Down Time

Akashi raised her eyebrow at Taylor's declaration. She seemed confident. Akashi liked that. She took another swig from her sake. She had downed about half of it already and those who studied her could see a faint blush developing on her cheeks. The big girl was already feeling the first tingles of her buzz and knew that by the time she finished the second Sake, she'd already be drunk. It was kind of embarrassing that such a big girl could get drunk so easily but she hit her high quickly and rode it for the rest of the time, able to out drink almost anyone. "I.. accept!" She declared raising her finger into the air to emphasize her point.

"It will be awesome. But I won't hold back!" She said and then looked at Lia. "Oh!" Akashi said. "I'd like to see that too!" She declared." Akashi was getting excited. "I'll fight right here, right now!" She said with just as much enthusiasm as Taylor. "I'll fight you any time, anywhere in any kind of match or street brawl! I don't back down." She then looked at them, pushing herself halfway off the table with both her hands. "I'd fuck the both of you at the same time!" She declared and then her eyes widened. "Oh shit..." She mumbled and sat back in the booth blushing. "Well.. I'd fight the both of you too." She said not looking at either of them and still blushing.

Taylor was too excited to notice Akashi's Freudian slip.

"Yes!" she screamed and hopped nimbly up on to her seat and stepped up onto the table, knocking over her bottle in the process. She danced, briefly, drawing the stares from some men at the bar, and then hopped down to the floor. She stood facing Akashi with her feet set apart and her fists planted on her hips.

"C'mon, champ! Any time any place? Well this is a time, and we're in a place, so on your feet! Bunny girl... you can ref."

She skipped back a few steps, bouncing back and forth on the balls of her feet. She was ready, fast, barely buzzing, and grinning devilishly.

Akashi watched, arching her eyebrow skeptically while at the same time grinning wildly. She watched Taylor make her proclamation and then reached over and finished off her beer. She slammed the bottle down hard and let out a sigh of contentment. "Ahhhh..." She wiped her mouth and swiveled in the booth to face Taylor." You're right!" She said as she stood up. "I never back down from a challenge, just be ready." And with that statement, Akashi would attempt to charge at Taylor and grab her in a bearhug. She thought she could catch the girl off guard with that. If she could then she'd try and drive the punk backwards and slam her into the nearest wall, a wide grin on her face the whole time.

Taylor knew what Akashi was doing, and she knew that she probably should've done something about it. But she didn't. As Akashi wrapped her arms around Taylor's body and began to squeeze, Taylor wrapped her arms around Akashi and put her head down on Akashi's shoulder. She squeezed her back, but affectionately.

Then she grunted and wheezed as Akashi slammed her back against the wall. It hurt. She grinned. She pushed back on Akashi's forehead with both hands before letting go and smashing the point of her elbow into Akashi's face as her head came back forward.

Akashi had a grin on her face as she slammed Taylor into the wall. She was surprised the girl was able to maintain the grip and even had noticed the affectionate grip that she had reciprocated as she charged with her. In her position, she was unable to defend and the elbow came crashing down against her. "Ugh!" She said, stepping backwards, letting go of Taylor for the moment. She lifted her hand up to pinch her nose and rub away the pain but soon a grin reformed on her face. "Not bad..." She said and with her free arm she would try and throw a hard palm strike into Talyor's chest, to show her what a real punch was made of and keep her mostly pinned against the wall while she tried to recover.

Meanwhile, the rest of the crowd had noticed what was going on as soon as Taylor crashed into the wall and were now all eyes on the two brawling beauties. Though they didn't realize that there was no malice between the two as the duked it out.

"Eep!"

Taylor narrowly slipped to the side, allowing Akashi's palmstrike to thump against the wall. She grabbed Akashi's wrist with both hands and braced one shin against Akashi's side. She jumped and threw her other leg over Akashi's head and arm, trapping the arm between her thighs while trying to throw her weight back in such a way as to bring Akashi down onto her back. She pulled with her whole body to straighten the arm and force it back against the elbow.

"Come on, you're way too slow for me!" she jeered.

Akashi grunted as her strike slammed into the wall. She turned just uin time to see Taylor tryignt o grab her arm and pull it away. "Huh?" SHe muttered as Taylor began to use her agility. But Akashi wasn't done. She grunted and tried to spread her legs to maintain her baklance. She'd try, with all her might, to hold up Taylor, keeping her hanging off her arm, essentially. But even the Sumo wasn't that strong. The best she could do was try and guide Taylor down in a way that Akashi determined, not the punk. If she could manage, she'd still be int he armbar, but not on her back. The position would be more like Akashi on one knee with Taylor's shoulders on the ground, propped up against Akashi and the ground at a 45 degree angle.

"And you're not strong enough for me!" She'd retort back,flashing a grin through clenched teeth back at Taylor.

"Maybe not," Taylor began. She strained with her whole body to pull back Akashi's arm, pushing up her hips so that only her shoulders and neck were on the ground. "But...you're still...got...elbows!"

At that moment, there was nothing else in the world that would mean more to her than making the champ tap so quickly. She didn't even care that it was in a random bar in front of almost no one. Maybe when she was done with Akashi she'd take out the Bunny-eared girl too. Then things would be different when she walked into the AFW building.

Akashi grimaced as she felt the lock on her elbow and strained. "Too ... Bad..." Se said as she would try and snake her arm under Taylor's body and grab onto her back. "You only have one .... Arm..." The Sumo would try and lift Taylor up enough to slam her back down and hopefully get her off her arm.

((Catch up time.))

Lia's eyes shot wide, "Shit, you're right! Sorry, I'll shut up." Lia nodded, acting as though she were cowed by Taylor's scold. She rested her chin in her hands, staring intently at Taylor and Akashi, only breaking the grip to snatch the next bottle the waiter brought for Lia and take a quick, but small sip of it.

Akashi addressing Lia directly caused Lia to lean back and smile nervously, shifting from the eager, wide-eyed bounce of a kid to the nervous stutter of a fangirl. Almost like a cartoon character, Lia could bounce between demeanors with unusual pace and fluidity. Akashi had caught her off guard... The gracious sorts were always the most annoying to mine for information. They wanted everyone involved in the conversation and would always invite the quiet ones to speak. This made quiet observation difficult. Rolling her eyes with a chuckle, Lia finally faced Akashi's with a wry grin, "I don't know what you're talking about. I cl--" Lia was cut off by the overeager Taylor, saved by the biggest ego at the table! Lia merely nodded at Taylor, eager to see her continue to test Akashi... though it seemed a lost cause at this point. Akashi did not seem to be hiding anything. She was just as cheerful and pleasant as she seemed. What she saw in someone like Sarah was either her own character flaw or a grievous misread of Sarah on Lia's own part.

The two were way jazzed about fighting, Akashi ALREADY seeming tipsy. Lia's eyes widened a bit at Akashi's slip of the tongue, but she said nothing. "Me? Ref? Alright," Lia shrugged. It was better than fighting, "In THIS corner," she raised her bottle and began to call out, "We have the b...b..." Not only had the fight already gotten underway, but appropriate words were not coming easily to her. The beer was finally getting to her. "And I'm STILL the least drunk girl here. What the hell..." She muttered under her breath. Kicking her feet up on the table, a pose that necessitated her sinking in her seat quite a bit, she watched the fight. "Goooo Head Case." Lia let it in a sort of half-hearted cheer.
