Wrestling Information

Strategy: Stay low and quick, out of the grasp of his opponent. Avoid major confrontations of strength, especially if the opponent is larger and stronger. Use agility and submission holds to gain victory. Angering the opponent and using their lack of judgment against them is also a major component of his strategy.

Style: Quick, efficient and slippery. A combination of Muay-Thai and Jiu-jitsu, sort of MMA but with a bit in a bit more depth, along with some random wrestling moves and improvised techniques. Thomas is a feisty and fast little bastard. Because of his small and lean stature, he prefers to wear his opponents down by making them chase him all over the ring. When he can use strikes, he will keep his distance most of the time, relying on counters and quick strikes at areas of critical importance (i.e. knees, kidneys, pressure points, throat, etc) to bring his opponents down. When he cannot use strikes, he relies on moves where strength is less important than execution. He is a lover of arm bars, chokes (blood or wind, but preferably the former) and any other kind of move where he does not have to pit straight muscle mass against muscle mass. He often embarrasses his opponents by rendering their moves effective through speed and his uncanny ability to slip most holds.

Favored moves:

Slippin†Sly: This is one of Thomasâ€s favorite moves to use, especially against larger, heavier wrestlers, of which there are many. Itâ€s most useful when his opponent favors charging and rushing tactics, as it utilized his speed and his ability to maneuver his way out of holds. To use this move, Thomas simply waits till his opponent is literally closing the hold and then slips and slides his way out of it, using a combination of strength and agility to slip away before his opponent can fully execute the move.

Funny Physics: Another favorite move of Thomasâ€s, one that utilizes the size and weight of an opponent against the opponent. Thomas gets the opponent to attack him, either by rushing or striking in some way, but keeps just far enough away that the opponent must over-extend and unbalance to reach him. As soon as the balance is shifted, Thomas either strikes or pushes (depending on the match type) the fulcrum of his opponentâ€s weight and sends them (preferably face first) onto the mat with almost no effort on his part.

Finishing moves:

Boot to the Head: He kicks his opponent in the head, plain and simple. If the opponent is taller, heâ€ll use the ropes or get them to their knees first. This is different from his normal kicking in that when he does it, he calls out “BOOT TO THE HEAD!” Because of its obvious nature, it is generally used when his opponent is either dazed or cannot hear properly.

Riding the wave: If an opponent is finished off while standing, either dazed or unconscious, Thomas will vault off of the ropes and land on their shoulders or back, knocking them down. As they hit the ground, he will pop up, shouting some kind of surfer or skater euphemism, as though he has just pulled a sick move or ridden a large wave in on a board.



Characteristics

Visual Appearance:

Personality: Thomas is a fun-loving and humorous guy. He loves to get into friendly sparring matches and generally avoids the more serious or sadistic ones, if possible. He has a fairly strong sense of moral justice and hates to see several people ganging up on a single opponent. If he witnesses an unofficial handicap match, he will gladly throw himself into the fray, even if the person being attacked is not of the same faction, gender or other distinction. He is slow to anger, quick to forgive, loves to laugh long and loud and loves to get close and personal, both inside of the ring and out of it. He loves physical attention, cuddling, smothering and so on, but all of it friendly, if not consensual. Sadism and so forth make him angry and vengeful like no other, especially when executed on those who are unable to defend themselves and do not want to engage in such activities. He is open-minded and willing to try new things, as long as theyâ€re fun for all parties involved. When given the option, Thomas prefers to be a lover over a fighter, but will never turn down the offer of a good, fun-times brawl. He deals well with humiliation and defeat, being properly downcast and submissive while in public but perking up quickly afterward. He is not one to sulk, bear grudges or seek revenge on the majority of people. His near constantly cheerful disposition has earned him the name of “Sunny” or “Sunnyboy” among some circles, names that he does not dislike. He would like to get to know you better, whoever you are, and he would love to sit down, chat for a bit, maybe have some tea or coffee and then get down and wrestle or just get down and dirty for a good time.

Past/History: Thomas was born in a small house in England, where exactly he doesnâ€t particularly remember or care. He moved into London when he was four and attended school in London till the age of ten. He then moved to America, where he went to public schools and quickly learned to be a “proper” American…by Northwest standards. He lived in the city of Portland, in northern Oregon with his mother and father until he reached the age of 18. While there, he took classes at local martial arts and wrestling gyms, learning various fighting techniques. He also played soccer for the whole period, giving him a great base for his strength and endurance. He never bulked up much due to all of the running and stretching and so forth, but he made up for it by being faster than everyone else and a hell of a lot more tenacious. Due to his smaller size, he developed a tenacity that borders on insanity, something that has won him many a match against larger opponents who underestimate his ability to do damage and to take it as well. He is the youngest of three children, having an older brother and sister whom he loves very much.

Wrestling Attire: Long, fairly loose pants, no shirt, no accessories, no shoes or socks. Just the pants and underpants.

Fun Facts:

Thomas is a ginger and therefore has no soul! (Sorry to any who are offended, this is meant as a joke, as I myself am a ginger as well.)

Thomas has a long-standing crush on one of his cousins and believes she has a crush on him but neither of them is bold enough to act on it.

Thomas can drink an average Russia, German or Scotsman under the table, in spite of being rather small and not all that heavy.

Thomas LOVES Techno/Trance, hardstyle and all other types of electronica music.
