Gemini vs. Lock and Key - Fresh Meat

If she didn’t get him going, she’d get him coming. Down he went.

It was a clean hit, and despite the slender look off Lock’s legs, they had a considerable amount of power. Well-trained, honed, quick, they cracked around Eliot’s face like a whip and brought him down hard, leaving him laid out as the audience winced.

She kept her leg in the air, chambered and sighed. Just another day at the office.

With a soft hum, she brought her foot to the mat and strolled forward, her skirt flowing behind as she went. She made her way around his downed form, flashing his sister a soft smile and waving her way as she passed, and stood near his head. Hands on hips, she looked down on him, contemplating him for a moment.

Until she brought her boot up, tenderly placed it on his throat, and began applying pressure, choking him under her heel. The referee wouldn’t allow her to do it for very long, she was sure, but it would get the message across.

That...hurt. So very, very much.

Elliot could just whimper on the mat, the rookie kid finally realizing that they were biting off far more than they could chew in their debut match, a point Locke seemed to want cemented as she stepped on his throat, causing the blonde boy to look up at her with fear in his eyes as she started to choke him, his thin legs kicking as she started to cut off his air supply, hands grabbing at her heel.

"Stop it!" Katie yelled at the dominant blonde, "You don't need to torment him!" She protested, reaching out her hand as far as she could to try and tag herself in, though Elliot was nowhere close enough for that to happen.

The reprieve Elliot was given didn't do much to aid the boy, as he stayed on the mat for a while longer before finally moving, grabbing the ropes to pull himself back up to his feet, his knees shaking. Even though he hadn't been in the ring long, it was clear he had taken some damage as he limped his way to the corner, Katie looking on with concern and offering her hand out for a tag.

To her surprise though, he waved it off!

"Elliot! You need to tag out, your hurt!"

But Elliot shook his head, looking at his twin sister with a frown.

"No way...look...they got us beat, we got set up or something, these were not the rookies we were promised to debut against. I'm keeping you out of this."

Elliot explained, refusing her outstretched hand and moving away from the corner, rubbing the side of his head to try and soothe it as he looked at Locke. "I can still go, and there's no need to hurt my sister. Got it?"

As content as Lock was to have an out and out squash, she did want to demonstrate what she was capable of with an opponent who hadn’t just been beaten within an inch of his life. She had low expectations for this team in general, but the sister was fresh, and she had a better idea of what she was dealing with. Maybe she wouldn’t be a real challenge, but she could presumably survive long enough to be more than a punching bag.

So, with that in mind, she had an instant response to Eliot’s show of bravery.

”You’re being an idiot.”

She took a single step into range and struck out again, this time coming at him with a sharp kick aimed at the side of the knee, looking to make him buckle. Without missing a beat, she brought that same leg higher and doubled up, giving his ribs a tap from the tip of her boot.

He was going to tag out. She only needed to give him more incentive.

The truth was...Locke wasn't wrong at all. While Elliots goal may have been a noble one, he really was, in truth, just being a stubborn idiot. Ultimately, his show of defiance didn't last long, as the sudden double shot from Locke caught him perfectly hos she wanted, the kick to his knee making his body buckle and fall to one knee, while the follow up to his ribs sent him flying back into his teams corner turnbuckle.

With Elliot clearly hurting and needing time to recover and rest, Katie, impetuously, tagged herself in, ignoring her brothers protests and grabbing the top rope, leaping to the top of it and springboarding off, aiming to try and crash into Locke with a flying crossbody off the top, eager to get some payback for her brothers wounds!

God, men could be such idiots. Eliot was in pain, had been hurt, was getting run ragged, and he refused to tag in his sister because...why, exactly? They were in a tag team. What, did he expect to go their entire career without tagging in his partner?

Whatever. She would make him see the folly behind his decision with a few well placed kicks.

She was about to get into position to deliver that kick when Eliot’s sister decided to take the initiative and tagged in, jumping high and fast. The sheer alacrity of the move was enough to take her off guard, and the smaller woman came crashing down across her chest, bringing her down hard to the mat.

It knocked the wind out of her, but she rolled with the blow and came up to a knee nearby. She was out of it for the moment, though.

Good. Much better.

Elliot, now no longer the legal fighter, was yelled at by the referee to get back onto the apron, and did as he was told, saying nothing, but looking very concerned as he sat down on the ring apron, clearly hurting and sore, breathing heavily. They were completely outmatched by these women, he had zero doubt about that, and was extremely worried for what this meant for his dear twin sister.

Katie, meanwhile, was rather ticked off, pointing at Locke and Key. "I don't care that your older or bigger or how tough you think you are, you hurt my brother, and I'm gonna make you regret it!" She exclaimed, before rushing at Locke, leaping upwards and kicking both legs out, trying to dropkick the blonde woman in the chest!

Lock was fairly certain she heard the distinct sound of Key snickering nearby, and she wasn’t too surprised. After the easy time she’d had with the boy, she was likely expecting Lock to take it without a problem. Clear as day, that wasn’t going to be the case, but it wasn’t going to be for lack of trying.

Lock had no way of knowing if Katie was any more skilled or stronger than her brother, but she certainly had a fire he lacked, if this opening volley was anything to go by. She had only just stood up when the little firecracker was on her again, flying her way with legs shooting out,

The blow would’ve knocked her flat again if it connected, but her reflexes were too good for it - nearly, thankfully, she was able to juke out of the way and spin off, leaping a few feet away. She didn’t move in to taking advantage of the opportunity, though. Instead, she stayed light, toes tapping with a light bounce as she moved around the ring, keeping her focus on Katie, waiting to see what her foe would do next.

Despite Katie's speed, indeed, faster than her brother, Lock was still quick enough to react and move, dodging Katie's attempted dropkick and letting the girl land flat onto her back on the mat.

But to her credit, Katie was only down for a couple moments before kipping up back to her feet, the young cheerleader finding Lock and, realizing Key was on the apron behind her now, suddenly turned and dashed towards the redhead on the apron, attempting another dropkick, this time with the goal of kicking Key right off of the apron in payback for how she abused her brother!
