Maya just chuckled shaking her head as she sat down on the seat looking at Momoko pulling her down to sit beside her "Its fine really don't worry about it you were surprised I understand." She rested her head on Momokos shoulder sighing "anyway its not like I've never fell on my butt.

Momoko let herself be made to sit beside Maya. "Gomennasai," she softly repeated. She blushed a little when Maya's pretty head came to rest upon her shoulder, but didn't stir, and indeed smiled a little.

It was in that state that the nurse came back with the crutches. "Here you are- my, my..." The woman whistled wolfishly. "I heard the ruckus just now, but I didn't think it was a lover's quarrel..."

Momoko blushed some more. "Y-you're mistaken, Sensei! W-we're not lovers!"

Maya looked at the nurse chuckling as she kept her head on Momoko's shoulder "yes unfortunately we're not but who knows maybe one day." Maya giggled knowing Momoko was going to be as red as a tomato at that comment though the nurse giggled winking at her. "Well here's the crutches you make sure she gets around okay" the nurse said looking at Momoko.

"Maya-san!" the tomato-red Momoko protested. Then she chuckled wryly. "Mou, you really are as bad as Yatori-san..."

She accepted the crutches from the nurse. "Arigatou, Sensei... Maya-san?" She will help her friend haul herself onto the crutches.

As Maya got herself onto the crutches she looked at Momoko smiling a little bit of a blush was noticeable on her dark skin. "Yes well though I might be I actually find myself attracted to you Momoko -san."

The admission froze Momoko on her feet. "Ah... That's," she tried, sensing the honesty in Maya's statement and not wanting to hurt her new friend. "I really don't know what to say, Maya-san... this is the first time a girl has told me she liked me that way..."

Maya shook her head sighing as she started to walk on the crutches out of the clinic "come on I'm hungry, anyway I kind of figured that you just looked at me like a friend anyway."

"Ah..." Momoko felt bad that she had to put down Maya so harshly. She obediently followed Maya out. "Haii... arigatou..."

As they neared the cafeteria, she had to press, "Let me pay for your meal, Maya-san... it's the least I can do for you..."

"No no its fine I actually have money" she said chuckling a little bit stopping long enough on her crutches to pull out a money clip that she usually carried. She quickly pulled a bill putting it up not wanting Momoko to see how much money she just happened to have in cash alone.

"Ah." Momoko smiled. "Then may I accompany you while eating? I believe eating with friends makes the food taste much better."
