Nekketsu Title Match: Ryan Knight (C) vs Otoha Okiura

Ryan was no stranger to taking head damage but this was getting to be a bit different now, he was feeling himself dazed and reeling. About to break? Well the fact of the matter was that he was open for more punishment there and the challenger to his gold would seek to strike while the iron was hot, Ryan sensed her bolting towards him and his body on reaction would tense up. Which would only play into the favour of the challenger Otoha there.

Because the next thing the Nekketsu Champ knew Otoha wasn't leaping at him for an elaborate strike as she had done so previously, she busted out a DDT and made him eat the canvas like it was nothing! His head was spiked on the mat thanks to the momentum that his opponent had developed there, there was a loud thud noise and his body lay still briefly before eventually twitching. Ryan's brain struggled to process the double whammy that had just occurred here and he seemed to be very well possibly out for the count here!

'WHOOOOOA--!' The crowd leapt to their feet with a cacophonous cheer, amazed at what they just witness- Not only had the challenger planted the champion on his head with extreme vigor, she had done so with a stylish flair, stunning the audience with her incredible finesse- And from a rookie, no less!

If Otoha had time to sit back and drink in the moment, she would. Unfortunately however, she couldn't afford herself that luxury- She had a belt to win! Without hesitation, she scrambled over to the fallen Paragon, draping her body over him and reaching over to hook his heavy leg up in the air with some difficulty...!

Ryan felt pain ringing throughout his ears, this wasn't something he was unfamiliar with to be honest. In fact it was part and parcel of being a Paragon like him, the lad knew that things were looking dire however with the sheer head pain that he was feeling. Yeah, he was needing a stiff drink after all this. He was vaguely aware of his surroundings at this point in time but could feel that he was being shifted around there, the lad's leg was being lifted up.

The Paragon could feel that this was an unnatural position, the ref would slap their hand on the mat for the one count. Ryan could feel his chance in this match slipping away, he was going to have dig down deep. The Nekketsu Champ felt like it was going away from him......Two was reached by the ref.

That activated the neurons in his brain. Ryan's face gave a snarl of effort and he would give a loud roar as he'd make to tighten up his biceps as hard as he could, seeking to break the pin attempt by Otoha and possibly damn near yanking her right off from him with automatously activated authority to boot!

Otoha couldn't help but hold her breath as she pinned Ryan down- She felt little resistance from him, save for a meager groan. She might well and truly have this...!

"One...!"

The rookie shut her eyes and bit down on her lip. All she coulr do was hope that this was enough- Hope that in two seconds time, her hand would be raised high, and she would be declared the new Nekkatsu champion after a dominant display...

"Two...!"

"GYAGH--!" Suddenly, Otoha's hopes were dashed away as she felt the back of her leotard being tugged on, a roar filling her ears as she was ripped right off the Paragon! She was forced to roll backwards to her knees, eyes wide with shock...! "W-What...?!"

Ryan had to dig down deep there to get out of this situation, the Brit would feel his muscles be sore and numb as the pain in his temple noggin would trickle down through his nervous system. But he gritted his teeth and broke the pinfall split seconds away from the third count, he didn't hear no bell as the saying went. The Paragon would roll slowly to his right side there, panting quietly as he looked at Otoha. He felt his warrior spirit burning within him still, the Paragon felt his eternal fire stoking in his gut.

The Paragon would make to grab the ropes and heft himself up there, he breathed hard and heard that those in attendance were fired up over this bout. The pair having given their all in this bout. Ryan would lean on the ropes for a few seconds and wipe the sweat off his brow. Then he'd simply stand upright as he gazed at Otoha and pointed a finger at her, instantly the audience would yell "Yoouuuuuuu!"

Suddenly an aura would wash over the ring, clearly displaying from the Paragon there. It was as if.........It was as if Britain itself had just stood up and addressed Otoha! Ryan's eye stood barely unblinking as he would feel it in his muscles. The might of a champion!

Otoha was quick to raise her head to look at the Paragon as he stood back up... Before he pointed straight at her, prompting the crowd to cheer out with a deafening chant! The display caught the rookie off-guard, her breath hitching in her throat as she locked eyes with Ryan, where in his gaze she could practically feel the scorching flames of the fire within him lapping at her skin! She stared wide-eyed and mouth agape, seemingly intimidated by the daunting pose...

... Before she simply huffs and pushes herself to her feet, clenching her fists tight and taking a wide, determined stance!

"Show me the might of a champion!"

The wrestling term known as "Hulking up." could very much be applied in this situation, Ryan was usually known to be a stoic and focused fight in the ring. Yet here with his precious title on the line it was only natural that he'd feel himself be driven to the brink, Otoha was witness to a rare site with the Paragon himself having risen up to unleash the pride of Britain upon the challenger for their sacred Nekketsu title here.

Still it seemed that she wasn't going to be wavering here, good. It made for a better telling of the story after the fact!

"Then so be it." Ryan would bluntly state, he would waste no time in striding right towards Otoha. It wasn't a run, it was a fast walk. It was as if the country of the UK itself simply stood up and moved to its target and the Paragon would seek to rain a volley of mixed rights and lefts at her, letting the full force of the united kingdom come crashing down upon Otoha and it would be up to her to try and survive this storm lest the tide turn against her!

The sight of the Paragon standing tall and striding forward would be daunting for anybody, especially a rookie who had only just debuted- But Otoha stood her ground, beckoning for him to attack. Her eyes narrowed in pure focus as she steeled her body, inhaling air through her nostrils gently. If she wanted to win this, she'd have to preserve through this trial set forward by the champion...

As soon as Ryan cocked his fist back and swung, Otoha stepped to the side with gusto, a picture perfect dodge! But before she could even think of retaliating, she had to weave past another fist, and another, and another- One would have thought the two of them were expert pugilists the way they danced around each other! It was simply a matter of time before one would prevail- Whether Ryan's honed experience or Otoha's raw talent would earn the other the advantage...

And that's when Otoha slipped- She moved her head just a fraction too little, and the Paragon's knuckle grazed her cheek. It was a minor error, but with these high stakes, the adrenaline coursing through her veins, it felt far more dire for just that split second. "Ghh--!" Her breath caught in her throat as she flinched and locked up, leaving the rookie open...!

Ryan was on it now, he was raining down onto Otoha with reckless abandon now. It came from putting one's title and worth on the line that Ryan was drawing from here, his face was a sheet of steel that gleamed in the light of battle. He was testing Otoha's guard and it was clear the Paragon knew how to throw hands just as well as being able to grab with them, still it seemed the challenger was able to get her guard up.

But Ryan's instincts were telling him that he was getting there, he just had to chip away a bit, then a bit more.........

Before long he felt that hand graze her cheek and the breath caught in her throat, that was it. Ryan smelled the blood in the water as it was. The Paragon's one eye widened and he'd bring his right arm back in the hopes of lunging straight at Otoha in the hopes of nailing her with a clothesline to try and take the challenger's head right off if she didn't duck!
