Strategy: Athala is a brawler who primarily relies on strikes for the majority of her attacks. She is an expert kickboxer, and makes great use of her legs in a match. She can use kicks as method of attack in and of themselves, or as means to setup something more painful later on. She is decent enough in most wrestling maneuver's, but is still learning and is using most of her off-time to practice as much wrestling as possible. While she is most likely to act as if the bout is a kickboxing one, she'll try to throw in some wrestling maneuvers where she can. She can only perform basic submissions holds for the time being, and advance d moves are currently beyond her skill. Her vast knowledge of striking techniques more than makes up for this however, and she is still able to hold her own against most wrestlers.

her striking abilities revolve round a nine-point technique: Feet, Knees, Hands, and Head for a total of nine different appendages Athala can expertly bash into her opponent. Kicks and punches tend to be the most standard, while knees and headbutts tend to be looked more down upon in a wrestling match. Unless the nature of the match is otherwise, Athala will try not to rely too much on those moves, instead doing her best to intersperse her strikes with more traditional wrestling moves when she can.

Athala is equally at home in hentai matches. She can be rather rough, given that her lack of submissions techniques makes striking her primary means of subduing an opponent, but once she has an opponent groggy and weary enough, she is able o work wonders on their body. She is a practical fighter, going rough when she needs to and gentler when the time calls for it. That same logic follows her into hentai matches, where she doesn't mind get more rough in hardstyle bouts while also knowing where to be gentle in more softcore matchups.

Personality:

Athala is a mellow and down-to-earth kind of girl. She is never one to go out seeking trouble, or try to instigate a fight where one did not exist before. She is huge believer in "go with the flow," meaning she rarely tries to change the course of ongoing circumstances, but rather adapt to them. In the ring this is personified in a bunch of ways. If she is up against a highly aggressive, rude, and overall heelish wrestler, she may very well replicate those tactics as well. Similarly, if she is up against a much more meek friendly opponent, she will more than like reciprocate that same demeanor back on to them.

She matches the energy of those around, both as a way to put herself on equal foot, but also as an overall philosophy to life. To her, life is easiest when you are in sync with your surrounding, and chaotic conflict arises when two starkly different forces tend to clash. By being  rough when she needs to be, and practical when she can, she can put herself in a position that is always adaptable to her situation. If you try and provoke her, she won't necessarily try to calm things down. She will simply respond in kind, matching the same levels of provocation that you placed on her.

Some find her antics annoying and somewhat unpredictable, while others appreciate the fact that she is able to easily adapt to so many personalities depending on the situation. Either way, Athala enjoys this trait about her, viewing it as the ultimate key to succeeding both in life and in the ring.


Past/History:

Athala was born into a family of fighters in Hamburg Germany. Her parents were both originally of Dutch decent, and both had mastered the art of Dutch kickboxing. She took picked up the martial art at a very young age, training with her parents almost as soon as she could walk. The ring is her home perhaps even more so than her actual dwelling. She spent some much time training, practicing, and fighting in gyms that she could hardly recall a time where she did anything else. Her adaptable personality made her many friends, as well as many enemies. Few would dare actually confront her though, as it was well known that Athala would probably stomp you into the ground.

She had amassed a prefect record by the time she was in the middle of her teenage years, going undefeated in amateur kickboxing circuits. She soon became increasingly confident of her abilities, so much so that she wanted to test her skills against other forms of her fighting. Although her parents were somewhat hesitant, they allowed her to enroll in an amateur mma event for German teens, one that was full contact and without the usual protective equipment.

She had never fought in mma before, but was so confident in her kickboxing skills that she entered the caged without any worry. While her first few matches went decently well, she did take more damage than she would have had it been a standard kickboxing bout. Nevertheless, she managed to stay on her feet for the entirety of her firs two matches, avoiding the ground like a plague considering she knew how vulnerable she would be down there.

Unfortunately for her, she wasn't able to maintain that strategy in her third match. Her opponent recognized her weakness almost immediately, and managed to bring her to the ground right away. Athala was taking quite the beating but despite that held out for as long as she could on the ground. Eventually the ref had figured that she had had enough, and a stoppage was called to the fight. Athala ended up having to see a medic for her injuries, and she remained gloomy after having finally witnessed her first defeat. She went back to kickboxing, deciding it was best just to stick with what she was good at for now.

It wasn't until she entered adulthood that she made the decision to try varying up her fight game once again. This time she enrolled at a pro wrestling camp, trying to learn some skills before making the same mistake of last time of plunging into a match ill prepared. She stayed in the academy for a few months, learning valuable skills before finally competing in her first match. She managed to actually win the fight, and was surprised at how effective her abilities in kickboxing combined with basic pro wrestling had ended up being. Even more to her surprise, an AFW recruiter just so happened to be in the audience, and approached her after the fight was over.

While she was still very much a young amateur, they saw great potential in her and offered her a spot in the league. Delighted, Athala immediately accepted and began preparing for her debut in Japan. She watched several matches, eventually learning about the hentai variant that AFW offered, something she was very eager to participate in. Fight and fuck, while getting paid for it? What else could she ask for? With still much to learn in the ways of wrestling, Athala is confident that her skills as a striker will still serve her very well in the infamously rough AFW.
