Flight of the Valkyries Rareta St. Helen vs La Mariposa

While acrobatics look cool and can build up a good amount if momentum, they are also easier to counter if you are familiar with them. And thanks to years of gymnastics training Rareta certainly was. As the butterfly cartwheels her way over to the corner where Rareta was currently laying, Rareta had a moment to react and used it. She grabbed hold of the ropes above her and flipped up and out if the way, letting the La Mariposa crash into the corner before she came back down, driving her own two feet into the hopefully stunned luchadora

Mariposa was a crowd pleaser. If it dazzled or amazed the crowd, then you can bet it would be something that the masked butterfly would do. However such moments were also a double edged sword sometimes. As when the luchadora cartwheeled her way towards the corner Helen was trapped in, mariposa failed to stop herself when the pinkette managed to jump up and dodge her attack. It only got worse when Helen then turned the tables and drilled her feet into Mariposa’s chest! This time crushing her into the corner and making it hard for her to keep herself standing!

Now it was Rareta's turn to be on the attack, her butterfly themed opponent currently stunned in the corner. Backing up a few steps, shep spread her arms out like she had been taught to by her gymnastics instructor. Then taking a running start, she would somersault into a full split, the heel of her forward leg coming down at the stomach of her opponent before striking the "stuck it" gymnastics pose. She may have been shy, but her routine was something she was proud to show off.

With the tables now fully turned, Mariposa could do nothing but groan as she leaned against the corner. Helen’s surprise dropkick had knocked a lot of wind out of her sails, so the masked woman was currently doing her best to recover. Unfortunately, her opponent wouldn’t give her the chance as the pinkette would drive her heel into the luchadora’s belly! Not only driving more air past Mariposa’s lips, but also causing her to slip down the corner and into a sitting position.

Again backing up to gain momentum Rareta ran full speed at the luchadora, gainning momentum. At the last second she twisted around and grabbed the ropes, attempting to swing around the ring post to drive her knees in a variation of the 619 into Mariposa's gut. Rareta was fully in her element now, facing an opponent like her was certainly fun and let her acrobatics shine beyond just as get away from the giant tools

Still wheezing from the dropkick to her chest that caused her to slide down the turnbuckle. Mariposa could do nothing but focus on her recovery. Unfortunately she wouldn’t be able to do so for long as her pink haired opponent would swing around the turnbuckle and once more drive her feet into the luchadora’s chest and belly! Another choked gasp shooting through her lips as the luchadora fell to her side whilst holding her abdomen.

The crowd cheered at the display of acrobatics, a sound Rareta was not used to hearing for herself. She blushed but inwardly felt kinda great as unironic chants for her filled the arena. Maybe it was this that caused her to get a little more creative with her moves, to hear more chanting for her. She would attempt to use La Mariposa as a step ladder to reach the top rope. Once there she would do a hand stand, stating up there just long enough for people to cheer before attempting to drive her bottom half down in a bronco buster aimed squarely at the fallen Luchador.

Mariposa wheezed as she tried to replace the air she had lost with newer and fresher oxygen. But she realized that if she allowed Helen to continue her assault, the luchadora would never get the chance. So while her pink haired opponent stepped atop her hurt. It gave the dazzling butterfly exactly what she was looking for. For when Helen would handstand on the top ropes, Mariposa would quickly roll away so that the pinkette would hit nothing but turnbuckle!

As she began to descend, she saw La Mariposa move out of the corner. After that, time began to move in slow motion as her mind immediately spotted the danger. It went through a dozen different ways to try and stop it, but non were feasible. And then the move that was supposed to be the end of this Match, connected with the turnbuckle. Pain exploded behind her eyes and between her legs as the later met the turnbuckle at high speed, causing her to fall to the mat, clutching the wounded area, tears in her eyes as she fought back the impending darkness which threatened to drown her in its folds and bring her to warm unconsciousness, which would result in yet another loss.

Mariposa’s chest still ached from the multiple strikes brought onto it thanks to Helen. But she was still far from being finished. A fact that her opponent would quickly find out as the masked luchadora’s rolled away and let the pinkette hit nothing but the merciless turnbuckle. And while there were many a wince at the way Helen impacted. Mariposa knew that she had to keep going. So quickly springing to her feet, the masked butterfly would springboard off of the middle rope before twisting her body in the air so she would land on top of Helen in a crossbody!
