"Ah..." Momoko wasn't one to pry. But she felt the atmosphere had to be brightened, so she ask. "Could you tell me about yourself, Maya-san? I realize that I don't know much about you... I can tell you something about myself in return..."

Maya looked at her trying to think of what she could tell about herself to her friend "well um I ....maybe you should tell me something first I can't really think of anything to say."

Momoko smiled. "I understand. Well... to tell the truth, I'm actually not a true sumo wrestler," she confessed. "I trained very hard to learn the forms of the fighting style. But I didn't put on bulk like Kokona-san or more dedicated rikishi, and I don't wear the mawashi loincloth. I'm more of a fan of sumo who dabbles in it."

Maya nodded "i see well i'm not trained in anything I'm just quite athletic with very powerful legs due to playing soccer for most of my life. I guess I just ended up here even though I wasn't experienced in anything like this at all.'

Momoko was amazed. "So you didn't train to be a wrestler at all? And yet you beat me..." She smiled. "That is amazing, Maya-san. I think you have a lot of talent, more talent than you give yourself credit for. If you train right, you would become a very strong wrestler."

She did wonder why Maya mentioned having lost several times before. Had her friend been in other wrestling leagues prior to this?

"Yes well even so I have lost before though that was in actual fights and actual wrestling matches though those were with two of my best guy friends who are in sex wars right now." She chuckled sighing looking down "I've been through a lot really though it doesn't bother me I mean with every loss a new victory awaits."

"Oh... well, I'm glad to hear that you remain very hopeful despite your difficulties. " Then Momoko thought over Maya's revelations regarding her 'opponents' and blushed. "Ah, Maya-san? You did say guy friends? As in, boys?"

"Yes Brandon and Alex though Alex goes by Itzal here they are quite good friends of mine without them I would of never dreamed of joining up here. If you want you can meet them I have been meaning to see how those two are doing right now."

"I would be honored to meet them," Momoko agreed. "Would it be fine if we brought Yatori-san along?"

Mentioning her friend did remind her of the former's absence. Where is Yatori? she now wondered. Has she gotten into a spar while I was away? I'll call her after we finish eating.
