Trinette Vaillant (D) Vs. Violette Aonlous

This was to be the first match of Trinette here in Friction but it wasn't her first appearance in the league. Her first appearance had been when she had stopped her old friend Violette Anolous from brutalizing a young wrestler after she had defeated them in a match. As the noble knight she was, Trinette couldn't stand seeing such an act and whenever she was able she would stop it, but it was far worse to see such an act from her friend and a woman whom Trinette respected but a few years ago. She had to find out what had happened with her friend and if possible knock back some sense into her skull. If it meant that she had to fight her then that was what the Paladin was going to do. Though it seemed that the mind of Violette had been far more tainted and twisted than Trinette had first thought. As when they were face to face, Violette had chosen to strike her in an underhanded manner instead of waiting to face her fair and square. That was not something that the Violette she knew would ever do....

Standing at the Gorilla Position, the blue haired newcomer had a lot of the stage hands buzzing around her. Both talking to her, leering at her and admiring the newcomer, Trinette was happily conversing with the people as they were giving her words of encouragement. It seemed as if her hero act had garnered her a bit of respect from the stage hands...

When they were all ready, the stage hands quickly dispersed and the music of Trinette hit the speakers. Paladin by Freedom Call sounded the entrance of the young French Wrestler, Trinette the Paladin! Who was met with a fair bit of cheers for a newcomer probably because of her standing up to the bully that was Violette. Marching her way down towards the ring as she would ascend the steps and then slip into the ring. Trinette would walk up to the center of the ring and stand proudly there as she looked out over at the crowd. Crossing her right arm across her chest so her fist pressed against her opposing shoulder as she would lean forward and give a slight bow to the crowd. A move befitting of a knight presenting themselves to the people, showing them respect. She would turn and walk towards her corner where Trinette would start to roll her shoulders and do some final stretching, waiting for Violette - The Slayer to make her way to the ring.

It was time again for Violette to have another match, this time against an old friend, Trinette.  Trinette had interfered after the end of a match.  Violette had planned on sending a message to everyone in AFW, and her old friend had ruined it, so now there was only one solution left, turn Trinette into a message.  She had already hit her with a low blow and a headbutt, something that Violette considered a small appetizer of what was to come.

Now fully dressed, Violette would make her way out of her locker room and towards the Gorilla position.  Resting on her shoulder was her spiked metal baseball bat that she was holding with one hand, known as ‘Tough Love,’ a weapon she enjoyed using in more extreme matches.  Though she couldn’t use it in this match, she would still bring it.  The young wrestler would then look at the stagehands, giving them a glare, and they would quickly scatter.  She would then wait for her old friend’s entrance music to end.

After a moment passed, Violette would then hear her music playing and would start to make her way down to the wrestling ring.  As she came down the ramp, her eyes would lock onto her opponent.  The audience would boo her, some even taunting her, but Violette would ignore them; she had one objective and wouldn’t let anything get in her way.

Once at the edge of the ring, she would circle around it, keeping her eyes on Trinette and seeing how she reacted to this.  She was playing a psychological game with her.  After fully circling the ring, she would then climb the steps and enter the ring.  The bat was still on her back, and the official would come up to her and tell her to put it away.  Violette, though, would ignore the official, not paying him any attention; instead, she took a few steps towards her opponent.  “Ready for your beatdown?” asked Violette as she now held her bat with both hands,  ready to swing it.

Trinette's eyes would turn towards the top of the ramp when the music of Violette began to play out of the speakers, she narrowed her eyes as she saw her old friend walk down towards the ring. Seeing that spiked bat on her shoulders, the French wrestler would roll her shoulders and slowly step out of her corner. Walking up to the center of the ring so she could meet Violette in the squared circle.

The Paladin showed no signs of fear, even when her friend began to circle the ring, she waited for her to enter it and the placed her hands on her hips. Standing firm and resolute as she would see the referee step up to Violette and tell her to get rid of the bat, but it seemed Violette wasn't intent on listening. Instead she held onto that bat with both hands, clearly ready to swing at any moment.

Trinette would take a deep breath, eyes narrowing a bit as she kept her eyes fixed on Violette. Not allowing them to leave her visage for even one second. Her words though would be directed to the referee. "Ring the bell." She would say. Unwavering in her voice, Trinette would wait for the referee to ring the bell as she stood face to face with Violette. Waiting to see what her old friend planned to do.

It seemed that Trinette was not scared, a bit of a shame, but that would just make beating her up in this ring all the more enjoyable. Violette would now have a smirk on her face as the two now faced to face. Despite what Trinette said to the referee, she would not ring the bell, still trying to get Violette to give up the bat. “Eager to get started, not sure if you’re brave or stupid, probably a bit of both.” said Violette before she would then bring the baseball bat off her shoulder and then hand it to the referee.

The referee would take the bat and place it outside the ring, so there were no weapons in reach. Violette would not step back, staying at the center of the ring, close to her old friend. The referee would then try to get them to put some distance, but Violette would keep her eyes locked on Trinette. “You heard her, start the match.” said Violette as she then waited for the bell to be rung. With that, the referee would then signal for the bell to be rung.

**DING DING DING**

With that, the match would get underway. As this was a regular match, Violette couldn’t perform too many dirty tricks. However, she could show who was the stronger one here. She would move in and attempt to enter a collar and elbow tie-up. It was now time to see what Trinette had.

Trinette as per usual wasn't the kind to show fear, after all a knight had to be courageous or they weren't a knight. Even in the most dire of situations one wasn't supposed to show fear. Even if they might feel it, right now though as Violette stood in front of her and attempted to be imposing and threatening with that bat over her shoulder, Trinette wouldn't even flinch. She remained steadfast and stoic in front of her old friend.

"Bravery and stupidity are pretty closely related. A little bit of both perhaps, but mostly I just want to get this started to that I can knock some sense into you." The Paladin spoke to the Slayer as she would watch her then give the bat to the referee who took it out of the ring and removed it from the action. Trinette would narrow her eyes a bit as Violette remained pressed up against her and refused to back away. Trinette would remain fixed as well...not giving an inch as the referee asked her to back up, she disliked not following the orders of the referee but her current situation took precedence as she wouldn't back down.

The bell rang and with it the match had started. Trinette saw how Violette would move in and attempt a collar and elbow tie-up. Trinette would lock up with Violette and begin to press against her, trying to force her rival back!

Violette would smirk at Trinette’s comment. She remembered being just like her, naive and thinking you could win no matter the odds. “When this is over, I will change you and make you realize how wrong you were.” replied Violette in response to her childhood friend.

With the bell rang, the two would now engage each other in a collar and elbow tie-up. Violette would find herself slowly being pushed back by Trinette. She would slowly find herself getting closer and closer to the turnbuckle. Violette would change her tactics; instead of pushing, she would attempt to pull her opponent down towards while bring her knee up, trying to hit Trinette with a brutal knee to the chin.

Trinette and Violette had now locked up and it seemed as if the match was on it's way to a fair and honest start. One where Trinette took a quick lead, showing off a bit of power as she started to force Violette backwards. It looked as if she was going to be able to force Violette all the way back into the corner but at the last second the fellow French wrestler decided to break off this honorable contest of theirs.

Grabbed at the back of her head, Trinette's head was forced down and that knee of Violette then came smashing up into the chin of the Paladin. "Gngh!" Trinette cried out through gritted teeth as her head was shot backwards, sending her stumbling backwards as the lock up was broken.

The collar and elbow tie-up was an excellent way to gauge your opponent; it allowed you to determine their strength, reaction time and how good they were as a technical wrestler. Violette would use it for one last test to see how good Trinette was at dealing with dirty attacks. Pulling her opponent down, she threw a brutal knee strike right at her opponent’s chin. The attack connected, and it forced her opponent to retreat. The audience would winch in response to the move. The announcers would comment about how it was a dirty move, but it also talked about how it was a hard-hitting move. Violette herself felt that the knee strike was a great way to start the match.

“You already let your guard down, and now I will take advantage of that and start punishing you.” said Violette as she moved forward, closing the distance before attempting to throw a knee strike right into her opponent’s stomach. The idea was to take the oxygen out of her and set her up for some more brutal moves.

Trinette hadn't expected Violette to go for a knee strike to her chin of all things, for the moment it was looking as she was beating her old friend in a classic lock up and then suddenly she felt that knee smack into her chin as Violette changed tactics and went for something that the Paladin perhaps should have expected seeing the state of Violette only a few days before.

Dazed by that knee strike she was then struck once more with that knee as it came in and drove right into the French wrestler's abs. "Guuh!" Trinette would gasp out as she was forced to stagger backwards, doubling over a bit as her arms would wrap around her midsection.

The match was still in its early stages, but so far, things were going well for Violette, which made her feel confident. She intended to show Trinette how brutal a match was and the consequences that came with it as well. Violette would now start to charge forward before sending her leg up in the air and trying to have her boot smack Trinette right in the face, trying to knock her off her feet with a big boot.
