Tyris vs. Jack

Tyris's eyes narrowed coldly at him as his words fell upon her ears.

"What...did...you...say?" She growled lightly, taking a menacing step towards him.

Uh-oh.
Tyris had already took the first step, and usually, for a giant, that's all it took before they already start to cast thier big shadow over you. Still, Jack couldn't help but be frank, even if it was in the face of death, herself.

"Just saying....I...couldn't help but notice..."
Jack wouldn't back away too soon, not until Tyris got too close.

Maybe Jack should have taken that moment to get out of there. Pity for him Tyris had advanced right up to him.

She would growl again and move to grab for his arm, trying to drag him over to the practice ring and fling him right up into it, then slide in after him, a rather angry fire burning in her eyes now.

"Whoa!"
Jack's body flew like a helpless doll above and over the ropes, then landing squarely into the ring.

"Ouch...guess we don't even need a bell for this one..."

Jack quickly rolled to his feet and stood at the ready. The raging beast had awokened in all of it's hellish fury....just a mere butt comment.

"C'mon, it was a compliment!"

Something told Jack that reasoning with the beast would be useless.

And oooh, would Jack be right, Tyris glaring at him as she climbed to her feet. She would advance towards him with a cold fury on her face now, and once she was up close she would let out a loud, beastial roar, aiming a sudden, hard punch right for his face.

"Damn, she's fast! C'mon, Jack..think!"

Recalling the basics of his Close Quaters Combat training during his teenage years, Jack would swiftly duck under her building-beam sized arm, and make his way behind her. If he successfully made his way behind, he would attempt to grab at her ankles and swoop the woman off of her feet.

Tyris would be taken a little aback from Jack's speed, whiffing completely on her punch and trying to turn back to face him as he moved behind her. Pity for her though, Jack was already grabbing for her ankles, and a swift tug later would find the amazon landing on her hands and knees on the mat, letting out another beast-like cry before starting to get back up.

"Crap! She's getting up!"

Looking at Tyris get up was like watching a lion waking up from a long nap. This was the last thing Jack wanted. Still behind her, Jack would quickly look for a means to get her neck tucked underneath his arm while holding onto her free hand with the other, completing his Dragon Sleeper.
That is, if Jack was quick enough. He would seriously doubt that she'd let him keep his hold on for too long.

As Jack came forward to try and lock in his Dragon Sleeper though, Tyris would be ready, going to suddenly ram her elbow straight back towards his gut as he grabbed for her.

"Arrh!"

It was like a comet had crashed into his ribs and stole every last bit of oxygen from his lungs. Jack fell over, clutching his sides. Was he bleeding?
No...nothing was there just as he checked his lips for blood. His ribs hurt like hell though.
Speaking of hell, Jack could perfectly guess that there was an angry amazon who was probably towering over him from behind right this moment.
