A FIRST TIME MEETING: KEVIN DEREK VS. RAFAEL VEGA

Hearing a solid and surprised grunt come out of Rafael has Kevin grinning from ear to ear as he gets the lighting bolt down and in a bad spot for the first time since the opening move of the match.

“GOTCHA”

Building some confidence as he keeps a loose grip on those toned brazilian legs just in case they are looking for trouble.  Working his way up his opponent’s body as quickly as possible until he is straddling Rafael’s legs and well on his way to stretching out on top of the guy.

“Do you like grapes?”

Continuing to move forward looking to get control of the speedsters arms so he can go to work on vining him with his legs.

Rafael feels Kevin climbing over him and pinning his legs down. "Hrggh!" he groans as he brings his arms up and grabs for Kevin;s shoulders to keep him at arms length. He bounces his hips up and tries to force his opponent off to one side, which is easier said than done when Kevin is forcing a grapevine.

"Unghh, really? That comment hurts more than your takedown" Rafael groans as he takes psychic damage from such a cheesy joke. Without his legs at his disposal being trapped under a larger opponent was not a great time. His only hope of coming out of this with an offense is to get control of Kevin's head, so Rafael sends his arm forward over Kevin's shoulder and tries to wrap around backwards to try and pull the guy's face down to a side headlock.

Occupied with getting his hooks into Rafael’s legs, Kevin finds his head snarred and pulled down against the Brazilian boys toned side.  Feeling his bicep trying to flex up against the back of his neck as he plays this forward in his mind.

“UNNGHH … decisions decisions”

Always reluctant to give up a tight grapevine, Kevin stays with his strategy knowing that if he is able to work his head free, it will set his oppponent up for one of his most deadly holds.

Moving his hands to try and pull Rafael’s grip free from his head now. Not finding much wiggle room … yet.

Looking on the bright side of things, Rafael pants as his tactic has stalled Kevin from progressing any further in his plan. Their legs were still caught together and that meant neither of them could escape from the other till the grapevine was eliminated. Kevin was feeling around his hold and would soon be able to figure his way out of it, so time was limited for him. A sheet of sweat had started to form on their bodies and Rafael was feeling his movements just barely start to slow.

"Let me make it easier for you!" Rafael tells his opponent as he thrusts his hips up and tries to roll the both of them. He figured that if he could at least end up on top, then he'd be the one able to control the flow of the grapevine, maybe even transition to a hold of his own.

An unexpected, crafty and all around smart move gets executed with the roll over attempt from his opponent.  Kevin is caught up with fighting the headlock when Rafael pulls the attempt and he flexes up a second too late to block the turn from going past the half way point.  From there momentum does the rest in slow motion.

“UNNGHHH …. “

No trash talk coming out of his mouth now as Kevin is in an unfamiliar spot and he fumbles with their locked legs trying to get back in control of things here.  His arms still fighting the headlock and he is very aware of Rafael’s higher position on his body giving his opponent the leverage advantage for the moment.  Feeling the Brazilian’s hard abs riding against his pecs.

Rafael buzzes with excitement as he rolls the two of them and lands himself a top positioning. Now he could work the grapevine to his own devices as the thing keeping Kevin trapped rather than the other way around.

"Hey boomer, you comfortable down there?" he decides to taunt as he pulls his looped arm around and tucks the wrist beneath Kevin's neck. He uses his free arm to grab his wrist and pull tightly, making the side headlock into a nice little guillotine choke. "By the way, this is the part where you tap out!" he taunts with a righteous grin.

Kevin's eyes widen as Rafael moves quickly to sink his arm in deeper against his neck to start working the choke in.  His chin digs down trying to block it as much as possible.  

"ACK! ... Holding on?"

Yelling out defiantly in response as he takes advantage of his legs outside position in the grapevine to kick them up and out fighting to unlock his ankles from around Rafael's calves to release the snare that is backfiring at the moment.  Resorting to unusual tactics for himself, Kevin drives 1, 2, 3 quick jabs into his opponent's exposed side hoping it's enough to distract him while he works the legs free.

The fans loving what they are watching between the two and Kevin can't help but enjoy the feel of the pretty muscle boy being stretched out muscle to muscle with him at the moment.

Rafael settles in for the long haul as he puts his efforts into making this hold the one that's gonna end the match for him. He lets his body rest like dead weight atop Kevin's while his arms are flexed and held taut to ensure that the guillotine was as tight as possible. Kevin meanwhile bumps and wiggles and struggles around beneath him like some kind of fish out of water.

"It's time for your nap old man, go to sleep!" Rafael insists as he throws his head back and cranks the choke as hard as he can get it. By leaning back he had hoped to put even more strain on Kevin by pulling his head up slightly from the mat too. But there was one thing that Rafael was not taking into account here, and that was the bodywork that was made possible by the rules. 1-2-3 quick strikes slam into his exposed obliques and make him hiss through clenched teeth as he sucks in air by surprise. He tenses up and his torso jerks to the opposite side away from those punches, leaving his hold weakened as the shock lingers for a few moments.

Hearing the punk kid's taunt about going to sleep sends Kevin into full on fight or flight response now as the punches land hard enough to get him the opening he was looking for.  

"Never ... forget ... the LEGS ... UNNNGHHHHH"

Grunting out as he continues to fight the loosening choke, but now has his legs unlaced and to the outside of Rafael's.  Kevin's hands go against the Brazilian hips riding his abs and with a big thrust up with his arms and hips, he sends his opponent's body up and off to the side.  Working to get it perpendicular instead of parallel in order to deleverage the choke fully so he can escape.

Rafael certainly hadnt forgotten about the legs, it was just that he was rather more focused on the new and sharp to care. As the shock and awe fades Rafael begins to tighten his guillotine once more just as Kevin undoes the grapevine. That meant he was likely going to be unseated soon, so Rafael needed to find a way to latch on himself. Hands on his hips and a buck of the hips bring him up to the side, but Rafael is able to resist part of it so that he's transitioned to straddling Kevin's left leg instead of being fully removed.

"Oi, quit squirming! This is where you call it quits!" he barks again as he starts to scissor his legs around Kevin's thigh stubbornly. It's not the best mount he'd ever come up with, but it allowed him to retain the hold at least with reduced efficiency. Less tight than before, but still holding on!
