A tale of a Swede and a Dane

More than ten years ago, Lucas Andersen made a promise to himself. A promise that came as a result of bullying that he was subjected to in his high school years because of him being Danish and surrounded with Swedish students. Lucas was not the man he was today, strong, level-headed, ripped and confident. In his younger ages, the Dane was a shy, introvert, nerdy and unfit but all that changed after one faithful day. He still remembers that day when in high school he was scheduled to wrestle one Belinda Northman, the wrestling match was quick and easy with the blonde managing to easily beat him. While the blonde was simply treating it as a sport, she was not aware of how the boys would treat him that he had lost to a girl which further gave them fuel to humiliate him.

It was from that day onwards Lucas had vowed to be strong, to stand up against those who tried to put him down to work on his looks and be active....and to be beat the woman who was the catalyst for all those, to claim that he was better than Belinda Northman in wrestling. The two were not rivals in school, they didn't despise each other and were simply acquaintances. Still, Lucas had a strong desire to be better than her to finally close his high school chapter.

Fast forward to today, he had signed to AFW after years of training and he felt he was ready. Travelling from Denmark to Japan, he had no place to stay and was not privy to the culture and life in Japan so he reached out to the woman he was desperate to surpass and she graciously agreed to let him stay with her until he would find his feet. The Dane stood in front of her apartment door, clutching the handle of his travel bag tightly as he took a deep breath.

Lucas:

"*Ahem*Clears throat*" Lucas would fix his glasses and then take out his phone from his pocket, confirming the right address. He wondered if this was a good idea especially because he had mixed feelings about this. Lucas had a strong desire to overcome her but part of him liked her too but he had come too far to back out. The Dane would ring the doorbell, nervously waiting for the blonde.

This was the start of the tale between a Swede and a Dane.
