Hunter and Prey: Felix Vulpini (D) vs Tam Tenderpaw (D)

When Tammy managed to grab hold of Felix, she clung to him with the same desperation of a drowning person, trying her best to keep a handle on him. Her cheeks were flushed red with a mix of annoyance and embarrassment as her debut had been turned into some zany game of cat and mouse when all she wanted was a fight. It had always been her goal to achieve glory and paint her people in a broader brush than the stereotypes often cast on them but this wasn't how she had envisioned that journey would begin. Her fingers clutched at every scrap of fur she could dig into to help ensure her opponent couldn't weasel his way out of this one.

"We're supposed to be wrestling, you know. You can't actually win by being a coward." The scurio girl spoke down as if on a high horse, lecturing her fellow rookie like the kid he insisted on being. With a heavy thud, Tam's tail unfurled to drop to the canvas where it tensed, firmly planting itself. She pushed herself forward with a sudden jolt, kicking up both her feet off the mat and tucking her knees in close to attempt to drive both into Felix's body while suspending herself up by her tail. Her boots would drop back to the mat almost immediately after, reaffirming her grip on him to try to drag him towards the center of the ring with hopefully less physical resistance. She wasn't about to admit it, but he was giving her trouble with his frantic struggling.

If her body blow had taken some fight out of him, she would try to tug him forward and throw an arm around his head to lock him into a front headlock, priming for something more. Steadying her own footing, she would reach for the lip of his pants to grab hold of them firmly, to keep good control. With a loud grunt, she threw her weight back, tail curling off the mat as she attempted to hoist Felix up and over with a vertical suplex.

Felix's struggles were close to getting him free, so it seemed to him at least, but Tam had an advantage that he didn't. Well, rather, she had several that he didn't but the one of most prominence at the moment was definitely that tail of hers, allowing her to maintain balance and give her extra attack options, such as slamming both of her knees into his stomach at once!

Felix gasped, the air momentarily driven out of him and reducing his struggles for a few moments, which was all his opponent needed, as seconds later, he'd be held upside down, high into the air, his legs kicking wildly, before being brought down hard with a suplex, the pup arching his back in pain at the impact!

The ring shuddered, rattling from rope to rope as Felix was brought crashing down against the mat. A strong showing of just how capable the scurio girl could be when given the right moment to seize. The two parted on the canvas, her foxy foe to writhe in pain while she rolled into a low crouch to survey the damage. A soft pleased sound escaped her lips as they turned up into a small smirk. Splaying her fingers on the mat and lifting up onto the balls of her feet, her backside gave a small wiggle as she prepared herself to move again.

Kicking off the mat she threw her body vertical, expertly balancing her weight with a shift of her lean and pitch of her tail. Walking on her hands, she turned herself about slowly over the "Ooos" and "Ahhs" of the crowd for the feat itself as well as the lovely view being suspended upside down gave to them. With a flex of her arms, she lowered herself slightly before shoving off the ground, flopping backward with a tuck of her legs to land heavily on Felix's chest, pinning his shoulders with her knees as she attempted to straddle him. With a rush of air, her tail followed the motion, keeping all its momentum when it came slamming down to crush her opponent with all that force, looking to knock whatever he had left in the tank out completely. Keeping her weight of body and tail to hold him down, she leaned back with arms raised to flex her biceps while the referee dropped down to start the pinfall.

"One!"

Felix didn't know it yet, but he was in trouble. That suplex had hurt, much like everything the Scurio had thrown at him had hurt, and as he opened his eyes, looking at the world through an upside down lense, he saw a right-side up Tam? That didn't make sense unless she was also...

oh crap.

Before he could react, Tam's body came crashing down on him, her cute butt crashing down onto his chest, her knees landing hard on his shoulders. As if that already didn't knock the wind out of him, her heavy tail came down soon after, crashing onto his chest and stomach, and whatever air he had left in his body was smashed out of him leaving him dazed and gasping underneath her body as she pinned him!

"Two!"

"Three!"

Just like that, the pup who would be chief was defeated in his first ever match!

Tammy's tail weighed itself down over top of Felix, draped across the length of his body like a heavy blanket. The scurio herself was confident in her position atop, showing off to the crowd with a wide grin that seemed to go over quite well after her showing in the match. Each count was a given in her mind but her heart was still racing with some secret worry something would suddenly spring up and catch her off guard. No run-ins, no sneak attacks, just the distant chime of the victory bell as the third count came down to signal her first win in the league. She couldn't help but let out a laugh, all but forgetting the small embarrassment she had suffered earlier.

With a nimble rise, she sprang from Felix to her feet, legs spread with her defeated opponent beneath her. Bending down she looked at him from above with a cocksure smirk on her face and wagged a finger at him. "I expected more from a predator, sheesh. Guess you doggos aren't so tough after all... All bark and no bite. Ha!" Her tail circled wide, drifting down to lightly swat the side of his body. With a hopping stride, she stepped over him, throwing her arms up to continue her celebration alongside the referee.

"Ughh...I'm...I'm a fox..."

Felix groaned in response, wincing as he was lightly swatted with her tail. His debut match in this league he had traveled so far to finally reach...and he had been defeated.

One thing was certain, he definitely had a lot to learn if he was going to get better at this!
