AV 20 Masuyo Ai vs. Roxy Ashworthy

Roxy had every intention of hurting that leg of Masuyo, maybe even intending to break it and put a stop to this match before it barely had gotten started. As she sought to check that leg which she had to admit, she was impressed with how the Japanese girl managed to stave off possible injury, though it still must have been painful. As she turned her leg limp and took the impact, dispersing it pretty much through her leg and avoiding a broken shin bone.

The grenette wasn't about to slow down though, she place her foot down and as Masuyo stepped in and sought to throw her punches, she was already moving! Ducking in and trying to get in between Masuyo's guard and her body, as she would then shift, turning around and trying to snatch a hold of her arm, in a fluid and lighting fast motion she tried to pull and throw the raven haired fighter over her shoulder in a Seoi Nage so smooth that it should just have been named after her at this point.

If she managed to throw Masuyo down, she intended to keep hold of that arm and quickly try and drop down and drape her legs over Masuyo's chest, going for an armbar submission hold!

A Seoi Nage. Masuyo knew one was coming.

Roxy's judo was renowned even outside of AFW. Masuyo had readied herself for plenty of grapples and throws, she could see the judoka at work on the mats and extended that into her aikido training. She had created the best mirror image of Roxy and fought against it for weeks.

Nothing prepared her for the speed. One moment she was advancing on her and the next her fist was hitting an afterimage. Masuyo’s eyes widened as her arm was seized and her world was filled upside down. Barely able to control her descent in the instant she had to think, her hand flew out on reflex and slapped the ground, absorbing a chunk of the shock that her spine and lungs would be feeling only a second after. Her back arched from the floor only to be slammed back down by two toned legs stretched across her chest.

That was when she felt her arm being seized. Masuyo reached across and quickly clasped her hands together before Roxy could fall back with it. Her hands locked as tightly as they could, refusing to let Roxy pull one of them away with everything she had. That wouldn't last, of course. Anyone could tell by looking at the greenette how strong she was and with leverage on her side. Masuyo's seconds were numbered.

The Japanese fighter bridged her body in an attempt to raise Roxy's legs from her chest, creating a small opening to tuck in and wedge her head underneath. She kept a firm hold of her hand, using the leverage to thread through the motion. If she managed to wiggle free from the American's pin, Masuyo would move to sit up and twist herself onto one knee between Roxy's leg, bringing the two of them into a full guard position. From there, the Demon would have the freedom to hammerfirst down on Roxy’s face in a bid to get her to break.
