Nagana vs Yori [Unleashed Match]

Yori was getting tired, tired of how strong this Naga could be as they blocked a strike that the foxy vixen had sent their way. Of course she wasn't expecting much from a simple strike, but the disappointment of her blocking such a kick was still an unpleasant annoyance. Never had she faced someone this strong before one on one and Yori's body could attest to it after suffering from that dreaded coil. A careful eye always watched to see where the rest of her body went, making sure to keep the best and most clever foot work she could have in her somewhat already injured state. She remained calm, or at least gave appearance of such.

In return for the side kick that was blocked, the blow impacting hard but enough that the Naga couldn't take, Yori had only a split second to duck low and aside as Nagana sent an amazingly fast strike. Faster than she could, the blow caught the traces of her hair quickly dropped down with Yori's slender and muscular form, "Tired? I'm just warming up."

"Better question, how does your teeth feel?!" she spoke as she came back up from a crouched low position after her duck, attempting to retaliate back with a jumping wheel kick.

Yori was starting to get mad~ Nagana could taste it. Frustration was almost as much of a mind killer as fear was. It made someone want to get back at someone at all costs, no matter what happened to the person who was angry. Some fighters thought they fought better when angry, but the truth was it made them sloppy. Nagana had seen it dozens of times, and someone pushed up against the wall like Yori was almost certainly going to fall into that stage of acceptance at one point or another. It was almost comforting to know that Yori was already at that point in the battle. The snake woman was hoping to add a bit of fuel to Yori’s fire with a quick jab to the nose, but Yori still had a bit of wits about her and ducked out of the way just in time. A few strands of Yori’s hair graced Nagana’s knuckles, the two fighters almost as close as they were when Nagana coiled against the Kitsune.

Yori used their close proximity by launching upwards at Nagana! The serpent woman retreated by bringing up her defensive arms and climbing in height. But that wasn’t enough. Almost as though Yori predicted the retreat, Yori’s jump took her at exactly the right point for her to perform her spinning kick, slipping around Nagana’s arms and smacking the side of her head.

“ACK!”

For the first time, Nagana fell down! Completely and totally! Her upper body smacked against the canvas with a stunning impact, her active tail getting sluggish and slow. The striker managed to keep her teeth despite the blow, but her vision had grown fuzzy from the strike. A predatory hiss slipped through Nagana’s teeth as she rubbed the foot mark that now rested on the side of her face.

“Ssstupid little trick!”

Using a burst strength coming from her positioning and legs, Yori gave a perfectly coordinated and accurate kick right where she wanted it, that being the kick that she just delivered straight through Nagana's defense. Hitting her from the side as her foot connect with the side of the snakewoman's head. It wasn't as strong as that ball  that she had taken a tooth out with earlier but the force of the strike was once again enough to take the woman down once again. The vixen herself would land, staggering a bit as she her legs let out a silent cry of pain, still sore, and her ribs groaning from the pressure of the movement put upon them. She'd grit her teeth, knowing full well that the job wasn't done.

Fear, anger, frustration, confidence, Yori was reeking of all of it one with a sense like her opponent's. She hadn't been done fighting but she had let it all out in that kick. Never had she faced an opponent that so terrified and yet pushed her to go above and beyond the norms of her typical fighting prowess. It wasn't so much fear now but a growing respect between two skilled if not differing fighters that were pulling out all the stops to win against one another, the nature of the unleashed fueling both to go near all out against one another.

"I know you ain't done..." she spoke taking a breath. Yori had to keep the pressure up and so only stayed for maybe a second or two to regain her composure before taking a running start towards the ropes, dashing back after rebound off of them to try and smash into Nagana again. This time a flying elbow strike that she aimed directly for her opponent's chest as they stood back up.

Shit! She really didn’t see that coming! Nagana had thought that Yori’s legs were shot! Sure the kitsune could get some quick bursts of speed, that much Nagana had expected, but nothing like that! Yori came at the snake woman almost as fast as she did at the very beginning of the match, as though nothing had happened at all. There was still a throbbing pain in Nagana’s scaly noggin where Yori scored her hit! It gave the snake woman a serious headache, to the point she held her forehead and stared at a corner post to try and steady her vision. She flicked her tongue out, trying to taste where Yori might be.

Fear, pain, frustration, determination, and adrenaline all over the place! Yori’s scent was all over the ring, doubtlessly the results of this prolonged match and Nagana’s headshot injury. No matter! It just meant that the Naga was still conscious! Yori made the mistake of talking, giving away her position in the ring. The snake woman would push herself up off the floor as her lower body helped her ascend once again. Her height was terrifying, Nagana turning around and looming over Yori like a shadow nightmare.

“Not done...not yet…”

Yori would suddenly dash off to the left, Nagana’s lower body pushing her upper half after the kitsune! The snake’s smile was gone, only her bright yellow eyes followed after her. Nagana’s arms looked ready to grapple, as though she would snatch the fox off the floor and tear her to shreds! But instead, Yori would rebound off the ropes, the two fighters coming at each other like a pair of freight trains about to crash head on! Yori’s elbow found its mark and speared Nagana right in the chest! A fierce, pained hiss scraped into Yori’s ears as the impact ran up her arm! But there would be another sensation she would feel…

Two powerful arms would slip around Yori’s waist, Nagana looking to lock in a bear hug around her slippery foe!

“You’re good...so I won’t trust my coil. I’ll finish this with my bare hands!”

Yori rushed in to try and smash her elbow right into the center of what she was expecting to be a still disoriented Nagana. Nagana however wasn't at all that out of shape and managed to raise herself back up to those nightmarish heights that made the fox woman at a pure disadvantage. It didn't stop her of course and soon both of them were coming towards each other with a new renewed vigor that crowd ate up immediately.

The impact was excellent square into the Naga's chest. A lesser opponent would have been easily taken out by this, but much to the horror of Yori it was not the case, instead arms were felt wrapping around the bodacious vixen and it wouldn't be long before a cry would escape her lips as her opponent began to use her strong arms to wrap her into a bearhug, slowly constricting her with only her strong and powerful arms.

"Gyuuuaaahhh!!" she cried out, attempting to push herself away.

Nagana was hurt by Yori’s elbow strike much more than she was letting on. The sharp pain rippling through her chest and collar wouldn’t go away no matter how much time was passing. Nagana didn’t have much time to think as she wrapped Yori up into her arms and began to crank down on the Kitsune with sheer force, but Nagana would soon learn that her collarbone had been broken after the fight. The pain was immense, not made any better by Yori pushing and shoving against her! Nagana was already putting all of her effort into crushing the opponent in her arms, to the point where she wasn’t even focused on her breathing or how it sounded! Nagana was sucking air through her teeth, every exhale turning into a bone chilling hiss! This hiss was more animalistic than the others. Pain, anger, and even a tint of fear was laced in that hiss. The promise of poisonous fangs danced in the mind of everyone who heard it as Nagana put all of her effort into squeezing down, breathing, and nothing else!

“GivessssSSSSSSSssssUP!”

The fox woman's back was in a serious state of pain as she tried to separate herself from Nagana, slowly feeling bones crack as the strength of her opponent could not be overestimated. All she could think of was the pain, the coiling pain as Yori felt like her back was going to be soon snapped in twain. She protested as much as se could, pushing away the best that she could do. Yori could hear that even Nagana was in pain as well and wondered what sort of pain that she even felt after taking such an attack.

"You... first... she spoke before letting out a cry as something felt like it had terribly popped.

Nagana’s nerves were searing! Something was definitely busted in the skeletal department, and as much as she wanted a break, it was probably prudent to finish the fight first before taking any kind of rest. Nagana was fairly sure that once she let go, she wouldn’t be able to use her arms for a good few hours afterwards. All she needed was for Yori to give herself up, and this fight would be over! The Serpent Striker made sure to give the Kitsune all the incentive she needed as she squeezed down on her back, Yori struggling more and more. Nagana had expected Yori to tap, to submit, anything by now! Her pained words slipped through her reptilian lips as she ordered Yori to give up! The math was taking its toll on both of them, but it didn’t need to if she just said those three magic words.

“You...first…!”

Nagana’s eyes widened a bit as disbelief hit her hard. Yori still wanted to continue this fight? Despite the crushing pressure on her back and the bruises on her body, she still wanted to keep this fight going?!? Nagana’s fangs retracted a bit as her yellow gaze met with the sharp glare of the Kitsune, the kunoichi still fighting even after her back just emitted a very nasty cracking sound! For a moment, the two simply looked at one another...until the Serpent's shoulders started to shake.

“Heh...Heh heh Ha Ha hahahahahahaha!”

Slowly, the pressure would ease off Yori’s back as Nagana slowly returned her foe to the floor. Soon, the Naga’s arms would fall back to her sides, completely limp as the snake woman herself chuckled softly. Nagana fell into what might have been a sitting position for her species, her shoulders slumped forward as her chuckles turned into sore coughs. Her once fearsome, fanged mouth was now relaxed into what looked to be a charmed smile.

“Heh heh! Oooh, you’re tougher than you look, little trickster! I’d thought for sure that last hug would take you out! Not too many people can hold out in a bind like that…”

Nagana’s eyes peeked at Yori, taking in some much needed breaths as her body relaxed on the floor, getting more sore by the second. Yori was tough, but while Nagana wasn’t trying to kill her, she could be hurting somewhere serious.

“You alright? I think you screwed up my collar bone with that stunt of yours, but I could still hear a nasty crack at the end there.”

Yori stared back at Nagana, fear and stubbornness in her eyes as held on to the pain, slowing her breathing in a calm manner as she tried to keep herself from passing out. That pop was something she didn't want know and wished she hadn't heard at all, but there was nothing that she could do about that anymore, what was heard had been. The only thing that mattered now was what Nagana did next, both tired from their battle so far. She could easily crush her or even bite her with venom tipped fang. Yet when it came to what happened she was partially surprised.

The fox woman would fall forward, coughing somewhat as she stumbled away. Nagana could have easily attacked her once again, down on the ground, slowly taking her down until there was no fight left, but the attack never came and Yori would kneel before a sitting Nagana. Even if the match was a brutal bout, both of them seemed to come to a show of respect of one another.

"How do you think my people survived this long..." she grimaced, feeling he back and her left side flare up in pain,"I'll live. Nothing they can't fix I guess... I know you folk grow teeth back, but that collarbone though. I'll try to be careful, no promises, this is still unleashed".

Yori would stand back up, getting back into a fighting stance, a painful grimace turning into a smile, "Not until they call it or one us can't fight right?" she spoke. It was clear she wasn't as spry anymore, reaction time seemingly slowed as the match dragged on.

“I always thought your people scurried under logs and hid away.”

Despite being a species of snake, Nagana was surprisingly honest as she used her good side to check the gap in her teeth. The needle-like fangs had been knocked clean out, which was a good thing. It meant she wouldn’t have to worry about picking any fragments out of her mouth later. Nothing could ruin swallowing a meal then feeling a jagged piece of bone poking her in the throat. There was a bit of blood pumping in her mouth, but not much more than she’d experienced before in fights like this, so it wasn’t anything she concerned herself with. What caught her interest was the fact that Yori was getting back up to her feet despite the pain in her body flaring up. Nagana’s yellow eyes glared at Yori as the kitsune put up her dukes and seemed keen on getting the fight started back up again…but the snake remained curled up in a pile, letting a gust of air slip through the new gap in her teeth.

“Are you kidding? I’m too sore for that sort of shit.”

Being a striker and grappler, Nagana didn’t want to risk making the injury even worse. Something like a busted collarbone could do some serious damage if it wasn’t treated, and the acute pain that was shooting through her shoulder and chest wasn’t doing her much favors at the moment. It didn’t take long for Nagana to reach her decision, raising her good arm up in the air to get the officials attention.

“Hey! Ref! I can’t go on with an arm like this, so I give up!”

Nagana didn’t mind being blunt, and remained close to the floor to ensure she didn’t freak Yori out. Last thing she needed was for the Kitsune to think she was playing her and eat a foot strike to the side of her head. In the end, this was just a fight for entertainment purposes, and while Nagana could be competitive, she still had a sense of self preservation.
