Triin Liiv vs Nebel Schwarz - Knights, Soldiers And Iron Bars

"She's German?"
No, Triin Liiv had nothing against Germans. At least not by default. It was just that for some reason her opponent of tonight, Nebel Schwarz, was going to be already the second German Triin had fought against in her relatively short career in AFW. Sure, the promotion was full of ladies and gentlemen from all over the world, but still the Estonian would have found that the odds of fighting against multiple Germans here in faraway Japan in such rapid succession were rather low at best.

Obviously, she was wrong. And to be honest, maybe it was a good thing after all. In principle, she had some scores to settle with Germany. Her last encounter with a German had been against Tessa Price, in a knight-style battle themed with a Medieval setting in a castle in Germany. While all that had been thrilling by itself, the duller part was that despite of Triin getting close to victory, the German veteran had managed to defeat the blonde knightess in the end. Tonight, she had a chance to pay back some of those dues.

Triin Liiv - The Baltic Knightess:

Off went Muse's Knights of Cydonia in the Friction arena, and out came the Baltic Knightess from backstage. With her usual serious face, Triin gave a couple of subtle waves at the crowds while taking stern and determined steps towards the....cage? Oh, yeah, right, the cage had probably been mentioned in the chart she had taken a quick glance at. But honestly, more than anything, it was just a nice surprise! Triin loved to battle in unusual and out of the ordinary places, and while cages were not exactly uncommon in wrestling, the knightess still considered it to be a nice change from the standard ring.

Getting into the cage, the Estonian made first one round to greet the crowds in her own characteristically restrained way, before making another one around the cage, but this time slamming her sword against the iron bars at each side. After impressing the crowds with her skills, the knightess slipped her sword out of the cage before settling into her corner, her thoughts now focusing on what kind of an opponent this German girl would actually be like.

Backstage at the Gorilla position there was a woman who was getting ready to step out onto the ramp, after her blond opponent had made her way down into the ring and by proxy the cage, she would bounce a little on her toes, getting herself ready and psyched for this contest.

So far, things had been going rather well for her, she had recently come off of a defeat against Peggy McIntyre who was a part of a tag team with one of Friction's biggest stars, so that was not a defeat she felt too bad about, though she was coming tonight to redeem herself in a sense, and she was supposed to fight someone who was known as the Baltic Knight. The idea of fighting a knight made the Japanese-German wrestler feel even more hyped for tonight...

Then it hit, her theme started to play out of the speaker and with it the busty blond Solider stepped out onto the ramp and to a relatively large pop from the crowd, she was greeted as her entrance music played her march down the ramp, she made her way down towards the caged ring and would quickly take to climbing into the monstrous structure that she and her opponent would be battling in tonight.

Making her way up to the center of the ring where she would perform a salute for the crowd. She would then turn towards her opponent and smile, nodding her head as she would remove her hat and hand it off towards the referee to take care of it, and doing the very same with her coat.

Triin was focused on catching the first glimpses of her opponent, and as her theme began playing on the Friction arena, she got her first taste of what to expect. Sounded like her opponent had the desire to be a rockstar, of at least enjoyed getting rowdy and rough in the ring! Which wasn't really unexpected, considering the circumstances...

The Estonian watched incessantly as Nebel made her way to the cage. The first thing she noticed was that the German definitely had a curious outfit - maybe appearing to be some kind of soldier of sorts? Definitely one of the sexier soldiers Triin had seen in that case, but that was only natural in AFW. And popular too, based on the cheers she was receiving from the crowds...

"OK, definitely a soldier..." the knightess deduced, after Nebel had performed her salute in the middle of the cage. And frankly, that only served to light up even more sparks inside the Estonian. The setup with the cage was exciting already by itself, but being a knightess battling against a soldier was definitely something for the crowds to see tonight! And if anything, it only helped Triin to immerse more intensely in her own gimmick...

But then the German soldier nodded in the most Japanese way possible, which struck as odd to the Estonian. Was she somehow Japanese after all? The knightess tried to hastily reciprocate the nod, but had no further time to think about the reasons behind it before Nebel had taken off her coat, and exposed her body much better for Triin to evaluate. Beginning to close in on Nebel, the knightess determined that the two fighters were rather similar in shape and size. She herself was just a bit taller than her opponent, but Nebel on the other hand appeared to have at least slightly more muscle... Still, all that only signalled to the knightess that she should have very good chances of defeating the German soldier tonight!

The big question now though was Nebel's character. Was she a soldier of honor, or an evil bully? If you asked Triin, she was keen to earn the label of the good girl of the ring herself tonight. But there was only one way to find out... As the Estonian got close enough to her opponent, she offered her hand for a shake and decided to say some words in her usual serious face and tone. "Good evening, I'm Triin Liiv, the Baltic Knightess. The one who will be slaying all evil in this arena tonight. And unfortunately, I sense that it will include you too."

Schwarz Nebel would look on as her opponent would step up a bit closer towards them, they were standing a few feet away from one another now in the center of the ring as the knightess moved up and offered that handshake of hers.

The German Soldier would try and mimic Triin's expression as best as she could, a serious face as she would take that hand and give it a firm shake. Grasping it tightly to show that she was serious about this affair. As the knight introduced herself, Kasumi would smile a little, this was the second gimmick wrestler she had come up against so far, and she was getting rather excited to face off against this Baltic beauty.

" Evening to you, I'm Schwarz Nebel. Most people do just call me Nebel though. Or if you'd like you may refer to me as simply a soldier. I don't intend to be slain, instead I plan to come out victorious." Schwarz Nebel spoke as she kept her serious expression as she stared down Triin throughout their handshake. After a few seconds of it, the referee would step in and look to separate the pair, which they did without any problem from Schwarz Nebel.

She would nod her head, and then look to raise her arms again. This time in a grappling pose as she would offer a lock up to Triin Liiv as soon as the bell rung. Looking to square off with the fellow blond beauty and see what she was made off. Judging from her appearance she wouldn't be an easy opponent to square off against at all, but Schwarz Nebel hadn't come here for easy, she came here for intense action and tough opponents. Triin looked as if she could live up to that.

Triin was eager to find out what Nebel was all about. So far everything appeared very promising with her soldier gimmick and outfit, but the Estonian struggled to make a guess whether her opponent was a ruthless heel or an honorable face. A soldier could have been either one, right? Then again, German soldiers did have quite a ruthless reputation though...

But as the two shook hands, Triin's perception began to shift a bit more to the honorable side. Nebel was fair enough to shake hands in a proper manner, and polite enough with her words. Even her statement of coming out victorious was rather restrained. Her grip with the handshake was very tight though, and her words and behavior was very serious, almost as if she was mimicking Triin... And the Estonian knew that some might have percepted her own serious attitude to be more resemblant of a heel than of an honorable knightess!

"You better have made some good plans then..." the knightess replied as the two parted, and without delay, the match was already underway. And apparently the soldier was determined to test the knightess with a lock-up!

Triin estimated that the threats of engaging in the lock-up were probably greater than the opportunities. Strength was not one of her, well, strengths, and Nebel on the other hand appeared like she had some muscle. Also, grappling was something that often landed the Estonian in trouble. But still, Triin promptly proceeded to engage in the lock-up with Nebel. Why? She did actually want to find out exactly how strong the soldier was. And more importantly, as a valiant knightess, she was never one to turn down a challenge!

Schwarz Nebel could clearly feel the seriousness in the handshake, it seemed that both her and her opponent was on the same sort of wavelength right now. As the Soldier and the Knight would tighten their grips on the others hand. Their little staredown as they exchanged their words was intense, but even this early in the match there seemed to be a fair bit of respect between each other.

When the handshake was broken and the two beautiful blond combatants separated from one another, the German Soldier would narrow her eyes at the Baltic Knightess, watching as she went in for that lock up and it seemed as if Triin was going to accept it.

The two women clashed in the center of the ring, locking up in a collar and elbow tie up as they would stand face to face, forehead's pressing as Schwarz Nebel glared into those eyes of her opponent in an intense way as she would try and push into her, trying to force Triin back towards the cage wall!

Triin had some doubts over the lock-up, but the blonde was determined to find out just how far her own strength could take her in the grapple. It was a great way to find out more about Nebel too, especially her strength and techniques. Sure thing the blonde German was a soldier all right, but was she just cannon fodder or part of the elites?

Triin had been expecting for a tough lock-up, but Nebel seemed to make it even more intense than the Estonian had anticipated. As the foreheads of the two blondes clashed, and Triin could see deep determination in Nebel's eyes revealing the seriousness of the situation. And surely enough, the knightess had to already take a few steps back...

All was not yet lost though, as the Estonian finally managed to ramp up her own defences. Exerting with great effort, Triin halted Nebel's progress, and the contest between the two blondes seemed to become even again. However, it did require extreme effort on Triin's behalf...and eventually, the Estonian failed to keep her footing in place, causing the knightess to stumble backwards, all the way until her back hit the iron bars!

Triin was a tough girl, that much was clear. When the knightess managed to stop her and put them in a stand still the German was forced to grunt and struggle...she had to start over exerting herself in order to try and force the woman back even more...

In the end, she was able to push and force Triin right back up against the cage wall! Panting out as she would stand right against her opponent, keeping her eyes fixed with Triin as she had her moment of determined gazing into those eyes, a slight gaze of victory as she took the first win.

Schwarz Nebel would back, trying to keep her arms around that head and pull Triin out of the corner, trying to hit those abs with a knee strike and then try and turn around and attempt to throw the woman over her shoulder with an attempted snapmare throw, trying to have her fall down onto her rear!

Triin had done her best with the lock-up, but had still clearly been defeated by Nebel in the strength contest. While it was not a huge surprise to the Estonian, it was still somewhat disappointing. Not only did it signal that the soldier had indeed some strength advantage over her, but it also had the potential for Nebel to gain the upper hand early on in the match. One that she was also keen to take advantage of, based on the passionate, hungry look in the German soldier's eyes...

The instincts of the knightess did not lie. Before she knew it, a stiff knee strike was causing her to bend forward next to her blonde opponent...who had even more in store for her. Before she could muster up any resistance, the Estonian was thrown over with a beautiful snapmare throw, causing her rear to smack against the canvas!

Triin let out a brief groan, but she knew that if she just stayed there, she'd just become an all-too-easy target for further attacks by Nebel. Thus, the knightess tried to quickly roll over to her all fours, and then push herself back up to her two feet again. Hopefully she could manage all that quick enough to avert any further plans by Nebel, and get some distance between the two for now to recoup.

Schwarz Nebel might have been stronger but it didn't seem to be by a wide margin, though she could use that in her favor and she already was. Driving her knee right into the woman's abs and then taking control of things as she would throw Trinn down onto her butt with that snapemare. Backing up a step, the Soldier was ready to give the knight a painful surprise...but! The purple clad woman was a bit to quick for that.

Rolling away and onto her hands and knees, a bit away from the Hero of Germany, Schwarz Nebel would wait and see the fellow blond start to rise up. Looking to take to a run at her while she was rising, Nebel would try and come in and drive her shoulder into Triin's and go for a standard shoulder-block! Trying to take the Knight down once more, this time onto her back!
