Standard match: Vigdis Kirkeby vs Rareta St. Helen

Most of her submission experience came from her master. But she had gained a lot of knowledge on strikes from her teacher's husband, especially when it came to kicks. So she had been surprised not only that the hit landed...but that it was as effective as it was. She knew it would take a lot more than that to bring down Vigdis...but she was determined to try, even if she ultimately didn't have much hope. Already she was panting and breathing hard, and she could feel her reserves were at halfway. If it was not over in the next few hits, she would be too tired to fight back.

So while her opponent was still kneeling Rareta went up to the top rope. Finally she had the height advantage (barely) over Vigdis and she hoped to make it count. She launched herself once more. Her goal was to catch her opponent's head in hers and deliver a swift top rope cutter to the giant. Then if it brought her down she would go for a pin...hopefully that would be enough.

That was a hell of a kick, at least for someone like Rareta. Perhaps it would’ve been a good idea to work on the endurance of her head. Vigdis felt like she had underestimated a bit too much, but also her opponent picked just the right spot to hit, had been anywhere else, she felt she would’ve taken it just fine. Next time she wouldn’t allow such a thing to happen.

Kana was slightly dizzy, but was still quite aware of what was going on as she watched the Egyptian woman prepare herself. She stood still, taking some time to stop the dizziness, as Rareta rose to the top rope and whatever she was about to do. She felt she deserved it due to that set up.

Suddenly the pink-haired woman jumped at her, the giant feeling her head being grabbed and as the small woman fell, she brought the Danish woman along with her. And then both hit the ground, Kana’s head driving into the floor with a loud bang. She stood there, laying down, it was a good move, if Vigdis was perhaps standing up it probably would be more devastating. After all “The bigger they are, the bigger the fall”...

It wasn’t long before Kana felt pressure over her body, pressing her down against the floor trying to immobilize. She quickly realized what Rareta was doing, a pin… Right after she heard a few rushed steps, followed by the sound of something falling to the ring floor and then what seemed to sound like a hand crushing on the floor.

“ONE!”

It was the referee counting. At that immediate moment, Kana slammed both arms beside her and started pushing herself upwards along with Rareta, trying to break the pin before attempting to shake her off. If successful, she’d start raising to her feet, before starting to dust off her clothes.

Rareta knew she would probably break out, but the force if it still surprised her. Also the fact that minus a few bumps and bruised Vigdis looked to be no worse off then when they started. Rareta however needed a moment to recover, those moves were not easy and ate up a lot if her stamina. So she tried to roll to the corner to rest while Vigdis was dusting herself off. When the giant finally began to come at her, she would attempt to slip under the legs again to get behind her, her only hope a last ditch sleeper hold.

Kana felt like she had been playing too long. While she wanted that to be a fun fight, she was quite aware of the huge difference in abilities between the two, and was getting distracted as she allowed a good amount of hits in, however got reminded of that as soon the referee started to count. And thus Vigdis pushed Rareta off her as she rose from the ground.

She had nothing against her opponent, but perhaps Kana had been dragging that for too long. The small woman barely could continue, and while the giant did take a few good hits she could continue for more, also the fact that her opponent’s strikes weren’t that strong made her able to continue for much more.

Growing more serious, Kana looked at Rareta with the intention of finishing it. The only reason the match went like this was because the Danish woman felt that at least her opponent deserved a fighting chance, even if it could've meant some disrespect for the Egyptian girl for not staying serious throughout, with the exception of when Kana allowed that axe kick to the head.

Now facing her small opponent, Vigdis rushed towards her at full speed again, trying to crush Rareta between herself and the corner. However she quickly found her dodging right under her. And while that was impressive, Kana had to focus on slowing down to crush down into the corner. But that was impossible, as she still crushed, just not with a ton of force as she managed to somewhat slow down. Still upon crushing into it, Vigids lowered herself, which allowed Rareta to jump on her back and lock in a Sleeper hold. The giant lowered to a kneeling position as she felt being choked, before shooting both of her hands towards Rareta’s arms, trying to pull them away in an attempt to break off the hold.

No matter how strong her grip may be, with her depleted strength she simply had no way of stopping Vigdis from peeling her off like a bandage. She tried, she tried super hard to keep it going, but the mismatch in size was finally showing and Rareta simply did not have to tools to take down the giant. Jack at least had Gravity on his side, Rareta didn't even have that. So she would struggle in the grip trying to break free but knowing it would not work.

Feeling the pressure around her neck was quite unpleasant. The lack of air in her throat alongside constant pain was the worst. Kana wasn’t used to chokes, as her opponents were more of strikes or throws, or simply weren’t able to get high enough to attempt it. However her opponent was able for the second time now, as she could jump quite high enough for it, after all it wasn't impossible to do it, just quite hard to do so.

Vigdis was hating it, quickly shooting her arms towards Rareta’s to break the hold. And it seems it was working quite well, hence why she was worried about stopping it. She started to pull with all of strength and considering the strength between the two, it was rather easy to see that she was starting to overpower the small woman.

Just wanting to get her off her, Kana focused and thought for a moment before continuing doing what she was going to do. She was prepared to throw her, but could that limp body of hers handle it. No, thinking about it would be an insult to Rareta, even though she was much weaker than her, she could probably handle it.

And thus the Giant prepared, her grip strengthened and swung her whole body forwards as her arms pulled Rareta’s as she attempted to throw Rareta forwards, off her. However this could cause some problems as, if she was successful, Kana couldn’ve accidentally thrown the small Egyptian girl into the turnbuckle as it was right in front of her, which could cause massive damage...

Rareta was thrown. She knew it had to happen soon so she had been prepared to be ripped off. Her opponent did not seem to be taking it easy on her and threw her hard right at the turnbuckle. With the last bit if her strength, she course corrected at the last second. She still slammed into the post, but it was not the devastating damage it might have been. One problem though, her course correction had caused her leg to get tangled in the ropes and now she was hanging, exhausted and spent, upside down from the turnbuckle. "Finish me. I have nothing left."

Vigdis was getting annoyed by that choke, wanting to just get the small woman off her. A bit of rage overtook her as prepared to take Raretas off her back, throwing her away without thinking much of the consequences. The giant wasn’t used to fighting rather fragile opponents, at least compared to her opponent…

Upon seeing the pink-hair girl violently crashing into the turnbuckle, made her feel sorry for it, thinking if she wasn’t that violent perhaps could’ve saved her from such a severe pain, avoiding such painful position and sight to see.

Seeing Rareta in that state and hearing those words, did sadden Kana. While she wasn’t strong, at least was promising in other ways, but it did seem that the difference between the two was too big. “It’s a shame. Really is. You seem to have potential, and see it come down to this state. But if it is your limit…”

A cold silence fell as Vigidis said those words. As she stood there pondering those words, before adding more to end it. “I’m sorry.”

In a mad dash, Kana went towards Rareta. If the Oni was going to end it there, she’d make sure the small woman would go out in an honorable way, with her going serious. Vigdis shifted her torso as he aimed her left shoulder forward, aiming it to strike the Egyptians’ Upside torso with a Shoulder Bash.

Rareta had made peace with what was happening now, she had no regrets. She had done well considering who she was up against and what she was asked to do. So when the giant charged Rareta flinched a bit but otherwise let it happen. Pain exploded in her abdomen as the giant's shoulder crashed into her unprotected form, causing her to gasp and cough and even black out for just a moment. The move did loosen her leg and she fell like a wet sack to the canvas. "There is, noting to be sorry for. I knew what I was in for when I agreed to fight."

Vigdis felt sorry for the poor Rareta. It did feel bad unleashing all of her strength against, yet seemed completely wrong not to do it. Just one match and with such a fragile individual, was enough to make her question her approach to that situation. The giant simply was angry because she was expecting to fight a strong opponent, someone worth going all out, rather than fighting a small and shy woman.

However Kana eventually unleashed a serious tackle upon her upside body stuck on a rope. It wouldn’t be fair to at least finish her seriously, to honor the small woman’s fighting spirit and the courage to fight against almost twice her size. Thus she striked, feeling the Rareta’s body crush between the turnbuckle before falling down like a sack of potatoes.

Upon hearing her opponent, Kanna couldn’t help but sigh at that comment. It wasn’t necessarily what she was thinking about, not that she wanted to hurt her, but rather how bad it needed to be, but it didn't matter. Kana quickly threw that subject aside as the Egyptian woman was somewhat right. They were there to fight and she should be treated as such.

It was also time to finish it all as Vigids moved her opponent into the middle of the ring to get more space to try to pin her. Considering how close they were to the corner and how big Vigdis was, it would’ve been uncomfortable. Once Rareta was in the middle of the ring, Vigids would slowly start to descend before eventually resting her whole body on top of her opponent’s trying to pin her.
