Managerial Responsibilities: Elizabeth loves fights, period. The chance to learn more about pro-wrestling and martial arts leaves her door open to practically any client. Money is no object for her. No matter what level of investment it takes, she’ll make any wrestler shine and keep them in optimal condition. Nothing but the best will ever do for Elizabeth, whether it's for their diets, workout routines, or public appearances, which is partly because of her overly-excited nature. It’s not about profit for her as much as it is meeting the end goal.
As such, she isn’t one to care about efficiency. What’s important to her is that her fighters have the ideal environment to perform their arts to the best of their abilities. Though her tendency to be excessive in this regard can usually be quelled by a sensible voice and a rational argument. As much as Elizabeth cares for her own ambition, she’s considerate enough to listen to consider her clients first.
Personality: Elizabeth looks, dresses, and carries herself like a proud, rich woman from a proud, rich family, sailing through life on the back of her pedigree. With a regal air of authority and presence, people naturally (and correctly) estimate her station in life to be fairly high. However, despite a pretentious upbringing, she’s comfortable around people outside of her usual, affluent social strata and keeps a relaxed, down-to-earth quality about her. She views every decision and opportunity through a lens of logic and careful reasoning.
But really, Elizabeth is first and foremost a massive geek in two respects: fighting and science. Obsessed with all forms of martial arts, she has a tendency to become easily excited at the prospect of new techniques. Talking about her personal passions can make her come across as pushy and assertive. A naturally prospective thinker with her eyes always on the future, she is incredibly open-minded and eager to absorb as much knowledge as she can. What she cares more about than success and wealth is pursuing her dream to lead the future of combat sports no matter where that idealistic vision might lead her.
Appearance: Winterbournes are said to be born with naturally pale complexions and glimmering white hair that flows like classical silk. An intelligent face and analytical eyes not uncommonly found within her familial estate. In her obsession with everything martial arts, Elizabeth has developed an incredibly robust and muscular frame. She doesn't appear to find it that impressive, however.

Background
______________________________________
As one of the earliest investors to the Honourable East India Company, the Winterbourne family steadily developed their wealth from humble, mercantile beginnings to one of the premier distributors of opium and other exotic goods throughout Britannia. The house established a strict academic and martial regimen consolidated their holdings and managed to retain some modicum of hospitality that would be steadily built upon over the years into their fortune. Each and every lineage henceforth was pushed without exception to study the arts of cordial relations, globalism, and diplomacy. Today, they reside as the heads of a stagnant international trading conglomerate.
It was with this pedigree that Elizabeth came forth into the modern world as the family’s first heiress. While doubt transpired throughout the manor to the near foreign concept of female leadership, Elizabeth took to her studies with seemingly no trouble at all. From advanced schooling she received top marks, adapting quickly to complex theory and arithmetic.
The same couldn’t be said for her life outside the manor. Even in the rather privileged environment of one of the best private schools in the UK, her status earned her no small amount of bullying. But her passion for karate assuaded those fears. Trained in self-defense from an early age, Elizabeth had no trouble dispatching her would-be tormentors, though it ultimately did little for her sense of isolation. As the years passed, she steadily became reclusive and cold. She felt guided by little more than a faint, unbreakable thread of her familial lineage; simply drifting towards her inevitable role and ostracized from anything else.
At sixteen years-old, on a private tour to Greece, Elizabeth stopped by chance at a quaint little restaurant by the sea and finally met her first friend, Atalante. An up-and-coming pro wrestler, Atalante was as fearless as she was passionate about her lifelong hobby as a Greco-Romani. Elizabeth found time in her schedule to sneak away to some of her private spars and matches. Her cousin, Apollo, simultaneously introduced Elizabeth to the more brutal world of mixed martial arts and various styles blended into one arena. Seeing the dichotomy of these two worlds intrigued her. On a whim to satisfy her curiosity, Elizabeth opted into a pair of amateur matches; professional wrestling and mixed martial arts, only to leave the locals speechless by winning both fights handily. All of a sudden, two matches turned to four. Which turned to six. Then eight. Then ten. In those moments, the heiress became infected with a feeling she’d been without for the majority of her life: success and pride. Reinvigorated, she returned to Wales with a new direction and a new hobby.
Sports and recreation steadily became a central part of Elizabeth’s life. Between pursuing her theories in physical rehabilitation and nanotechnology inside a small Oxford laboratory, she filled whatever free time cropped up in her ever-cumbersome schedule with scrupulous bodybuilding and amateur cage fights. Her familial wealth and accumulated prize money supplemented trips to every corner over the world. Though rather than spending her days in the financial districts and commercial hubs on the modern-day, she assimilated herself into the remote regions and distant villages, poised to explore the roots of humanity’s earliest talent: combat. As both an observant and participant on many occasions, she had the chance to come closer than most. Fighting chiefs, fighting warriors, fighting enemies, fighting friends; from ceremonial tribes in the Philippines to underground nightclubs in Brazil. Elizabeth came to understand combat as part of the human condition, a key component in individual growth, and began to dream of ways to elevate it.
When Elizabeth finally assumed the throne, things quickly fell apart. Elizabeth sought to reform the family’s history. Spice trading and oil were a finite enterprise; a means to an end to stabilize their dwindling finances. She was convinced in her bold new vision that combat sports and weapons development would be the way of the future. From her studies abroad, she drafted ideas incorporating the methods of protection and self-defense from all across the world into modern technology to produce the next wave of combat sports. Only a week into her start as Chairwoman, she presented a radical plan for reform involving fighting tournaments worldwide and the development of their own brand of what she termed "fight tech". Infighting was rampant, sister families and shareholders concerned for their stakes made several attempts to appeal with no success.
Their new division, WinTech, began research into a series of prototypes that received mixed responses from athletic associations and the scientific community. Several designs geared towards rehabilitation and muscle growth were acknowledged as having great potential. Several major leagues from the UFC to the MLB had invested major stock into WinTech and adopted their latest prototypes to assist with all sorts of injuries for their players. However, their innovations in apparel and enhancements to performance were disappointing. Exaggerated claims, flimsy protection, lacking flexibility. The team went back to the drawing board several times but there was a clear issue of simply having too few samples and even less ideal models to work from. WinTech understood the science, but not the reality of what it meant for humans to push their limits under the spotlight. If Elizabeth desired the best in performance, she would have to find the best performers to serve as a foundation.
Getting back in touch with an old acquaintance, Atlante quickly pointed her in the direction of the largest premier league in the world, AFW. Atalante and her cousin had already been offered a spot on the roster. Elizabeth decided to seize the opportunity to travel incognito as their manager and secure her own space in the league by proxy. Assuming control over her conglomerate’s Japanese branch, she was now poised to tie together the latest in WinTech research with the best fighting talents the globe could muster.
Fun Facts:
- Trilingual; English, German, and Mandarin Chinese. Still brushing up on her Japanese.
- Elizabeth is a giant, dedicated, obsessive, passionate, totally ashamed, closet Doctor Who fan. Yes, including the old series. She isn’t embarrassed about being a fan necessarily, but rather by how much she’s let it influence her and her work. Her phone is loaded with podcasts, she’ll put on an episode in the background, and (“accidentally”) quote some of her favorite lines. She’s gone to surprisingly great lengths to hide this from the world.
- Hates mochi balls. She finds the texture unbearable and basically all around indigestible. Feeding her one will produce a gag reflex with even more unbecoming symptoms to follow.
