Re: Community Feedback Please: Making Bio and Roster Changes.
I'm a little late to the party here, but thought that I would give my two cents as well.
I really like the idea of dividing the roster between brand, gender and alignment. I'd imagine it would really provide some beneficial structure when one has such a comprehensive and awesome roster as Yori. (And also with smaller rosters as well.) Obviously though, characters that are more neutral or tweener depending on circumstances may be difficult to place if the division is between heels and faces by default. Although that is obviously easily solved by having a third category...
An idea related to the ordering inside the categories - eagerness to play? Or status as "focus" or "main" or "side" characters? Now I know that such preferences can, and often do change quite frequently, but at least it's something, or a basic idea.
Also, regarding the discussion over W/L/D record, it's definitely something that is an interesting bit of information personally for me in each character, and I also try to keep those records of my characters reasonably updated. However, like already mentioned, it's not ideal if that record is solely considered to tell about a character's threat level. At least for me, there's a dilemma that there are characters who are not supposed to be jobbers, and actually are intended to be very capable wrestlers posing a decent threat, however, I just happen to often (or even usually) like playing them on the losing end. This can then cause that based on their record alone they might appear as very weak characters, which isn't really the way I had intended them to be. That's why I have chosen to present a "threat level" on the roster page, and only have the W/L/D record in the profile itself.

It can help to categorise your characters based on how you intend to use them / How much you consider them mains. You could divide it via brand as well to split it up so it looks a little like this:
Friction |
Main Cast - Characters with the most development. Those that you consider 'go to's etc. They most likely have developed storylines and Arcs of their own. |
Developmental - Characters who you want to develop, get more matches with. Build more storylines and relations with. They may be new characters, characters that started as fringe ones. |
Fringe - Specialist characters. Ones that you don't put alot of time into. There to be picked if people are looking for a very specific match types. |
Relegation - A bin of sorts. For characters that you no longer intend to develop, don't have muse for, or just want to shelf for a while. |
