Gemini vs. Lock and Key - Fresh Meat

Lock was already starting to like Katie, despite her best efforts not to. Athletic spitfire, bold and gutsy, rather cute, too, if a bit young for her tastes. She seemed to be the smarter member of the team, by a wide margin, with good ring awareness. That would get her far - not in this match, but there was a future for it.

When she rose up in an instant after the dropkick, Lock had to step back, surprised by the sudden recovery and not knowing what to expect. At the bare minimum, though, she thought the next attack would be coming her way. The great surprise came in when she learned that wasn’t the case.

”Fucking-” That brief curse was all that Key had the time blurt out before Katie’s dropkick landed, sending her careering off the apron to the floor below. A brave move, and there was some obvious logic to it, trying to clear out any threats at her blindside…but it gave Lock an opening, and she rushed in to take it.

She stepped in, planted her feet in range as Katie was making her way back up, and lashed out with a quick roundhouse kick to the face - her signature move, the Lockpick.

Taking out Key like that was, in Katies mind, completely justified, both getting a little bit of payback for the damage her brother had taken at the hands of the red-headed woman, and also making sure there would be no tricks coming from behind her as she fought the blonde.

Unfortunately, it also meant taking her eye off of her current opponent as well, however briefly.

"Katie! Look out!"

Elliot tried to warn his sister, but it was too late, as she turned around just in time to see a blur of motion before a sharp shoe smashed into the side of the teenagers face, getting a pained cry out of her as her body was knocked to the side, rolling on the mat before coming to a stop on her front, Katie knocked senseless from the powerful surprise kick!

Quick. Precise. Powerful. Effective.

Lock’s kick checked all the boxes, and sure enough, it worked like a charm. Down went Katie, clean and easy. She wasn’t unconscious and probably not pinnable, but she wouldn’t be getting up for a few moments. Which was good, because Lock wanted to check up on her partner.

Just to be safe, though, she walked over and planted her foot on Katie’s hand, mashing it into the ground to keep her in place while she looked over to the side with folded arms and the mildest look of concern. ”Ophelia, are you all right?”

”Fucking cunt!”

Yes, she was fine.

Sure enough Key was up and already making her way back onto the apron, cursing up a storm on the way. She was far too tough to get waylaid by a blow like that for long, especially when she was still mostly fresh, but her pride was damaged most of all. ”Stupid prat. Tag me the fuck back in, come on.”

”Easy, easy.” Lock waved her off and looked back down on her opponent, grinding her heel a bit to pile on the pain. ”I just got in here. Rest up a little first, I’ll let you have a piece soon enough.”

Elliot watched on with concern as his twin sister groaned and writhed on the mat, not down for the count yet, but definitely knocked for one hell of a loop after that kick. This was bad, he had no idea who these two women were, but they were definitely on another level that they weren't prepared for.

He winced as Katie screamed, her poor hand stomped on by those painful heels and grinded onto, causing the dazed girl to cry out and grab at Lock's foot with her other hand, trying to force her foot up to free her hand. "Get off! Get off!" She yelled, while her poor hand was being mangled.

Funnily enough, Lock did exactly what Katie asked for and let her foot off, giving the poor girl’s hand some much needed relief. It might’ve seemed like an act of mercy, and maybe it was, in a small way. But more than anything, it was because she wanted to move on with this match, and she had plans that didn’t at all involve keeping her opponent on the floor. No, no, no. There was work to do.

She gave Katie only a few seconds of respite before she reached down and grabbed her opponent by the head, clamping on tight to her hair and forcing her to stand as she brought her away from the ropes. The referee chastised her for that, of course, but the protests fell on deaf ears.

One knee, two knees, three knees. Lock pulled Katie into a tight clinch and rattled off those three blows in quick succession, hammering her in the stomach as she drove her back, forcing her to stand straight so she could take the full brunt of each blow.

Getting her hand free did Katie little favors, it was practically useless for the moment, as in agony as it was, and Lock wasted no time in yanking her up by her hair, getting a cry out of the cheerleader, though even THAT was soon shortened by her knee smashing hard into Katies stomach not once, but three times, each hard shot getting spittle and air to escape the teens mouth, leaving her winded and whimpering in Locks grip while Elliot looked on in horror and what was about to happen to his twin sister!

Lock’s legs were lethal weapons, and she had no qualms using them to their fullest extent to hammer Katie. The girl had spirit, she wouldn’t deny her that, but there was only so far that would take her when she was up against power.

Knee after knee after knee, driving her back, keeping her standing. Lock pushed hard, until they were all the way to the corner, then slammed her ragdoll body up against the pads.

”So, tell me.” Lock brought her leg up, grabbed the ropes, and pressed her heel against Katie’s neck, pushing against it as she leaned in. ”Are you having second thoughts, now? About all of this?”

The drive to the corner was a nightmare for Katie, as she was barraged with knee after knee, each shot getting a gasp from her until, by the time she was trapped in the corner, she had no air left, something Lock did nothing to help with as she placed her heel against Katies neck, forcing her head back and getting a yell from the referee, who began counting to five as Katie just choked, unable to reply.

From the apron, Elliot watched on, his body still aching, but looking alarmed. These two were absolutely NOT the fellow rookies he'd been told they were facing, and while it was against the rules for him to get in the ring without a tag, he didn't know how long he could stand here watching this!
