AV 21 Silver Ace vs Rebecca Owens

Pure desperation, that's all that was. Right now, Ace was not in a good way, having taken several hard hits in this match already, and her legs were still aching from that damned figure 4 in the corner post, and now the back of her head was throbbing too, but at least she had bought herself some needed time to try and get away and recover...except seconds later, Rebecca grabbed her arms the same way again, quickly recovering to try her big finisher again, Ace's distraction only buying her scant seconds of time.

Wonderful.

Luckily, Silver Ace was one of the top tier of Friction for damn good reason, and this time, as she was lifted up high above the mat by her arms, Ace quickly locked her legs around Rebecca's waist and leaned her body forward, anticipating that Rebecca was about to try and drop her face first onto the mat from high above.

When she did, Ace would throw her upper body forward, her legs tight around Rebecca's midsection allowing Ace to roll her body forward, grabbing Rebecca's legs and using the element of surprise to trip the woman off balance and use her momentum to roll the woman forward with her onto her back, with Ace sitting on top of her and hooking her legs for a Victory Roll pin attempt!

The referee, after a moments hesitation, dropped down and slapped a hand on the mat to count the pin attempt!

"ONE!"

Rebecca had never been a very agile person, hence why she tended to take hits rather than avoid them. Still she had a lot if respect for people who could pull off those acrobatic counters, like what she had just been the victim of. So taken aback was she that at first she did not notice the count (though her ass in the Air was certainly something that commanded her attention.) When the count reached 2 however she snapped out of it and threw all her weight behind herself in an attempt to push Ace away and break the pin.

"Cmon Cmon..."

"TWO!"

"Cmo-FUCK!"

Ace cried out, as Rebecca managed to kick out of her roll up attempt at the last second, ruining what would have been a perfect come-from-behind victory. Alright, alright. Credit to the new girl, she had a lot more gumption than maybe Ace gave her credit for. But now, it was gonna cost her.

As soon as Ace hit the mat, she rolled away from her opponent, quickly getting up to her feet while Rebecca was doing the same, using the distance between them to side-step towards Rebecca and kick one foot up and out, trying to crack Rebecca right on the jaw with her signature Superkick!

Shad Owens, the Husband of Rebecca Owens, was a well known kick master. When he was actually forced to fight, the man was a wiz with his feet, delivering kicks with the artistry and power of the best kickboxers around. So Rebecca was used to having to deal with super kicks, as it was one that Shad favored above almost all the others. That did not stop it from hurting though. The Redhead took the kick and was dropped again to the mat. She was not out by any stretch, but that kick would still leave her stunned for just a second as she tried to unscramble her head after it had been rattled.

Ace's superkicks were known for putting people down for the count...but Rebecca was clearly made of tougher stuff, as despite a clean hit right on the jaw and going down, the woman wasn't nearly KOed from it. Oh sure, she was hurt from it, maybe stunned briefly, but it was obvious from her movements that there was no point in even going for a pin, as she'd be back on her feet soon after.

While normally, that would be an issue, (and indeed, seeing Rebecca already moving so soon after getting kicked was concerning) Ace still had a plan. Circling around Rebecca when she would start to get up to her feet, trying to stay behind her and in her blind spot, and once she was up, she'd grab the woman's shoulders, spinning her around so they were face to face, before turning her own body and reaching back to grab Rebecca around her head.

"You're finished!"

With that cry, Ace dropped down to her back, driving Rebecca face first into the mat with her powerful finishing move, the Ace Crusher!

The issue with having your head scrambled is that it makes it harder to react when your opponent decides to drop you on your head a second time. Rebecca had just gotten up (and noticed that Ace was not on top of her) when she was spun around and found Ace right behind her in the brief moment before face met canvas. Tha pain that erupted in her head was immense and immediate, causing her to nearly pass out there (infact she might have for half a second so great was the impact. Here she was seeing the difference between herself and one if AFW'S veterans, a mountain some small part of her began to ask if she could overcome.

Ace loved the Ace Crusher. It was such a beautiful, simple, move. Simply jump, grab the head, and let gravity take its course as you drive them face first into the ground with a brutal knockout blow. It had served her well her entire career, and tonight, it would serve her well once again, by planting this tough as nails newcomer into the mat for her victory!

After nailing the Crusher, Ace rolled over from her back to her front, grabbing Rebecca's shoulders and the waist of her shorts, and rolled the woman over, draping her tiring body over Rebecca's own and hooking her leg for a pin attempt as the referee dropped down to count.

"ONE!"

It was a very painful move, one that could even deal with the iron will and steel body of one like Rebecca Owens. She was barely even aware of the ref as they slid in and began to count.

One!!!

The Warrior inside of Rebecca began to scream at her to fight back, to push past and overcome. Slowly her mental faculties began to return to her but not fast enough.

Two!!!

She was almost fully awake now, realizing the danger she was in and fighting with her unrulely body to get back into it.

Right before the ref's hand made contact with the mat, Rebecca somehow managed to get her shoulder up, breaking the pin at 2.9999999. "That was way to close" she thought as she worked to clear the remainder of the fog from her head.

"OH COME THE FUCK ON!"

Silver Ace, rather uncharacteristically, screamed as Rebecca, at the absolute last possible second, managed to actually kick out of the Ace Crusher, only two women previously had ever kicked out of the Ace Crusher in Silver Ace's entire AFW career of nearly 10 years. One of those women was a former World Champion and considered a legend of the sport, while the other had specifically DEFEATED Silver Ace herself for the Hardcore Championship.

Needless to say, the fact that she was even comparing Rebecca to those other women was enough to send a chill through Ace's spine as she looked down at the fallen red head, shaking her head in disbelief.

"What the hell are you made of?"

She asked aloud, panting and slowly pushing herself up to her feet, reaching down and grabbing a handful of Rebecca's bright red hair and her arm, roughly starting to yank and pull her up to her feet, staring right into the newcomers eyes before starting to speak.

"You want my respect? You have it for sure. But this isn't a hentai match, and its time I put you down!" She said, and with that, turned and reached back, grabbing at Rebecca's head and neck before attempting to drop Rebecca back down to the mat with a second Ace Crusher!

"When they come up with a name for the material, I'll be sure you're the first to know." She responded with a little chuckle that changed to a groan as her head throbbed painfully. Whatever she was made of, it was tough but not indestructible and another of those Ace Crushers would probably end her. But after that near fall the crimson warrior was experiencing a burst of adrenaline, her second wind kicking in. Though kicking wasn't exactly what she had in mind. It was more like when Ace went to grab her she would grab the offending arms and pull Ace in close, setting up for a counter belly to belly suplex.
