Vivienne Bouclier vs Senji Takijima - Entwined

Vivienne was nothing but ironclad in her defence, rolling on the mat was by nature tiring in and of itself. Hence why she'd often reserve herself in the opening stages of an exchange, to deny her opponent the chance to control her and hopefully tire themselves out. Regardless it seemed that Senji had more of an inkling as to how to go about this, the lad would apply some swift punches to her core. 

Vivienne grunted but took the hits there, she might have looked like a dainty maid but she was far tougher than one might initially assume. However she made to try and start moving now in response to this in the hopes of keeping him trapped, yet her fellow shark on the mat would managed to succeed in grabbing hold of Vivienne's arm as she made to shuffle around on the ground with him there. 

The next thing Vivienne knew she was getting trapped in place for a swift armbar attempt! The maid's instincts kicked in here, she gritted her teeth. This rabble was indeed very troublesome, yet Vivienne was also of a keen process that she could implement to get herself out of this predicament. She wasted no time in getting to a vertical base, underneath her dress lay a fair amount of muscle. It was time to excuse the guest, Vivienne grunted out loud as she'd seek to heft Senji up into the air and slam him down to the mat as hard as she possibly could to teach him some etiquette!

Again, it would seem that this submission attempt would be denied to him. He went up...and up...and he could sense the floor coming to meet him at an immense speed. Though, Senji decided to focus on trying to extend her arm. However, that did not work out in the way he intended. Her slam had broken his grip, leaving Senji on his back in front of Vivienne. It wasn't painful enough to cause lasting damage, but it did break his grip before it could get too settled. He muttered out a curse, rare for a person of his disposition.

"Shit...."

What to do, then? He palmed the ground for support, lightly groaning as he flipped himself onto his stomach despite the possibility of his rear being taken. Though, Senji thought the transition would happen too fast for her to capitalize. Should she do so, then Senji would be delayed in a defense since both his hands were on the ground, muscles releasing power as to help Senji get back to his feet.


If the Defender was too slow, then Senji got up and turned around to face her again. As a simple showing, Senji was not very well versed in kicks. He hadn't seen much need for them since punches served a similar purpose. Therefore, he only managed to shoot a straightened leg into her core as to bury his boot in it, so to speak. Now, his gameplan was to stay standing. If Vivienne wanted to go back to the ground, then Takijima remained confident that he could defend himself there. He was pretty sure the crowd was still entertained even if he wasn't exactly there to please them. Senji was just here for a good time, chance to win, and a paycheck for continuing to put his body through pain it likely would be better off without. Continuing about his plan, he vaguely had something planned out for future use involving the turnbuckle. No, Senji did not intend to jump off it.....

Vivienne was starting to get a clearer and clearer assessment of this guy, he knew the mat game quite well. Enough to make the maid more than a bit concerned about being a shark on the ground too, still the rules of engagement required her to gain a submission over him. 

No matter, Vivienne never shirked away from heavy labours and this would be no different. Besides she reasoned that she got her point across that should Senji wish to claim dominance over on the ground she'd certainly make sure his work was cut out for him there as she scrambled back to the mat there. Still it seemed her opponent was wanting to try and work on the standup game here, as he rushed in for a kick there. The blow could connect there, yet ever up to her name the dutiful defender would tighten her core and under her dress her decently sized abs took the kick with an audible grunt. Yet Vivienne didn't buckle there albeit she took a step back. 

"Hnhg! I missed a spot!" Vivienne would hiss out, nevertheless Senji's blow had hurt yet the maid had managed to grip the leg to take advantage of his apparent lack of experience in this area of the strike game. The French lady would seek to slam an elbow right into his knee cap, Senji better scramble out of this as best he could before Vivienne got another hard blow into that sensitive spot of the limb!

Senji was starting to get a feeling about her too. Vivienne was good at both the stand up and ground game, as opposed to those who were only skilled at one or the other. The young man raised one eyebrow at his leg burying into her core. However, something was off. It hadn't returned to help him stand as he'd wanted. She'd caught it. At the fast blow to his knee, Senji's face contorted into a twist of pain that made him try to shirk away from her.

In a bid to counter, it was clear he had to get his leg out of her hands. Senji went to bring both his hands to the upper half of his airborne, aiming to simply yank it out of her grasp. If that were to free himself, a low grumble came out of his throat as he put weight on it.

["She did not break it."], He thought to himself.

Still felt like a hot pain firing up his knee and indicating to his nerves that the entire body had taken damage, as was the purpose of feeling pain. Time to take that next step earlier than expected, then.

He ducked low, lowering his stance into a slight crouch. Then, he charged forward. As he presumably slammed into Vivienne's midsection, Senji put his arms around her back in order to prevent the two from toppling over. With a noticeable delay, he then tried to push them both into the corner as to slam Vivienne's rear into the turnbuckle. To finalize his transition, Senji got off her and back up to eye level. He moved to drive his left knuckles into where he assumed the general area of her liver was, aiming to cause a good amount of damage there. His right fist soon followed...going to soar right into her belly in order to work on Vivienne's core in a negative fashion. How would she get out of this....with Senji pounding at her middle repeatedly.

Vivienne would admit the stand up game was something that she wasn't as adept in as she'd like, it hadn't been addressed as much in her practise. As after all she was taught that all almost all fights ended up on the ground at some point hence her main preference there, still the maid did make it a point to try and brush up on your vital strike spots and figured that trying to numb Senji's kneecap was a good way to be going about it there if his reactions were anything to go by there.

If anything it did display that Vivienne was still more than capable of holding her own in this exchange, enough to seemingly make Senji take notice and decide to push the aggression there as he made to shove Vivienne in there and got her into the corner as she got embraced not for a takedown but for a hard carry to the corner. The maid tried to shark him onto the mat there only to be kept standing, just in time for a blow to the liver!

That area was a place that just about anyone would get badly damaged by and Vivienne was no different, she let out a loud yelp of pain as her body surged with pain there as she went numb. Senji then started working on the stomach area of the maid. The dutiful defender would abide by her moniker there as she gritted her teeth and got her arms covering up that area as she was stuck up with her back clear against the wall here!

A bit of pity ringed through his mind and panged on his heart at the sounds of Vivienne's pain but he steeled it at the next thought of The Defender likely not feeling too bad if she were to catch him in a submission. Senji's fists slammed into her guard. Covered knuckles against clothed forearms. And it would seem that for now, they were in an impasse. Senji stopped his rampant tirade of strikes, thinking of something more complex to treat her to. He gave a low exhale, planting his body in a crouched position again.

After that, he went to ram his body up against hers in a forward direction. His right hand went to the back of her left thigh, while the left hand went to the back of her right thigh. Then he tried to lift her onto the turnbuckle and promptly turned around after a notable delay. If it succeeded, he thrust forward in order to take Vivienne down onto the ground back first to attempt to cause a small amount of damage to her back.

Senji, after the rather hard landing, steadily yet somewhat quickly went to sit up between her legs. Naturally, he thought Vivienne would recover quickly and enclose her legs around his waist. That meant he was focused more on possible attacks coming from her rather than actually passing the guard. It was in the back of his mind, though he could only commit to a few scenarios at a time. Regardless, Takijima was rather good for a blue belt based on his performance against his opponent. Personally, he felt more comfortable either in closed guard or using it. It was easier to predict what they would do, also justifying his use of the Double/Single Leg Takedowns consistently. That, and he wished to not stand on his numbed leg.

Vivienne was reeling here, but she was far, far from out of it. True to her form Vivienne might have had her wall damaged but Senji was going to be needing to do more here, but it seemed that he was starting to get the picture. He'd need to up the ante and the offence in order to realllly start overwhelming Vivienne's defences here, which was why the lad seemed to be taking her upwards into the corner there.

Still he was taking his sweet time, giving the maid a chance to at least re-collect herself there and catch her breath as he shuffled about with her legs there. *He must be trying to fling me from here, brace yourself Vivienne!* the dutiful defender quickly comprehended, sure enough Senji decided to try and go for a sort of takedown seen in wrestling, yet from the top rope dragging the maid down to her back!

"Gugh!" Vivienne winced as pain shot through her back there, still she managed to brace herself there as best she could. The pain also did something else, namely spark a drive in Vivienne. She'd dealt with this man's rudeness long enough! If the expression of actual annoyance was anything to go by, the maid's eyes would flare up as she sought to rally her offence here. Namely by simply lunging in and seeking to elbow Senji straight in the jaw, were she successful Vivienne would then try to followup with an attempt at a Guillotine Choke, the lad was in it now he'd be due some thorough cleaning!

Senji found himself then taking one to the jaw, cracking across his cheek before an arm brought his head down to the floor. Vivienne's arm then curled around his neck, making the young man gasp and sputter. The momentum of the match was ripped from his grasp and it exchanged hands just as quickly.

"Grrkkk--"

His struggles were reduced to squirming now. Senji was still somewhat fresh, and it'd take just a bit to temper him down for Vivienne to manipulate him easily. Senji intended to make her work for it though. As he couldn't really see at the moment, Takijima attempted to go for something else. He assumed that she would clinch it by locking her hands together somehow, otherwise the Guillotine wouldn't be as effective.

When she did, Senji endeavored to bring his hands near the point where she had brought her hands together. For the second action Senji tried to pull her fingers apart. He could worry about the guard on his waist later. If they'd been in an RNC, then his concerns would've been reversed. However in this scenario the actual chokehold was more important. In that case, he was completely focused on staying awake to escape the choke. While a nap did sound nice, that wasn't his goal at the moment. If the escape didn't make any progress, then Senji's energetic high would start faltering thus making his movements slower. That did not mean he was going to lose consciousness just yet, despite the aforementioned statements.

Vivienne was starting to feel rather irritated here to be perfectly honest, this guest had been proving to be quite troublesome and was starting to make progress in chipping down her wall of security. Needless to say Vivienne was quite irked at this turn of events and sought to promptly reassert herself thanks to that nagging pain in her back and spine there.

Still needless to say it was evident that Vivienne was losing her cool a bit here, the maid however still had her training and practise ingrained into her however and Senji was going to be reminded of this with her precise elbow shot followed by her locking the guillotine on there. It wasn't as tightly cinched in as Vivienne wanted, the pain from that tumble serving to remind her that even her mind wanted to move her body was taking a moment there. Still it was clear even now that Senji was feeling its effects and that was merely blood in the water, she felt him trying to pry at her fingers there, the subtle movements of hands upon hands there~

"Nhhhngn!" Vivienne hissed out in annoyance, she'd seek to writhe about in the hold while she sought to try and drag Senji away for the corner a bit shuffling her pert derriere on the mat as it was an enticing dance of grappling on full display here for all those in attendance~

Working at one technique applied wasn't enough. That much was obvious. A strained growl came from Senji's throat, teetering down into a defiant huff of something approaching dull acceptance of their current movement away from the ropes. He needed to break this damned guard before trying to raise his lower half to his left (her right) as a first move. It'd be easier to do with his hands not occupied, but the legs would have to do. He went to try to nestle his right knee into the inside of her left thigh in order to try pushing against it. If that went perfectly, then it might just provide enough force for her ankles to uncross and free himself. If it was completed, then he tried to swing that same right leg over in order to half-straddle her belly.

Now regarding the actual Guillotine! At the same time as his attempted guard escape, Senji's fingers managed to curl around her connected palms. With that done, more or less as planned, Senji put his strength to work by prying against the compression she was putting on his throat. Best case scenario, Vivienne's grip is compromised and she's forced to let go, leading to Takijima popping his head out.


If in such a similar situation as this, he usually elected to turtle up or defend his neck some other way. Given that he wasn't on the bottom as it should be, Senji couldn't do it on top of her. Vivienne was proving particularly frustrating but competitively delightful to go against. All that mattered now was that none of his opponents were able to utterly crush him, proving that he could keep up enough to fight the beautiful Defender. Senji couldn't afford to take her as a joke either. Presumably, the audience continued to watch the two struggle and put the other at their mercy. A guard break and the search for chokehold escape. What would she do in response?
