Jack vs Maxxy

The stadium went quiet as snow gently fell around them. Some of the younger audience members whispered among themselves, exited for what was to come next. When the music kicked in to gear, Jack flew into the air, waving happily to the fans. He flew around the stadium, even swooping low to score  few high fives from the guys and gals below. Content that the crowd was pumped up, he floated over to the ring where he stayed, hovering on his staff waiting for his new opponent. He heard a few provocative whistles which cause him to blush slightly. His last match went in an....unexpected direction but he was ready for the next fight!

Maxxy's entrance was far less grandiose. She simply walked to the ring with her hood over her head. She entered the ring and took it off, anxious for her first official fight.

Jack gave Maxxy a smile, extending a hand to her, "Heya! How are you doing? Ready for an awesome match?"

His usual enthusiasm was plain as day, with his smile wide and his eyes bright.

Maxxy grinned widely, accepting Jack's handshake with her own. "Yeah! I'll try not to wreck ya too hard!", she joked.

Jack gave a cheery laugh, setting his staff outside the ring. After adjusting his hoodie, he made his way to the center of the ring as the bell rang. Going for the lockup, Jack aimed a kick into Maxxy's exposed side.

"As long as everyone is having fun." he chuckled.

Maxxy was slow going into the tie-up and wasn't expecting the quick transition into the kick. She doubled over with a laugh. "Nice one!" She lifted her arms once she caught her breath, once again challenging Jack to a tie-up.

Jack liked this troll's spirit, and he happily accepted the lock up. He gave a grunt of surprise at her strength, though it was to be expected. Trolls were a stronger species after all. Jack tried to keep her arms tied up as he nailed her twice more in the side.

Maxxy gritted her teeth and powered through the additional kicks as she lifted him into the air before dropping him flat on his back. Afterwards, she smiled again. "You're pretty fast. Like, it's almost irritating."

Jack grunted as he was lifted almost effortlessly by Maxxy, before being slammed onto his back. The spirit grinned, fighting through the pain, winking at the troll.

"I get that all the time." he said, doing a nimble flip onto his feet. Running towards her, he dropped at the last second, sliding between her legs. He leaped up behind her and nailed her in the small of the back with a well placed dropkick.

"Surprise!" he laughed.

The well-placed strike knocked the wind out of Maxxy and left her speechless. She coughed as she attempted to catch her breath.
