It's been awhile... (Tammy and Sindel)

I doubt you remember me. But Iâ€m hopeful that you do. Itâ€s Tammy Naga, we had a match a few months ago. And not long after, you helped me after what that bitch Lukretia did to me. Iâ€ve been wanting to thank you for the longest time, but I never knew how. Honestly, I left the AFW for awhile once I got out of the hospital. I was tired of it. But I realized I donâ€t have much of any other talents out there, and this may be the only place I can find work, so Iâ€ve come back to the AFW.

Iâ€m sorry for how… delayed this feels. Iâ€ve always felt this odd connection since out match, and I canâ€t put my finger on it. Its bothered me for awhile now, even while I was gone. But now that Iâ€m back, before I even start my career here again, I wanted to talk to you. Maybe… we can even train? You and I have two completely different styles, and the way I saw it, we could have a lot to teach eachother. I donâ€t want to end up like I did that one day you found me unconscious, so maybe we can get stronger by working together? I just hope youâ€re okay. Sorry if these seems a bit out of the blue, but I hope you get this. Meet me tomorrow in gym 4. I know thatâ€s a rather small one, but I wanted to keep things private… Iâ€m not good with people in general. Thanks for reading this.

Damnit… she felt pathetic writing that. Tammy wasnâ€t the type to open up or write letters really. Heck, she didnâ€t even socialize with others, and it was a miracle if she even said more than a few sentences a day. But she had a lot to say to Sindel, she couldnâ€t keep these things off her mind much longer, it was driving her a bit nuts if she didnâ€t get the chance to say anything. An odd feeling indeed for her, but she had to get this off her chest.

Listening to music with large DJ studio headphones over her ears, the girl had just been arriving to the gym, finding it empty as she had planned. Currently, she was wearing her favored attire; a blue miniskirt, a long pair of black socks with simple black penny loafers, a short sleeved shirt that hugged her curves nicely, and a pair of long, black cat ears that matched nicely with her hair that she wore often. The shirt she had was always revolved around in her matches day by day, and today the shirt was a teal, almost green hue with a white circle on the front by her breasts. There on the circle of the shirt was a simple black number like a billiard ball, the number today reading 8, and that was all. Over the shirt though, unbuttoned, she had a black and white checkered jacket, just for now, but not planning to wear it if they spar.

She was quiet for now, sitting at the bench feeling… nervous? She normally wasnâ€t this anxious, but then again, this whole invitation was anything but normal for Tammy. The short, black haired girl always kept herself about everything. But if she kept herself bottled up over something like this, she didnâ€t know what she would do. She had to thank Sindel, and really hoped for a chance to spar. The girl was one of the few people she respected here, one of the few that actually gave her a bit of hope.

Sindel had been reading the letter a good few times now, she knew who Tammy was, all too well. She won't forget the day she saw the girl unconsious like that, perhaps she was another reason why things turned out this way, still, even though she had become a heel and vicious towards everyone, she couldn't ignore this, Tammy had that special kind of something that made Sindel curious about her, pretty much the same as Seraphim had. Instead of tearing the letter up, she neatly folded it and hid it in her locker, she might aswell see how Tammy was and train with her, she had nothing better to do these days.

Though Sindel was a little late, she entered the gym, wearing her usual eastern dress with long sleeves, which she had usually hidden small smoke bombs or any other type of weaponry that would aid her, though she had nothing in them right now, there was no need to, for some reason she trusted Tammy and knew she wouldn't hurt her, seeing the girl upon the bench, looking like that, it actually made Sindel smile, as cute as she remembered her but she wasn't going to say that out loud!

She casually walked over to Tammy, her eyes didn't shift from her to check her surroundings, she figured she was safe but even if they were going spar, how was she going to attack Tammy? She couldn't go.. Full force on her.. She didn't want to, so while she was heading to her, her mind was filled with many questions on how to do this spar but once close enough, she'll bow at her with a graceful tint in it. " Nice to meet you again, Tammy. "

Tammy wasnâ€t normally this anxious and nervous. She couldnâ€t even sit still on the bench. One moment she was leaning back some. Another moment s crossed one leg over the other, tapping her foot impatiently. Finally as Sindel arrived, the girl was sitting cross-legged, black long socks stretching a little and her skirt falling between her legs. The girl used music to keep her calm, it always did the trick for her, and Tammy felt like it helped put her at some ease, but she still couldnâ€t help but feel anxious, like this could either go really well, or incredibly awful. Listening to some slightly softer metal than she usually did, the girlâ€s golden eyes darted towards the door as she the white haired girl arrive.

Those yellow eyes, the soft white hair done up with itâ€s braid, the softer complexion of the girl, and that light smile, it put Tammy at ease when she saw the girl. Slowly, Tammy slipped her headphones off, letting them rest around her neck, as her similar hued eyes met Sindelâ€s, and she was a bit speechless at first. She thought Sindel wasnâ€t going to be very kind to her, but instead, as she looked the girl up and down, admiring her dress, and saw her take a bow like that, Tammyâ€s own expression lightened a little, as she gave an audible sigh of relief. “I.. I didnâ€t think you would come.” Tammy said with a weak smile of her own, the expression of anything remotely happy being rare on Tammy, but her soft cherub cheeks looking adorable with that expression. She didnâ€t think the girl would even bother reading it, having a faint idea of Sindelâ€s reputation. But at this point, Tammy had a better feeling about this, calming herself as she turned her music off; another rare thing indeed.

“The feeling is mutual though. I… I never even got the chance to thank you from before.” Though it may have been a bit tough to bring up the last time they saw eachother. Tammy felt the need to. Lukretia had severely beaten Tammy in one of the locker rooms, leaving her bruised, bleeding, naked, and raped. A memory Tammy put aside as a long past nightmare. But Sindel had been the one to find her, and got her medical attention. Between that, and their… somewhat intimate match, Tammy felt like there was just this loose connection between them. There was even this moment of silence, as Tammy looked away, slowly and even a bit bashfully rubbing the back of her head, the tiniest hue of red coming to her face as her eyes broke away. “Sorry… I brought you all the way here and I.. I sorta donâ€t know what to say now.”

…Damnit she felt like such a tool now.

Sindel was more at ease, or so it seemed, it looked like Tammy had trouble talking to her now but she figured with the way the letter was written, that there was something that tainted Tammy's mind, perhaps it was the shyness or the fact what happened before.. It made Sindel want to help her forget about it.. She too had been in a similiar situation, with Rheena, she vowed for revenge despite being mostly injured and caught in such a predicament, it was Seraphim who managed to help her forget about it and she knew that perhaps Tammy needed some sort of ' magic ' to aid her too, so Sindel took it upon herself to be the leader of their conversation.

" Well, you said you wanted to spar, let's begin with that first, and perhaps we'll be loosened up from that, that we'll have plenty to talk about, hmm? " Sindel's smile never left her face, bringing her hand down to meet Tammy's, a slight jolt of excitement ran through Sindel's body because of how soft Tammy actually was and how unique she looked, she had almost forgotten just how much of a bliss Tammy was, she did almost ravage her in her first match but in a good way, in a way Sindel never felt before.. So she wanted to see just how much Tammy had improved, grabbing her by that soft hand to pull her onto her feet and towards the ring.

Part of Tammy was still expecting rejection. She didnâ€t know why there was such a fear like this, she wasnâ€t normally such a coward. Heck, the girl always went on without caring about things or people, just happy with having her music, and paying the bills. She still wasnâ€t too happy that her only calling was here, but she was going to give it a try again, hoping things didnâ€t end up like they did before. But that was why she spoke to Sindel, the girl was one of the only people she found more than just simple competition with. She felt… at ease around her, like maybe, just maybe she had been able to find someone she could trust here.

“Wa-Wait!” She wasnâ€t the type to raise her voice, but she stumbled as her soft hand felt Sindelâ€s take hold, the girlâ€s hand a little clammy from how nervous she was on the inside, trying to hide it but her actions giving it away. She didnâ€t shout in anger, just in hesitance, almost falling as she wasnâ€t prepared to being pulled up like that. Sindel seemed anxious to get into the ring, but Tammy only used the thought of a spar for something later, maybe something to attract the girl to come here. The real thing was that she wanted to talk, and the girl closed her golden eyes a moment, pursing her pink lips into a hesitant frown, shaking her head. “I-I donâ€t want to just rush to that. I.. I want to talk first.” Why was she so nervous? Part of her even felt tense as their hands were holding, leaving Tammy into these mixed thoughts, before she tried shaking them away, eyes clenched shut as she did. “Sindel, youâ€re the only person who was actually… nice to me in this league. I just… agh, you know, I canâ€t even say where Iâ€m going with this…” Why was this so difficult?? You donâ€t just go out and ask ‘Will you be my friend?†Tammy normally didnâ€t need friends. But after everything that happened here to her, she was starting to see that, and the girl tried to find out the best way to ask, her words still in a small stutter as she tried hiding it behind an upside down V shaped pout, her other hand trying to look distracted by playing with the long strands of her silky black hair.

Sindel had come to a complete stop when the girl spoke up, it had surely gotten her attention to once again face Tammy, though still holding her hand. She did however change her position so she was facing her, not to be rude or show Tammy that she wasn't paying attention. It was odd, but the way Tammy was looking and trying to speak like that, it almost made Sindel scream out ' kawaii ' How she often teased Haruka because of her sillyness and clumbsyness, it seemed it was infectious and now Tammy had it. Though it might have been a big deal for Tammy, Sindel wasn't exactly sure what she was meaning though she still complied to the idea. " I thought we already were friends. " She'd answer with a sweet smile, Sindel certainly seemed alot more relaxed.. Not her usual dark self anymore, maybe it was because Tammy actually was a more ' innocent ' person in this federation.

Sindel hadn't stopped to think about it, but even when Tammy managed to take advantage of her, she didn't got angry nor sad about it, she had actually enjoyed it but she would never tell her that. Still, she couldn't deny how attractive Tammy looked.. She decided to just give Tammy time to relax with her and do a spar much later once they were both ready, it seemed Tammy wanted her company more.. Not that Sindel minded at all.

When Sindel turned to look at her, Tammy almost instinctively reared her head back a little, half expecting the girl to shout out something at her. She couldnâ€t help herself with how anxious she felt. She was never in a situation quite like this, and really didnâ€t know how to behave. In fact, with most emotions really at all, the girl didnâ€t know the proper way to handle them or behave. So she was just feeling awkward all over, trying to calm herself some, as she looked off to the side.

That is, until Sindel said that special word to her. Friends..? She.. she considered them friends already? Tammy felt her heart suddenly beat faster, and her face turned a faint shade of red, eyes wider, those golden orbs blinking a few times as she covered her mouth to hold back the small gasp of surprise she would have let out. She swallowed hard, and with her other hand, she felt around for her ipod, her urge for music there to help calm her nerve. She managed to hold it, but the girl uncharacteristically dropped it with a shaky hand, bending her knees to drop strait down and pick it up, doing so blindly as she was still looking at Sindel, and slowly slipping her hand from off her mouth. The girl seemed terribly confused right now, like her eyes would have started spinning circles at any moment. But she kept herself as calm as she could despite the blush, finally looking at Sindel again, giving an uncertain little smile, the tiniest, shy little grin on her face, since she wasnâ€t used to that sort of expression either. It was like the girl was trying to learn these emotions for the first time. “You… you really mean that?” She finally asked, her voice nearly having a little squeak to it at first, before she tried to clear her head and even throat. “I-I mean… sorry. I just… Iâ€ve never really had a friend and didnâ€t know how to… er… approach this kind of thing and…” She trailed off for a moment, feeling really dumb now, as the girl rubbed the back of her head next, nearly making her black cat ears she always wore to go a bit crooked, the sharper, long ears even seeming to droop forward slightly like her emotions actually seemed to effect them. “Sorry, Iâ€m just.. new to this. I feel like weâ€ve both had a few encounters and… everything youâ€ve done for me I really appreciate.” Her last words came off a bit softer, her gaze slowly shifting aside still, unable to keep proper eye contact for long with the white haired kawaii. She never even gave Sindel a good long look yet, just feeling awkward and embarrassed about this whole thing, her behavior clearly not of the norm during this flustered and confusing moment.

Sindel could feel herself grow at ease, it was only because of how the girl was acting, did the kawaii find herself more amused then serious, maybe she should tone down on emotionless or light emotionless attitutde she was still given, and open up a little more to Tammy, it seemed she'd have to help Tammy though, perhaps little by little will this girl feel more at ease around her, but perhaps some words would help too. " You should relax, Tammy. I know you're new to it, but trust me, we're friends and nothing else matters, right? " She then teasingly patted the girl on the head, trying to ease her, guide her hesitation out of her and keep her from crumbling down like a half broken statue. " It's not like anything bad will happen, right? "

Hearing her own words, she should heed them herself, perhaps now was the time to take it easy again, it seemed Tammy really needed someone like her around, she can't think this whole situation seems familiar, she just can't put her finger on it..

Sindel may have been thinking about lightning up a little on her colder attitude, but for Tammy, the girl was well beyond her own normal personality as well. Normally, Tammy was a girl of few words, blunt, uncaring, and just in this for the money and a good fight. Half the time she let her music speak for her, paying little attention to anything around her except when she had a match, and then often just going home to her little place. But right now, she was certainly beyond that. The nervousness there but fading, speaking more than usual, a mix of doubt and confusion, and this shy but warming smile coming to her face when she heard the word friend from Sindel. The two were about the same age, and Tammy had a few encounters already with Sindel, both of which really helped her feel better, once mentally, and once physically. The white haired, yellow eyed fighter before her was one of the only people she felt like she could and wanted to trust. And here, as Sindel told her to relax, and even asked her to trust her because of the fact that they were friends, Tammy finally found herself being put at ease.

She was able to slowly face the girl again, nervously biting her pink lips some, but slowly, her golden eyes met Sindelâ€s, as Tammy admired the small smile she got out of Sindel, seeing something both strong, admiring, and yet also… adoring about Sindel. The girl was cute in a way that was hard to put her finger on. Maybe it was how she had such beautiful and smooth skin, maybe it was that pearl-white hair and her yellow eyes that looked more natural than Tammyâ€s, or maybe it was something simpler, like the little adoration she gave Tammy, as the girl was patted on the head. But whatever it was, Tammy just appreciated her presence none the less, even turning her head into the pat, somewhat like a cat wanting more. And with her cat ears, it only made it more convincing.

“I guess youâ€re right. I-I mean, youâ€re probably the only person I trust.” Tammy said a little more in a quiet tone. The girl blinked a few times though as she realized she was subconsciously moving into the light patting along her head, and withdrew, knowing she probably looked silly doing that and feeling lightly embarrassed. However, she continued to talk, hands folded in front of her hips as she thought about the league some out loud to Sindel. “Itâ€s just… between all these organizations, and the people who just… take advantage of you. I really didnâ€t think Iâ€d find someone I could actually trust. Iâ€m.. glad youâ€re not like that, Sindel.”

…Tammy had no idea who she was talking to, unaware how ironic and backwards those last words of hers actually were.

Those last words stopped Sindel's smile, and turned her expression a little more serious, more realistic towards this whole ordeal Tammy talked about. " To be honest. " She spoke with a soft, yet dark voice, her gaze fixed upon Tammy's but not out of hostility, more like wanted to tell the truth towards the girl. " I am one of those people.. I'm a heel fighter. I work for a heel organization, I fight to injure my opponents. " Every word was like a bullseye, it hit the marks Sindel was setting, because it was her current aim in life, she was a fighter that had been corrupted by the current times of the AFW, there was no other way to ' survive ' other then fighting with a force to be reckoned with, perhaps Tammy should be knowing that, that being Neutral no longer exists in the AFW, you had to pick the side, and it had to be the winning side..

Still, looking into Tammy's eyes.. She knew she had to lie a little, she didn't come here to crush the girl's spirit of their friendship, or how Sindel really was, she just needed to be at ease and be told that she could count on Sindel being there for her, as odd as it sounded, she had to do just that. Her hand travelled from Tammy's head to her shoulder and gently patted it. " But don't you worry, Nothing will happen to you anymore, I'll be backing you up. " She couldn't give her a smile or a grin though, she had to think on what she was doing, who she was trusting but she already knew she could trust Tammy, that much was certain in her now current life, she just had to find a way to protect her, to hide her from what's been going on. But for now.. Perhaps just a talk and a spar would be the best for both of them.
