History: The twisted man who goes by the alias 'Belial' has taken every measure to forgo his real name. Equally, cautious steps have been made to obscure his past from the general public, but the authorities believe him to hail from a privileged, trust-funded upbringing. His immense wealth made sinking his fangs into the criminal underworld a simple task, where he initially operated as a sleazy club owner running illicit casino bets. But his real business venture began when he received an invitation to attend an underground wrestling match. Seeing the prospects of spectators betting on the outcomes of fights made him realise that there was significant profit to be made in this area. Thus he organised his own underground fighting scene. The number of wrestlers were sparse to begin with, so Belial saw value in positioning himself as one...no. Not just 'one'. THE 'one' to beat. He sought the perfect personal trainer. He followed the strictest diet. Learned from the best. All so he could become a force in the underground arena. He quickly earned a reputation for becoming undefeatable, and the money flowed like water into his casino.

As his own casino grew, he acquired additional clubs under his umbrella, creating more opportunities for underground wrestling and business ventures. Belial found himself drawn in, further and further, to the intoxicating thrill of wrestling. He had started for the money, but it soon dawned upon him that he yearned to be under the spotlight, to beat worthless opponents into quivering submission and embarrassing defeats. It was like a drug to him that he simply couldn't get enough of. With the bodies of countless jobbers pinned under him, he made open challenges to the audience members, luring them in with promises of riches if they could defeat him. The few that stepped up did not succeed, of course. And eventually, Belial grew bored as every match fell into a predictable routine. He had more money than he knew what to do with, but that was no longer enough to satisfy him. He desired a thrill. A challenge. Something that wouldn't break so easily. He began to research prominent wrestling leagues he could attend, ones that would allow him to continue his illicit business activities on the side. After all, money is always useful. And so he arrived at AFW...seeking debauchery and passion like no other.
