Hell's Carnival has opened

It was pretty late at night, Lute had set dinner for the people in Cerbera's house, five plates were on the table, each filled with quite an amount of food. Lute had just returned from the kitchen with drinks, almost making some of them fall but Lute was quite balanced for someone who is usually a bit clumbsy. She placed a can of orange soda next to each plate, finally getting to sit on the couch with a loud sigh.

" There we go.. I think we should wait for Cerbera though.. I wish I knew what she was doing these days.. Always gone. "

She then took out her cellphone, looking for Cerbera's number and calling it, holding the cellphone to her ear and patiently waited for Cerbera to pick up.. Who didn't. After four tries, Lute decided to give up, they couldn't waste food like this, she'll have to make a special meal for Cerbera later, looking at the three near her, Obsidia, Keiko and Pearl.

" Well.. She is not picking up.. Let's start, I'm sure she'll arrive shortly. " Lute said with a nervous smile, she was off course worried about Cerbera, specially with how depressed Cerbera seemed to be these past two weeks, she was so quiet, not a single word or smile came from her, plus Cerbera always seemed to come back late at night, go to sleep for a few hours and then leave before anyone would wake up. She had hoped Keiko or herself had some luck with getting Cerbera to talk but neither got Cerbera's attention.

Lute looked down at her food and the empty spot besides her, a sigh coming from her before she'd lean down to start eating, not exactly all that happy with all these thoughts roaming inside her, she had trouble enough being her happy self were it not for Keiko cheering her up all the time.

Keiko looked on anxiously at Lute while she was trying to get in contact with Cerbera, but that obviously didn't happen. She sighed silently, knowing that it would happen. 'What the hell is going through your mind...' She thought, giving that saddening look on her face as she stared at her food. But she shook her head and just started eating. "Don't worry, it's Cerbera-sama. I'm pretty sure she will come back to her old self." She said with a cheery look on her face, before she would start eating.

Lute could understand how Keiko was feeling, she was feeling the exact same thing, her fork twirling idly through her food, only Obsidia and Pearl seemed to be eating peacefully but they didn't really know Cerbera that well as they did. Lute tried to start a conversation, maybe it would cheer them both up. " So.. Keiko.. How's it going..? I hope you're enjoying the food. "

Lute stared at Cerbera's plate again, closing her eyelids halfly, this was going to be harder then she thought it would be but she just had to try and stop worrying so much, Keiko was right, they shouldn't worry too much, she'll just have to pray for the best.

Keiko looked up at Lute, only for a moment, before looking back down at her own plate. "Hehheh... It's ok, so far." But that was all Keiko can say. She honestly didn't feel like talking, not now, only mindlessly eating her food with her purple narrowed eyes.

" Alright.. That's good to hear.. " Lute went back to eating her own dinner though suddenly Zasashi, leader of the Era of Hell Surveillance squad was next to her. Lute wasn't shocked nor surprise, she expected as much from silent person. Zasashi leaned down to whisper something into Lute's ear while she was eating, who soon coughed out loudly because of something, clutching her throat softly while she spat the food back out, startled by what she just heard.

" C-Come again!? "

Zasashi backed away when Lute began to cough, deciding not to whisper it out but speak out clearly.

" ...Cerbera has attacked two of our members while they were heading home, they've both been rushed to the hospital, one of them claimed that Cerbera has declared war on us.. "

Lute continued to cough, gently slamming her fist in her chest, not having the words to speak.

Keiko's eyes widened and she quickly looked up at Lute, who was coughing and choking on her food. "L-Lute-chan!..." And then, when she heard what came out of Zasashi's mouth, her shocked expression on her face became more visible. "What?!... No way..." Her hands clenched into fists, and she stared at her own plate again. 'You betrayed us?... Why?.. What's your reason?!' She immediately looked back at Zasashi with a much more angered expression. "Where is she!?"

Zasashi turned to look at Keiko, seeing how the girl looked wasn't something Zasashi would recommend.. But she told her where nonetheless. " ..She was last spotted at the abandoned carnival not far from here.. Though I am not sure if she is still her.

Meanwhile, Obsidia and Pearl both stood up, knowing that Keiko would probably need them, Obsidia doing a few stretches while Pearl patiently waited for departure. Lute drunk a bit of soda to clear her throat, looking up at Keiko and noticing her expression aswell, Lute should be doing the same.. But she couldn't bring herself to be angry at Cerbera no matter what she did.

" ... "

"Well, that's all I need to hear then." Keiko said as she stood up immediately, and then just started to rush out of the house and immediately head straight for the carnival, trying to get there before Cerbera leaves the area. She doesn't want to trouble herself looking for the girl again if she misses this opportunity to see her.

Before Keiko had left, a certain someone had been listening into what had been said, knowing how her Keiko was with Cerbera, this would not turn out well so instead the person had slipped outside through the backdoor and rushed to the carnival, arriving pretty swiftly and noticing a shadowy figure near one of the stands. " I won't let you hurt my sister.. " The person was Yuriko, who wanted to take down Cerbera before her sister would get here..

Obsidia and Pearl rushed after Keiko, they had vowed to protect Keiko no matter what, even if it was against their own boss. " Man.. This is pretty lame.. " Obsidia spoke out a little loudly, Pearl shushing at her while they rushed to the carnival.

Soon they would arrive, Obsidia and Pearl looking around before they'd notice someone laying on the floor, Obsidia grumbling out as she noticed the twin tails, figuring it would be Cerbera as she headed to her. " Man, someone beat us to the punch. "
She pulled the girl up but blinked when it was someone else, a bruised, unconsious Yuriko, making Obsidia gasp out and turn her head to Keiko. " Keiko! "

Keiko looked around the carnival while Obsidia tended the unknown, lying girl. However, it won't be a pleasant surprise for her when Obisidia called for her. She rushed towards her, until she noticed the girl, and shock appeared on her face. "Y-Yuriko!?" She quickly went to her side, placing her head gently on her lap. "Yuriko! Yuriko!!" She yelled, gently slapping her cheeks to try to wake her up, but with her horrible condition, she doubt she would wake up. She quickly looked around, her face much more angrier than before. "CERBERA!! WHERE ARE YOU?!!" She screamed out.
