between them, it seemed Tammy was still wanting her to be a friend, so Sindel might aswell try to be one.. It was odd but.. She really didn't have any friends.. There was Tracy, who she saw more as a little sister but then it was all done, no one else she really talked with.. There was Seraphim.. But that was too painful for her to remember, she focussed on Tammy instead. " So, what do you want to do? Got any more stuff you wanted to talk about? "

Tammy really didnâ€t want to ruin something so soon. This was a potential, she felt like there was finally someone she could trust. And the last thing she wanted to do was ruin it between them by having a faction get in the way. Sindel admitted it, but Tammy just… didnâ€t see the girl as the type. She couldnâ€t have been too deeply involved with a dark organization if she did the things she had for Tammy, right? Heck, she even was admitting now that she was more of a normal girl than Tammy first thought, even mentioning video games. This actually brought a smile back to Tammy, seeing the more human side to Sindel, who she was softening up around. Her expression lightning up again, Tammy took a small breath and her soft lips returned to a small smile, at ease again around Sindel. “I-I guess youâ€re right. Sorry. I.. donâ€t mean to judge or anything. It just… it doesnâ€t fit you at all, you know that?” Saying that as Sindel was closer, Tammy gave a light nudge into Sindel as she spoke, her own expression becoming more of a smirk than anything at the moment. “You know, ‘The Yunmeng†seems like a total softy for claiming to be in a dark faction.” Tammy said with a raised brow and a more joking tone at Sindel as she nudged her lightly in the side of the hip. Even when she was trying to be humorous, Tammyâ€s words still always seemed to have that faint, blunt tone. Cheerful, sad, pain, whatever the mood, there was always a hidden undertone of a lacking, blunt tone. But she was at least trying her best to be in a lighter mood around Sindel.

After all… she cared about this girl. She even started to head over to the ring more with Sindel at her side, not getting in yet, but closer to the canopy by now, as she leaned her back into it, the mat of the ring resting against her shoulders since Tammy was rather short, matting into her black raven like hair. “Iâ€m okay with starting in a bit though. Iâ€m just… I dunno, whatâ€s the term? Breaking the ice?” She rolled her golden eyes a little at that, even taking her headphones off by now, which Sindel could faintly hear the heavy metal music playing from still. “Though I didnâ€t know you were a gamer too. …I wouldnâ€t mind playing with you some time.” Not at all aware how that last part came out a little… awkward since it could be taken completely the wrong way, and the two certainly ‘played together†before, Tammy just let it out with a more casual tone, trying to put the previous mention of darker factions aside, and keeping things light around Sindel, really liking the idea of spending time outside the AFW with the girl now.

" Heh. " Was the first thing that came out of Sindel, the nudging didn't push Sindel away in any way, she was just gonna stay close to Tammy while she did lighten up again. " Yunmeng means alot of things.. Mostly it means White Fog but the translation is never a hundred percent accurate. " She followed Tammy to the ring and stood infront of her, she could hear the music, oddly enough it sounded good despite Sindel never being the type for such loud music but maybe she'd give it a try. " Well we have pretty much played before in the ring, heh.. " Sindel had accurately listened to Tammy and she had an actual dirty mind she usually kept hidden. " But sure.. You can spend the night if you want, could work if we play horror games, hehe.. "

Sindel already making plans to scary Tammy in those games and getting away with it. " But then if I scare her she'd lock me in holds and make me submit to her. " She thought out loudly, to be honest she'd like to have more fun in her life and it actually seemed Sindel was returning to her old, cheery self, though she was mostly grumpy back then, she never was dark in any way anymore, Seraphim managed to change most of it into a happier side. " Well, sounds like we got plenty of time on our hands whenever possible, hmm? "

It was only then that Tammy saw something. When Tammy walked closer to the ring, she watched Sindel do the same, and for a moment, she could have sworn she spotted something on the girlâ€s head. Something a little off anyway, but she couldnâ€t put her finger on it. Tammy had a phenomenal eye for detail, but visually, and when someone was lying, and she knew she saw something along the back of Sindelâ€s head. Were they old stitches…? It was only just barely noticeable from the angle she saw it at, but Tammy silently scrutinized it for a moment, as Sindel may have even noticed that Tammyâ€s yellow eyes narrowed a little, looking at the girl somewhat curiously. Of course, she had no idea that Sindel had managed to give herself a nasty wound there from Tracy, in fact the girl never even knew of Tracy or Seraphimâ€s existence. So she had to wonder what happened…

Though, that all was put aside as Tracy went to point out their last match, turning Tammyâ€s accidental words into what they really could have meant. “Er.. u-um… we… we did, d-didnâ€t we?” Suddenly, Tammyâ€s face went a bright red, her hands going closer to her face as she folded them in front of her chest, and her face looked down at her own two hands as her thumbs started to twiddle about eachother. She did still have that match from a few months ago in her head, and it left the girl suddenly in a stuttering, embarrassed mess as she thought about it. Eyes trailed down some, cheeks a tomato red, even puffing slightly, she blinked a lot, giving a very nervous laugh as Sindel could have sworn her cat ears she was wearing seemed to droop down a little, Tammy even rocking a little onto her heels at how nervous she was all of the sudden. She didnâ€t know what to say after that one, and it certainly put Tammyâ€s mind in the gutter even further when she took the whole ‘submit to her†a little differently now too. Steam would have been shooting out of Tammyâ€s ears if they could from how embarrassed she was just now, eventually settling to just turning around after she couldnâ€t stand it any more, not wanting to be seen in such an embarrassing state anymore. This was not like her! And yet Sindel was really pushing her buttons, as if her once nearly non-existent emotions were being played with, and the girl didnâ€t know how to handle it.

Sindel was wondering what Tammy was looking at, she looked over her shoulder but saw no one around, oblivious to the fact she was looking at her old wound, Sindel had completely forgotten about it. She never dared to admit how sensitive she was to strong attacks, which is why she had focussed on speed, countering, the way she attacked, so she could avoid damage done to herself. Though, she had forgotten about the match, the wound, pretty much Tracy aswell, she looked back at Tammy, it seemed the girl was once again withdrawn with emotions, finally Sindel couldn't help herself, bringing her hand to her lips and let out a soft giggle, taking another step back just because of it, then finally she managed to stop giggling like a schoolgirl, looking back at Tammy and simply shook her head, looking at the girl's back, sneaking up behind her, making sure she was silent enough before she'd bring her hand up and gently pat it upon the top of the girl's head, making sure to taunt her a little more while she smiled at her. " You should be relaxing, not that I'm biting you.. Yet. "

It seemed fun for Sindel to watch Tammy's reactions, to see those expressions of her and those ears that accompanied them, Tammy was really adorable in her own way,it was always fun to tease such girls, atleast for Sindel " So Tammy, what is it you had in mind, if you only wanted to talk to me, you would've asked me to come at a much more.. Decent place, hmm? " Sindel turned and took a seat on the side of the ring, looking down at Tammy while she kicked her feet back and forth. To be honest, she was anxious about everything now, aslong as she could tease Tammy, perhaps that was what she actually missed, some time off from everything going on the AFW and actually getting the chance to do something else other then injuring others, she couldn't help but wonder at those last thoughts, she knew Seraphim wouldn't have wanted her to turn out this way.. But times changed, sadly, perhaps one day would she see her again, and explain everything.. Till that day, she wanted to spend some time with Tammy, and forget about everything.

Memories of how their last match ended together was still fresh in Tammyâ€s mind. She even remembered the promise they made, the two actually wanting to have a personal, backstage match like this where they were in privacy. Originally, that wasnâ€t Tammyâ€s intentions, she really just wanted to get to know Sindel, and train with her. But as she thought more about their encounter awhile back, Tammy was left with a flustered expression still, her blushing face still turned away as her eyes were practically in a swirled daze at the thought. Sure, every now and then, Tammy may have done something a little perverted to another girl, but it was just to get leverage in a match. She never expected to hear another girl actually be okay with the idea, nevermind someone she was feeling this close to, someone she even kissed that one time at the end of their match…

“I-Iâ€m relaxed, r-really…” Tammy said very unconvincingly, still in a stuttering mess. Not only that, but as Sindel went and patted her on top of the head again, she would see from behind that Tammy once again moved her head into it, like a cat wanting to be pet and praised. She may have even purred if she wasnâ€t so embarrassed right now. But as Sindel broke away, and sat at the edge of the ring, swinging her legs with a happier tune in her voice, Tammy took a few breaths and turned around, trying to remain calm. Her expression was still red, and she even took a second to straiten out the taller cat ears, but she managed to conquer her perverted thoughts and put them aside. Pulling herself up into the ring, she used the bottom rope and then thrusted her feet in, sliding into the ring like a baseball player sliding at home plate. She forgot about her skirt though, but was thankful that Sindel was sitting on the edge of the ring, so her back was to her, so she didnâ€t see anything. The girl knelt behind Sindel then, and then, after Sindelâ€s question, the girl did something she was a little hesitant with performing, but still felt like if she could trust Sindel, then it was okay.

She hugged her. Sindel would feel Tammyâ€s thin arms wrap around her shoulders, and she gave Sindel a quick, gentle hug. She didnâ€t make it anything intimate, careful of her chest not touching Sindelâ€s, and where she hugged, just showing a sign of friendly affection to the girl, but not letting go as she spoke. “I told you, I wanted to bring you here to talk and spar. I just… before we did, I wanted to know you. And Iâ€m really glad I am.” Tammyâ€s usually blunt tone took a softer tone just a bit as she still was hugging Sindel lightly. She trusted the girl now, and even though she was in a heel organization as she claimed, Tammy could see that in the end, she was still just a normal girl. Someone who Tammy was proud to say she was friends with now. Someone she hoped she could fight beside and share anything with.

Sindel actually wanted to talk a little more, how Tammy was feeling, how she was holding up after that dreadful encounter of finding Tammy unconsious on the floor, although they had only shared one match, one moment, Tammy was engraved in her mind.. In her heart.. She shook her head lightly, she knew she had to think of other stuff too, she wanted Tammy to be safe, and to have fun, she was confused, unable to put everything in a single line and that alone made Sindel oblivious of Tammy getting inside the ring, though everything simply ' popped ' when she was given such a light hug, looking up and then over her shoulder to stare at Tammy, at first nothing came from Sindel, as if something just happened that left the young girl in awe.. But soon enough she leant back against Tammy and closed her eyes, resting against her, a soft sigh came from her, which seemed more out of relief then just a simple one.

" You're.. Such a dummy.. " Sindel giggled again, it felt like she could fall right asleep in her arms, it was as if Sindel needed it, needed someone around to hold her like that, it was oblivious to Sindel that it was always Seraphim she sought for company whenever something happened that she couldn't handle but now it was Tammy's arms, her body, that Sindel sought shelter in, and she couldn't deny it, the way she relaxed completely in Tammy, that soft catlike purr, Sindel was really at ease now, now more then she was before. " Mm.. Soft.. "

Though she was never really the type to cuddle and get close to people, Sindel was really becoming someone different to Tammy. There wasnâ€t a heavy lust or anything between them, even though Tammy did have a few enticed thoughts, but more than anything, she respected the girl, happy to know she had made such a good friend. Her hands rested lightly still around Sindelâ€s body by her shoulders, kneeling still behind her during the hug. And Sindel actually seemed to be enjoying it too, giggling lightly as she started to lean back into Tammyâ€s arms. Faintly, Sindel was resting against Tammyâ€s chest, her larger, c-cup breasts becoming the perfect pillow for Sindel to lean back in. The raven-haired girl blushed just a little at the contact, but she still didnâ€t let go, easing out a small breath as she heard Sindelâ€s purr, admiring how cute she looked. “Even dumb people make the right decision now and then, eh?” Tammy said with her own little giggle, finding Sindelâ€s laughter to be adorable in its own manner, seeing the softer side to someone so strong.

The girl didnâ€t move away yet, enjoying the moment some, never getting intimate, and just letting Sindel rest there for now. They would spar soon enough, but Tammy still wanted to talk a little, the relaxing mood between them helping her take the edge of as she continued. “You know… I came to this league really not sure what I was looking for. I didnâ€t expect to make a friend. …I even left after.. well, you saw what happened.” Tammy trailed off a little at that, recalling Lukretia again, and the brief leave Tammy took. But the girl continued, regaining her smile again, a calmer one, as she pulled her a little closer into her chest. While she did, her other hand left from Sindelâ€s shoulders, just having one hand hugging her softly, as the other reached up to the top of Sindelâ€s head. Gently her fingertips glided through her pearl white hair, like she was petting the girl softly, running her fingers through her soft strands. “I dunno about needing protection.. but if we could spend time outside of the league like this. I think Iâ€ll be just fine, I think… this was exactly what I needed.”

Despite how Sindel was practically falling asleep in Tammy's arms, she listened to each word carefully.. But when the stroking of her hair came did Sindel really relax into her arms, leaning into the hand much like Tammy had done when Sindel patted her, nothing went unnoticed when it came to Tammy's movements but she herself was oblivious to her own, maybe Tracy was right all along, she missed Seraphim because she needed these kinds of movements but this was Tammy, no one made Sindel feel this way, and right now, Tammy was doing just that, making Sindel feel like she was safe, forgetting about what she had been doing these past few months, what she had to do to make a living in the AFW, to protect herself.. All those thoughts washed away.

" You know.. If you keep doing that.. I'm going to fall asleep.. You're going to have to carry me home then.. " Sindel sounded almost blunt about it, normally she wouldn't say such things though, the more time she spend with Tammy, the more comfortable she felt, and that's pretty much all she wanted in life, to have fun and be safe at the same time, this was a big step to that direction but.. It won't be that pleasant as she wants it, there were stuff she had to deal with first, a war to win for one side to make it all happen. " I think.. We can certainly spend some time together.. And once this stupid fight is over.. Things will go more peaceful. "
