Rainbow Mika vs. Army 'Armando' Rodriguez - Cyclone Warning

Not even a two count?

It was close, mind you, with the referee on her way to bringing the hammer down a second time, but he didn’t quite make the cut. Army rolled off her after the kickout and came up to a sit, looking her way while he rested a hand on his upturned knee. She still had a lot of fight in her, and it was what he expected, but being in the ring with her was making him better understand the task. Rainbow Mika wasn’t going down quick.

But she would go down. He could make that happen.

The first step was to get her up and keep the pain train rolling. He reached over, took her by the wrist, and got back up to his feet, pulling her up along with him. Once she was on her two feet, Army jerked back, twisted around, and sent her running off to the far corner with an Irish Whip, lunging forward as he moved to get some extra force behind it.

Mika was still btreathing hard as she managed to kick out, forcing Army off of her as she rolled to the side, still clutching her hurting chest. Slowly, she tried to get up to her knees, trying to get back to her feet and back into this match. Unfortunately, Army was one step ahead of her, grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her back to her feet. Alarm bells rang in Mika's blonde head, knowing that whatever Army was up to, it couldn't be good.

She was proven right as Army spun, whipping her towards the corner. Her eyes widened, especially since Army didn't whip so much as hurl her towards the corner. She was unable to spin in time, and slammed, chest first, into the waiting corner post. For the second time in this match, her chest took the brunt of the blow, and she was sent spinning around, grabbing deperately onto the top rope to keep from collapsing as she clutched her hurting chest, rasping for breath as she sprawled into the corner.

Army’s Irish Whip didn’t just work, but worked damn well - Rainbow Mika crashed hard into the corner, hammering on the chest, and it left her reeling and open.

So now Army had a few options. He could just waltz on over and pop her in the face, could come over there and pound her into the corner, could run over fast and nail her with a few things. Or he could try something a little special.

Thanks to his training with Felicia, he’d picked up a few new tricks, dipping a toe or two into kickboxing. He wasn’t about to start showing up in muay thai tourneys or anything, but he was expanding his toolkit, and this was the time to pull it off.

Army ran away from Mika instead of running to her right away, spinning around to smack into the opposite corner with his back. With the entire ring to build up momentum, he went charging forward at full steam, leaped up, and sent his knee flying towards her skull at top speed.

"Eh...hahh..."Mika was breathing hard now as she propped herself up on the corner, still holding one arm across her heaving bosom. Damn, those musces of Army's weren't simply for show, she realized, he could actually throw pretty hard. Gritting her teeth, she tried to focus on her opponent, who was suddenly running away from her. Running away, she realized, to bounce off of the ropes and build up momentum as he come towards her in a big, stomping charge.

Well, hurt as she was, she wasn't about to let herself get hit by that.

As Army came charging forwards, Mika suddenly kicked her leg up, hoping that her boot would connect with Army's charging face. If it landed, then she would climb up to the top rope, and, as Army stumbled in a daze, leap off of it, spinning in midair to nail Army with a brutal drop kick! Assuming it all went to plan, of course, and she wasn't instead left sprawled and dazed further in the corner by Army's knee-strike...

Army knew this was a gamble, knew that there was a chance that Rainbow Mika wasn’t winded enough to be hit by a move like this. He felt the odds were on his side, though, with her getting fairly well worked over in the last minute or so. He could keep this going.

What was it Qui Gonn said about gambling? ‘Eventually, you lose’?

This was his time, it seemed, and he learned that when Rainbow Mika’s boot crashed against his jaw. It wouldn’e sucke dif he hadn’t been running at full speed, and he had been, no doubt. The blow was enough to leave him staggering back, dazed, and by the time he got things cleared up and found his opponent coming at him with that boot again - only this time, it had some company.

Rainbow Mika’s missile dropkick was more than enough to knock Army clean off his feet and drop him hard, kicking the wind clear out of him. Instead of just laying there, he went into a roll off to the side, exciting the ring and falling to a stand on the mat. It wouldn’t help him recover any faster, but at least could stumble about without having to worry too much about her coming after him.

Mika's missile drop kick connected beautifully, nailing Army in the chest and sending him sprawling onto the mat. Even as Mika dropped to her butt, though, she saw that Army wasn't staying sprawled for long-- as she watched, the man rolled out of the ring, and began standing outside the edge of the ring apron, trying to recuperate from having Mika's boots introduced to his pectorals like that. In all honesty, Mika would have loved some time to recuperate, especially after the way her back had collided with the turnbuckle earlier-- even now, it was still throbbing with pain.

She chuckled to herself. Yeah, staying put in the ring didn't sound like her either.

While Army was still recuperating, Mika would push herself back to to her feet, and break into a run. Quickly pulling herself up to the top rope, she would waste no time in leaping down at Army the moment he was standing.

"SELL--" she would cry, before trying to latch her legs around Army's head while aiborne.

"--DOWN!" she would finish, arching back in mid-fall, trying to use those powerful thighs of hers to fling Army head over heels and send him flying, to crash back-first into the ringside floor.

Army knew that his respite on the outside was going to be brief, and that Rainbow Mika would be coming after him, probably sooner rather than later. Even so, he was adamant about making this momentary retreat - he had to have some time to get it back together. He wasn’t doing too bad overall, but it felt like he was having some real trouble putting down Mika for any real length of time. No matter how hard he stomped her, the woman just kept getting back up. Reminded him of Imugi in some ways - which, given how their last official bout had gone, was a little worrying.

The first step to recovery would be getting his shit together and focusing on his opponent. He shook his head, finally getting his head on straight, and looked back to the ring to find - nothing. She wasn’t in the ring, and she wasn’t outside, so that left…

”Oh.”

He looked up in time to see Rainbow Mika flying towards him with those legs of hers spread wide, eclipsing the arena lights as she descended. They clasped around his head, snagged him tight and sent him flipping and flying through the air, coming down for a hard landing on his back. He rolled off her came down and stopped at the steel steps, leaning on them with his knees on the floor, his world spinning about him.

The crowd roared with applause as Mika used one of her trademark high-flying moves, launching herself from the top ropes and using her powerful thighs to send Army flying across the ringside, crumpling into a dazed heap near the ring steps. Rolling back up to her knees, Mika flashed another V-sign to her fans, who cheered her all the more. (She noticed one fan who was even proudly holding up a sign saying "THICC THIGHS END LIVES." Hmm, that was a new one)

Standing back up, Mika walked over to where Army was sprawled near the steps. "Come on, big guy," she said, "this is no time for lying around. Let's get back into the ring before the nice referee gets mad at us." So saying, Mika would pull Army up by the arm and deftly roll him back into the ring, before starting to climb the ropes herself, aiming to get to the top rope before Army got back up to his feet.

Whether army was standing or still struggling to rise, Mika would launch herself off the top rope, aiming to come down at Army with a sunset flip!

Army wouldn’t have a problem with a little ringside brawling, figuring that would favor him more than Rainbow Mika in the long run, and it seemed like she was working on a similar thought process. The referee had only begun her count before she had him up and moving, throwing him back into the ring. Keeping him moving, keeping him mobile. Smart strat.

He rose to his feet near the ropes, coming up near the ropes, and looked up to see her soaring towards him - over him, in fact, coming down behind his back, grabbing his legs and…

Stop.

Army snatched the ropes and gripped tight, saving himself from toppling over, leaving Rainbow Mika to lay on the floor between his legs while he stood over her. It was an awkward, wild position, and there was only one thing he could really do like this: He sat down.

So that was what he did - he kicked his legs and dropped down for a hard sit on her chest, slamming her into the canvas with his full weight. He kept his hands on the ropes, so there wouldn’t be a pin, but he was okay with that for the moment.

Mika's original plan had been to come down Army while he was still rising, to nail him with a powerful body-to-body impact that, in an ideal world, would floor him, and leave him easy meat to be wrapped up for a pinfall. This was not an ideal world, however, and Army was not only standing by the time she launched herself, but had moved a little forward out of her zone of attack. Not a problem: it was a simple matter for her to angle her body and grab for his legs, tripping him over and rolling him up into a pin.

Except that never happened: though Mika grabbed for his legs as she dropped down onto her back, Army grabbed the ropes in time, leaving Mika staring up awkwardly at his impressive body as she held onto his ankles.

"Um--"

And then Army simply sat down. Given their relative positions, Mika's ample chest made an excellent cushion for Army to bring all of his weight crashing down on. She gagged, her entire body jolting as the air was knocked out of her lungs, and the next thing she knew, her face was left uncomfortably close to Army's crotch as she lay underneath him, gasping for air...
