She will painfully stretch their arms and shoulders for a few seconds before letting go and shooting her feet out, sending them flying into the air and crashing to the ground.

Personality: Mai is a friendly and beautiful face and is brimming with confidence. As a model and someone who handles 'perverts' on a daily basis, she is used to being both in the spotlight and being the target of lecherous oglers. Though she can get embarrassed, she is used to this sort of thing and will smile through even the most embarrassing Otaku. She tries her best to keep a smile through any situation and always has a positive outlook on life.

She tries to make every experience fun and entertaining and because of this encourages others to join in. She's a hard worker and when necessary will really put her nose to the grind stone. She's also very loyal and easy to be around and befriend.


Past/History:
Mai had always been a little geeky growing up. She developed later than most and had more friends who were boys than girls. She enjoyed their games, hobbies etc and found that she appreciated being 'one of the guys' However, when Mai developed, she really developed and suddenly the boys that hung around her wanted to do more than trade manga collections. Girls, who had made fun of her during her time as a tom boy now had scorn for her as she was doubly able to capture the attention of boys.

Knowing that she had a talent for beauty and a love for all things Otaku, she got into modeling at an early age. Going to conventions as a 'pin up doll' was a great way to both get noticed and get free tickets into the conventions. As she gained in popularity, she expanded herself to bigger and better things. Getting an offer to do a bit part in an anime series, she jumped at the chance. There she had met some of the up and coming voice actresses including Chigusa Yuuki who had been the main voice of the series she was bit parting on. The anime was a surprising hit and at the cons, she became not only a visual attraction but many of the otakus would come to greet her as a seiyuu.

Soon she became a sensation and had her own Fan club. After that she was getting even more parts including the starring role of a new mecha called Mecha Neko Fight! After this, she hit it big and became an otaku sensation, touring the cons and becoming one of the leading 'Otaku queens'.

After putting out an album and doing some more anime, her popularity started to wane and she knew she needed something new to spark interest. She remembered her old friend Chigusa and gave her a call. After hooking up again she found out that she had joined the Wrestle Angels league. She had not liked the idea of wrestling but she had scraped with the boys growing up. While she was getting ready to join, she met Chigusa's manager Thomas Drake. Seeing the success he had brought Chigusa in the ring, she signed with him.

Though she was going for name recognition, Drake suggested that she actually dress up as her famous character. Clad in a robotic looking one piece suit and a fluffy tail and ears, she came out as the Mecha-Neko Mai and was a huge sensation. After the WA league folded, Mai left the scene going back to the Otaku circuit. Having nominal fame, she wondered if she would sink back into mediocrity but that is when Drake unveiled something that would solidify her as one of the top specialized models in Japan and beyond.

A new airline was opening called Otaku Air. It was design to fly various otaku's to conventions in style. Mai was going to be the spokeswoman for the new airline and serve as the flagship's head flight attendant. With a new album cut to be used as in flight music, her image emblazoned on.

She couldn't keep up and the lifestyle was really fun. It was everything she hoped for but after a while it became more tiresome than when she was in the ring wrestling. Missing her friends and wanting to try something different, Drake told her how Team Eclipse had entered AFW. She signed up right away!

Fun facts:
-After she became a voice acting sensation, Mai managed to land the lead role for Giant Queen Sakura. It was her second biggest hit behind Mecha Neko Fight!

-Though Mai has put out two albums, she has never been as famous for her singing work alone. She only ever played one live gig for a special convention/concert at the Tokyo Dome but she was the hit of the con. She hopes to go on tour some day as an opening act for Eclipse.

-Although Mai didn't write the music for her entrance song "NOtaku no Love!" She wrote the lyrics and did the vocals herself. Her newest single OTAKAWAII has seen even greater success than NOtaku no Love!

-Mai knows that her fluffy tail and ears make her look more like a fox or wolf than cat but she doesn't let it get to her. She prefers to be thought of as a cat girl and when she is questioned she just smiles and says she is a rare breed of cat called a fox cat.
