Momentum Information
Strategy: Xiang’s fighting style is quite defensive. She’s one to usually wait for their opponents to strike first and then try to counter from there. Using her Speed to quickly diminish or grow the distance between herself, as well use it to quickly dodge out of the way.
She uses a succession of strong attacks to take down her opponents, especially against opponents with good endurance. Xiang also aims for weaker spots trying to do as much as possible with her hits.
Due to being physically weak and lighter than most of her opponents, Xiang’s grabs usually tend to be ones that use their weight against them. Either using a strong hit to weaken them before, which allows her to set them up in order to throw them more easily, or simply trying to use her opponent’s attack against them. She uses simple throws like a version of Monkey Flip, Shoulder throw, etc…
The martial artist was never one to leave the ground as most of her combat relies on the ground, this however does not mean she doesn’t might make some “Low-Flying” attacks done by a jump of her own. Due to her low stature she might even depend on them to take much bigger opponents
Style: Martial Arts.

Personality:
Xiang is an honorable and respectable person and is quite serious when it comes to fighting, especially when it comes to trying to bring respect to her fighting style and that she is a capable fighter.
She’s quite friendly however out of the ring. The Chinese woman is curious about other people’s fighting styles and cultures, and tries to get along with everyone else, but can quickly change depending on the situation, especially if they are being rude to her.
Xiang hates to be judged and joked about her height, becoming completely mad about it which normally ends badly because normally she just seems like a small kid having a tantrum as she doesn’t want to start anything serious and just wants them to stop. But combined that with the seriousness of the fight, she can become quite the angry fighter as her whole strategy might change for a few seconds, the insults getting the best of her.
Past/History:
Xiang since little, practiced Kung Fu as their family owned a dojo, alongside her brother, Wang-Zhi. They were taught to at least know self-defense, but they quickly continued the practice of fighting to eventually take on the job of taking care of the dojo.
Both of the siblings are actually rivals and both tried to best each other, as they fought numerous times. They used to battle a lot between each other with Wang-Zhi always coming out on top. He was always harsh and competitive, especially against Xiang wanting to best one of the siblings, wanting to be the one to inherit the Dojo. He was also supposed to be some sort of prodige which made it harder for Xiang to keep up even with her hard work. As time went on Wang-Zhi became much more pissed at Xiang as the gap between the two grew, assuming that she had been slacking off even though she was practicing away more than before.
One day, Xiang already in her early teen years, their Dojo were invited to join a Martial Art show, where multiple of other Dojo, each one with their own art, go show them off with either a few Katas, spars between them or some other type of demonstrations, and try to interest other people to try to practice it. However this perhaps was too effective as Xiang was too interested, approaching all of the other participants interested about their style and culture.
In the following years, Xiang would travel around the world excited to learn more about new cultures and new fighting styles, spending at least one month of trying to learn as much as possible before eventually moving to another area. She didn’t learn all the arts or even mastered them completely, but did what felt like enough. Her favourite to learn was Japanese Jiu Jutsu, having a good array between some aspects, however she still has a lot to know about it or everything else. After one or two years, Xiang returned to China to see the Dojo once again and eventually stay there. At That moment her brother had taken ownership of that Dojo, once he had reached adulthood as their parents decided to move to something else.
Wang-Zhi, curious of much better Xiang had decided to spar her like before, and while she had become better, their gap in skill was significant as he was pulling on ahead. Feeling that she would lose too quickly at that rate, the Chinese woman decided to pull in practice some of the moves she learned, and caughting Wang-Zhi off guard managed to equalize the situation, throwing desperation over him. For the first time she had disrupted his guard to the point of allowing her to land suchs hits, however Wang-Zhi would only get angry and get back at her even harder as he won again. Realizing the use of other Martial arts besides the Kung Fu, filled Wang-Zhi with disgust, to the point of even accusing of her sister to dishonor the name of the family and profaning the Dojo with her moves, and if wasn’t for her parents having arrived to meet her again, he’d go far to even attempt to both ban her from the Dojo and even disowning her from the family, but that would be up to their father which wouldn’t allow it.
This did sadden Xiang and a few weeks later Xiang left again, this time specifically to Japan to continue to train and even enter a few of different competitions that would be appearing no matter the style. Wasn’t long until she found out about the new AFW Momentum change about now hosting Martial arts competitions. She was advised to enter as there were other Martial artists among the rosters and more might appear due to this change. Hearing this, Xiang was excited to try it out and wanting to learn from it and decided to join and become the best version of herself.
Fun Facts:
-Not made for Flying: Xiang is terrified of heights, having been in complete trouble on flights when she was going around the world.
-”This isn’t as bad as I thought…”: Once in Japan, Xiang, while visiting and looking around, stumbled into a Bondage club and fell in love with it, going there for a few sections. She's a sub.
