Triin Liiv vs Louise Vandenbroeck (D) - Empress of Estonian Enclave

Triin decided against engaging in the lock-up, choosing to instead try taking advantage of her foe's momentum, and through the element of surprise, get her rolled over beneath her body. That decision turned out to be a good one, as the Estonian managed to get her quick-feeted opponent stuck and grounded for now! For a moment she felt very good about the situation - before Louise managed to get her other arm rather easily free, and lock it aroung the heroine's head.

The headlock certainly got Triin in a bit sticky situation, and the bodies of the combatants pressed even tighter together. Thus, as the knightess had to listen to the Dutch lady's subsequent words, they were instrumental with evoking some serious ire inside the blonde's head. "Perv? Fighting just to grope some chicks? She?" Louise's accusations were unprecedented for Triin, and she could not think of one single reason why they could have been justified!

Sure, Triin couldn't deny that on some level, tussling with other girls and women was a very intriguing activity. But she was always the one embodying the attitude of proper fighting first! The ring, even in AFW, was a stadium of honor for her, and even if many of the matches on a daily basis held more or less lewd elements, that was not in the Estonian's interest at all. And especially not in a match setup such as the one tonight!

Triin was usually a woman of few words, but now she just absolutely had to protest, even if she was held in a headlock. "What? What the heck?" the blonde began, before trying to start delivering chops on any part of Louise's upper body that would be available, hoping that those would force the Dutch girl to let go of the headlock. "I'm most certainly not here just to put on some lewd show! And if that's what you want, I'd suggest you to find some other opponent!" she then continued in an angry tone, before trying to deliver some chops again across Louise's chest. "So you want to hurt then? Just stay there and wait until I twist you into a pretzel..." the knightess concluded, certainly wanting to act on her threat, but knowing that she did not really want to run the risk of accidentally freeing her opponent in the process while trying to set up a submission move.

As the match stood, Louise and Triin were currently at a bit of a standstill. Louise's arm was locked around Triin's body, keeping the Estonian tight against her. Meanwhile, the blonde herself was chopping away at her chest and upper body. "Nngh... just try it... And hey, watch where you're touching, Ms. Honorable Knightess!" Louise spat out, still with more annoyance than actual venom in her words. She wasn't angry, but hopefully her mocking tone while calling Triin out for still going for her chest would faze the Estonian. The Nederlander was starting to get the measure of her opponent -- Triin seemed to take her title as a Knightess and her Estonian heritage quite seriously, and she vehemently denied any desire to commit lewd acts in the ring. If Louise could take advantage of those traits, then maybe she could get the mental edge in their fight. She'd need whatever advantages she could get against an opponent with superior martial prowess and experience between the ropes.

Still fighting was better than taunting, especially if she wanted to actually win this match. Louise planted her feet firmly on the ground. She then pushed her torso up, hoping to use her strong base and leverage the headlock to bridge out of Triin's pin! Given that Triin was already in a full mount position, it wasn't as if she had many options. If Louise couldn't succeed in forcing her rival off or if Triin's reflexes were faster than her own, then the blonde would certainly be able to regain her bearings, but she had to try something! Besides, if the goal was to use her headlock to pull Triin off of her, she might even end up on top of the Estonian blonde.

Triin got the opportunity to protest Louise's words and based on the Dutch girl's response, managed to send her message across as well. But despite all of her chops and other resistance, she failed to achieve one of her key goals - getting out of the headlock! As long as her opponent would have it locked in place, Triin knew that she was in a bad position.... And with these troubles with getting out of it the Estonian's confidence for grappling wasn't really increasing at all.

The knightess was becoming even more embarrassed as Louise scolded her for watching where she was touching, and the demand just frankly irritated the blonde. "Well, let go of the headlock then so I can see something!" was the response she really had the urge to say out loud, but barely managed to resist herself, choosing to focus on trying to fight her way free instead... However, suddenly Louise unexpectedly pushed her body up, causing the knightess to lose her balance and immediately drop off to the side! Landing halfway on her side and on her back, if Louise wanted to take the opportunity to get on top of her foe, it would be easy for her to achieve. At least for a moment...

It seemed that their banter had faded for now, not that Louise particularly missed it. More than that, though, Louise was glad to see that her maneuver had worked and that she'd thrown Triin off of her and onto the mat. Still, the job wasn't done. If she tried to go for a flag now, then there was no doubt that Triin would get up just as fast and possibly even catch her. No, she needed to stay on the offensive.

As she caught her footing on above Triin, Louise flicked her hand out, using the Estonian's face as an aid to keep her balance! Once she felt secure on top, Louise sprang up as if doing a squat jump in the gym, hoping to land on Triin's body with an elbow drop! Her natural talent at jumping could put some solid force behind the move, but if she jumped too high, Triin would have too much time to react and dodge the attack. There was a balance to be struck, and only the next second or so would tell how well she'd done.

Triin had been caught in a tricky situation. On the other hand, she had been on top of her foe...but on the other, she had been stuck in a headlock! Thus, as Louise succeeded in throwing the Estonian knightess off of her, Triin felt partly relieved, but partly anxious now that the Dutch was free to do as she pleased.

So what was she going to do? Well, first of all there was something unpleasant coming, as Triin's face was abruptly used as support. Neither pleasant nor very gracious... But when Louise proceeded to squat and jump up again, Triin could feel the hand disappearing from her face...and it was obvious to her that the Dutch girl had just been perfectly happy to jump up and enjoy her freedom.

And what a painful misconception that had been. Instead of regaining her footing, Louise had decided to go for an elbow drop, one that hit Triin squarely and out of the blue! "UUUGGHHHH..." The Baltic Knightess lost all air out of her lungs, as her chest became smashed but her foe's elbow, prompting her to slowly roll over in desperate need of recovery time...

Louise felt her elbow find purchase within Triin's chest. As the Baltic Knightess gasped for air, Louise pressed her palm to the mat and pushed off, rising to her feet. With her opponent currently grounded, Louise thought, it was suddenly a good time to press her advantage and grab another flag. Three still remained hanging above the ring. Aiming herself towards one, Louise ran towards another corner and leapt...

And promptly hit the top of the post! "Grruh--!" Unfortunately, Louise was far more tired than before. Even her explosive legs had their limits, ones which fell lower and lower with every second that Louise labored through this fight. The fatigue in her muscles had sapped just enough of her strength to send her crashing into the top of the post! "Nngh..." Louise winced, clutching her stomach where the post had hit it. Her leaping failure had winded her, and she doubled over in an attempt to regain her bearings.

The crowd couldn't help but laugh around them as both wrestlers were now hurt, one of them by her own hand! Still, now the next phase of their game was afoot: Which of them would recover first? For now, it wasn't Louise...

The elbow drop had been devastating, and Triin was sure to be forced to reel on the mat for some time. Thus, the Estonian was already sure that Louise had gotten her chance to escape and once again leap wherever she would want to, likely snatching another one of her precious flags by a ringpost. And that was obviously bad, bad news.

Triin's dignity, and the dignity of her home country was in line here. And as she heard the crowds erupting in laughter, deep anger began running through her veins. She was sure, absolutely sure, that the crowds had laughed after Louise had managed to snatch another flag, and how taking them down was being as easy as taking a candy from a kid. She had to stop this... She had to go all in!

Pushing herself up, Triin found herself almost next to the cornerpost where her own, sacred sword was set in stone. This match hadn't gone on for too long yet, but it was already high time to make use of it - she could no longer let Louise roam free! Thus, the Baltic Knightess proceeded to grab hold of her sword, pulling it swiftly out of the stone before turning around to face her opponent with it!

And that's when it was time for Triin to get astonished. Instead of running around with a flag, Louise was reeling against a turnbuckle - and with a flag now lowered right in front of her! Momentarily cursing herself for not checking the actual situation before pulling out the sword and causing the flags to lower as a consequence, the blonde knightess soon realized that it was of no use. Instead, she proceeded to rush towards Louise hoping to still stop her from getting the flag - but by now it was already hanging practically right in front of the Scarlet Streak.
