Daigo's long battling experience has made him skilled with many styles of combat: according to the kind of opponent and/or match, he might either fight with bare hands, or using the sword in its sheath (basically like if it was a kendo stick). Not eager to take his opponents' life, he won't draw his blade out of the sheat if he can choose.

Story: Daigo was a young samurai who lived in the Chubu region, the so-called Japanese Highlands. At the age of 22, he had a strange love story with a Yuki Onna (snow woman), which didn't end well, in more than one way: angry at Daigo's decision to resume his journeys around the world instead of settling down with her, the snow woman put a curse on Daigo: "Because you love travelling more than anything, your journeys will never come to an end... unless you lose your head...in a way or another".
The Yuki Onna hope was that one day Daigo would come back to her, tired of a long immortal life. Well almost immortal, because Daigo can only die if his head is parted from his body.
From that moment Daigo crossed several countries, becoming a soldier of fortune who fought plenty of battles, but could not find his final rest in any case.
In spite of his apparent young age, Daigo has lived a long life, and he is now travelling across the legendary realms of Gaia in search of a way to get free from the Yuki-Onna's curse.

Personality: Bearing a curse for more than 300 years is not the best thing to keep your mood cheerful, but Daigo keeps his original brave and generous attitude, always ready to lend a helpful hand if needed, but he abandoned the illusion of being a "hero" several years ago, only taking what he thinks is the right path without imposing on the others if he can.
In spite of his cursed immortality, Daigo can still get wounded, feel pain, and pass out like any other human. But even in that case, his body regenerates after a good rest. Cutting off his head seems to be the only way to really kill him.

Appearance: Daigo is both a warrior and a ranger at Gaia, usually wearing a light armor or, more frequently, some brownish leather clothings. He often bears a katana or a heavier two-handed sword.

Fun fact: Daigo's eyes were originally dark-brown, they turned into icy-blue when the scorned Yuki Onna threw her curse onto him.
