The Japanese Way [FWC]

The crowd was hushed as they waited for what they thought would be the next match of the evening. As the lights dimmed, [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1fTbDJiyrM:1fxd1mz8]famiiar song[/url:1fxd1mz8] began to play. The crowd roared as the spotlights shown at the arena entrance. Out from the backstage area came the former champ Akashi Tanikaze. She raised her fist high in the air. "NIIIPOOOOOOON!" She screamed and raised her fist.

She clacked down the ramp. She was dressed in grey kimono embroidered with red tomoe. She revealed a generous portion of her cleavage. She was wearing a pair of black hakama pants and geta sandals. She entered the ring and went to the turnbuckle. She raised her arms in the air and the crowd roared. "Hello! Everyone!" Akashi said into a microphone, bowing deeply. "As you know, the Friction World Cup tournament is coming up soon! I'd love to bring home the cup for Japan..." She paused to hear the crowd roar. "I've been asked but!" The crowd was not so pleased with Akashi's but. "I've seen the list of participants. There's been a lot of rookies selected for the event. Nearly half the participants will be making their debut!"

Akashi raised her eyebrows. "And while I'd love to try my hand, I do not think it would be fair to represent Japan only to face off against a rookie field. Wouldn't that look very dishonorable?" She asked. "So, instead, I've decided to give my entrance ticket to a very new Japanese rookie! We've already started to train and I think she'll do a very good job representing the home team in this tournament!"

Akashi stepped towards the side of the ring where the ramp was. "Please welcome, making her AFW debut, representing Japan, Takiyama Miyabi!" Akashi swung her hand out towards the entrance and urged the crowd to cheer on.

Things were moving so fast for Miyabi! She had only met Akashi and begged the legendary sumo woman to train her a week or two earlier, and now, already, she was going to fight in the AFW arena! And in no ordinary fight, no! This was to be a battle between countries, a tournament where national pride and great honor were on the line. And better still, she had been granted this opportunity by Akashi, and would be acting as her idolâ€s surrogate in the competition! It was so wonderful!

Miyabi listened to Akashiâ€s brief speech from just backstage. When she heard her name called, the young schoolgirl-turned-sumo would emerge at the top of the ramp, spotlights circling around the arena before converging on her. She raised her fists in the air and let out a long, loud war whoop. Miyabi was wearing a pair of sandals and a vibrant green kimono embroidered with red flowers, showing off some generous cleavage in conscious imitation of her new mentor. She made her way down the ramp to the ring, waving left and right to the crowd. She entered the ring and bounced over to Akashi, grinning from ear to ear and grabbing the veteran in a big, affectionate bearhug. <Thank you, Tanikaze-sama!> she sang. She would let go of Akashi and turn to the crowd again. <Thank you!> she called out, and then, a moment later, she would repeat it in English: “Thank you!”

She stepped toward the center of the ring, grabbing a microphone from an AFW staff member on her way. <Thank you! I feel so honored to be representing Japan in this tournament. I promise you all that I will make this nation proud!> Miyabi would slide out of her sandals, and then, she would undo her kimono, letting it slide off of her body. She would fold it quickly and set it down on the mat, and then, straightening up to full height, she would give the audience a good glimpse of herself, battle-ready in nothing but her navy blue mawashi. She wanted them to know that they were entrusting their national pride with a very capable sumo girl. She raised her fists in the air and yelled out loudly again, stomping a foot and shaking the ring.

Akashi smiled as Miyabi came down the ramp and gave her words of encouragement. She bowed the the girl and then raised her hands so that the crowd would cheer for Miyabi. After she was finished and the crowd settled down, Akashi raised the microphone to her lips. "Please cheer for her as if you would cheer for me! Let's try and make sure that Summer Splash stays HOME this year!"

Akashi then turned and motioned towards Miyabi. <Please, give everyone a demonstration, Takiyama-san!>

Miyabi basked in the cheers of the crowd. She waved her hands in the air appreciatively, calling out “Thank you” again and again, in both Japanese and in English. She knew that most of these fans who were cheering for her were devoted followers of Akashi, and she was touched that not only did her sensei give her such a fantastic opportunity, but her senseiâ€s fans embraced her wholeheartedly. She would try to make all of them proud!

When Akashi suggested that she give the crowd a demonstration, Miyabi paused for a moment, bringing a finger up to her lips as she considered what sort of moves or holds she could demonstrate to the crowd. Well, the first choice was an obvious one. “Okay!” Miyabi said, rubbing her hands together as she would slide her legs a little further apart, squatting down a little. She would lift one leg up high, then bring it crashing back down onto the mat, shaking the ring with the force of the stomp. She would repeat the move with her other leg, bringing it up and then bringing it slamming back down. She performed the sumo stomp with all the energy and emotion she could muster.

That completed, Miyabi would straighten back up to her full height. She slapped her own belly a couple of times as she turned around, giving the audience a good look at her. She slapped her bum a couple of times, too. She tried to think of what else to show them. She turned back to her sensei. <What else shall I demonstrate, sensei? I think I might need your assistance in showing them some of my real wrestling maneuvers…> She blushed and giggled.

Akashi nodded in approval of Miyabi's sumo stomp. Her attempt at a dohyou-iri was good for her first try and she would only get better. The crowd also seemed to approve and Akashi raised an eyebrow at the younger Japanese girl But she was eager to keep going.

Akashi stepped forward and looked at Miyabui. <Ok, Let's see what you can do!> She said to the rookie. She stepped in front of her. <What would you like to demonstrate?> Akashi asked, grinning widely.

Akashi seemed to approve of her stomp, a fact which heartened Miyabi greatly. The audience seemed to approve of it, too, which was a simply wonderful bonus. The young sumo trainee felt very special right now, receiving not only the attention of her idol, but also of an entire nationâ€s worth of wrestling fans.

Miyabi waved to all of them again, then turned to her kimono-clad sensei, pondering what she could demonstrate with Akashi. While she had learned much already, there were still many techniques and tactics she did not know. She should not try to reach for some lofty goal she wasnâ€t sure she could yet attain—she should dazzle the crowd with something simple but awesome!

<I want to demonstrate my power and my toughness, sensei!> she said, putting her hands on her hips and smiling. <And my endurance, too!>

Akashi nodded and then took a step forward. <Yosh!> She said, pumping her fist. She spread her legs and took a spot in front of Miyabi. <Then do as you will, Takiyama-san! I'm ready!> She encouraged with a wave of her hand.

Miyabi bounced in place giddily, her large breasts swinging up and down as she jumped. <Yeehehehe! Okay, sensei! Iâ€m ready, too! Iâ€ll show everyone what Iâ€ve got!> she replied. She would land for the final time with a loud thud, before spreading her feet apart and squatting down a little, ready to charge at her teacher.

<Tell me what you think!> Miyabi added at the last second, hoping that, if she did anything that could use correcting, Akashi would point it out and help her fix it. Then, with a yell, Miyabi would charge, throwing her hands out in front of her and barreling straight into her teacher. It wasnâ€t the most graceful move, but she wanted to show the crowd that she was strong enough to push the legendary Akashi. Obviously, she didnâ€t expect to knock Akashi down or force the veteran sumo wrestler back more than one or two steps—but even just a tiny bit of progress would prove, to both herself and to the crowd, that she had what it took to be great in a year or two! Once she had collided with Akashi, she would look to demonstrate some of her other abilities...

Akashi would have worn her mawashi if she had known she was going to get into a sumo match with the young Miyabi. However, she braced as best as she could in her geta sandals and when Miyabi charged, Akashi was ready. She lowered her hands and turned her head to receive Miyabi's charge, the awkwardness of her outfit forcing her to stumble while she grabbed onto Miyabi's sash.

She gripped it tightly, flinging her sandals off and recovering her balance as she bent her knees. She was pretty sure that if she wanted to, she could dump Miyabi on the ground but this was Miyabi's show. She held firmly onto Miyabi's mawashi but kept herself in a tight defensive position, letting Miyabi show what she could do while their bellies and breasts mashed together. Akashi held a stern face with a playful flicker in her green eyes.

Miyabi slammed into Akashi with considerable force, and, to her great excitement, she was able to force her sensei to stumble back a few steps. Granted, Akashi wasnâ€t in her mawashi and probably hadnâ€t been expecting to do any wrestling, but Miyabi still felt like it showed the crowd that she had potential. If she were to actually wrestle Akashi, sure, she wouldnâ€t stand a chance. They knew that. She knew that. Akashi knew that. But she was still young, with her whole career ahead of her, and being able to make one of AFWâ€s greatest wrestlers of all time budge even a little bit was a victory for the young sumo girl.

Catching sight of the playful flicker in Akashiâ€s eyes as the veteran grabbed onto her sash and halted her advance, Miyabi would grin and keep pushing against her mentor. <Okay! Hold on, sensei!> Miyabi said, as she would wrap her arms around Akashi. If pushing the sumo woman was a good way to show off her strength, then lifting her up would be even more impressive still. Miyabi took a deep breath and then would lift Akashi upwards, taking a couple of steps back to balance herself as she held her sensei in the air for a few seconds. She wouldnâ€t try to do any sort of wrestling moves—as inexperienced as she was, that could be very dangerous, for both herself and Akashi. She just wanted to show the audience the sort of raw strength that, under Akashiâ€s expert tutelage, could be a key part of her transformation into a championship-caliber wrestler.
