Rika vs Malicia (Practical vs Sensual Grappling)

Rika didn't have much choice but, to instantly releas her from the armbar. Malicia had managed to get ontop of Rika but, Rika had managed to wrap her legs around her waist. her legs weren't too strong so it wouldn't be as efffective. Rika also attempted to make the grab for the second wrist, already incontrol of one of them from earlier.

Wriggling as she lay across her opponent, Malicia couldn't break free of the legs encircling her body, though they were more restrictive than painful. However, she did manage to brush aside Rika's free arm; Malicia sent her hand up to grab a fistful of her opponent's dark hair, which she would use to pull Rika's head up and slam it back against the mat.

"Ugh!" Rika grunted as her head was slammed against the mat. Rika released her body scissors but, refused to let go of her wrist. With both of Malicia's arms preoccupied, Rika would send a palmstrike to her chin.

"Hairpulling, huh?" Rika said a little annoyed.

The ginger-haired girl emitted an anguished gargle as Rika's hand drove up into her chin, head snapping backwards at the force of the blow. No longer constrained by the waist scissors, but still gripped by the wrist, Malicia was knocked from her dominant position and fell sideways onto the mat. The two fighters were now lying side-by-side on the canvas, arms entwined, their position resembling a lovers' embrace, though their mentality far removed from this. Malicia was reeling from her adversary's attacks, desperately wanting to escape or contain the Japanese girl, but seemingly unable to do either. She curled her supple legs up into an almost foetal postion, hoping to kick out and push Rika's body away from her.

Rika cringed as the kick had pushed her away. She let go of the girl's wrist which left a red mark. She rolled away and got into a loose stance, her eyes carefully assesed her opponent's actions so far.

"Not bad, i haven't seen you around is this... you're first match here?" Rika said cheerfully trying to be a little more friendly.

Scheming Malicia flashed a thin smile back. "Yes, it is my first match, so you'll have to go easy on me, I'm afraid." (Worth a try, she thought). The slender redhead slowly circled her opponent, keeping her distance, glad to be free of Rika's attacks for now. No longer fancying her chances in a straight grapple, she knew she'd have to dig in to her bag of dirty tricks (which, for now, was metaphorical) to have any real hope. "You're clearly an expert though" Malicia continued, faking sincerity. "You've obviously done a lot of karate!!" she added, deliberately playing dumb, waiting to see if Rika was duped or indeed angered by this act...

Rika sighed, she knew Malicia was acting but, what was she supposed to. Malicia her self hadn't done anything to anger her. A martial artist needed to remain calm at all times, this was especically true to Rika. Focus was everything.

"Alright, I'll take it easy on you" Rika said reluctantly, "Pft... you wish it was karate you were up against acouple of fancy kicks and punches are nothing compared to what i can do."

Malicia chewed her lip thoughtfully as she circled her opponent; winning any mind-games with this girl would be a stern challenge indeed. Still, the dull aches in her pink-skinned body served as a reminder that she needed to be careful here. Closing in on Rika, the redhead moved to throw a rather sloppy left hook - but this was actually a feint to create space for her real attack, a vicious stamp down onto Rika's toes.

Rika focused on Malicia, she anticipated the left hook. She atempted to capture her wrist again.
"A feint?" Rika said suprised,
She hissed as Malicia had stomped on her toes.
"Owww..." she howled, as she retaliated with a palm strike to Malicia's chest.

Malicia grunted as she took the blow to the chest, but she was still pleased to have finally caught the Japanese fighter out. Building on this, she grabbed at Rika's extended striking arm, aiming to whip her into the ropes and nail her with a kick on the rebound.
