Qin Liangyu vs. Theodore 'Theo' Logan - Taking Flight

”She’s right, hands off the hair, Theo!”

The referee chided him, and he complied with her demand after a long groan, moving to hold her by the side of her head, instead. It was all too easy to get caught up in the heat of the moment, but he needed to focus and be better than that - BlazeWave’s image had already been tarnished enough after the Mariko Ishii fiasco, and the last thing either of them needed was to draw more heat than they had to.

Knowing his time was short, he tried to keep his momentum moving by going into action as soon as she was up and standing. He spun Qin around to face him, then moved in and threw a hard straight, drilling her in the chest to knock her into the nearest corner.

Qin was a bit surprised the referee forced Theo to release her hair buns. From what she saw of AFW matches hairpulling wasn't too frowned upon, especially on the women's side where it was a fairly common occurrence. Perhaps it was because she was fighting a male that the referee was a bit more stringent, or perhaps they were a bit biased towards women in these mixed matches? It wasn't as if she could grab Theo by his hair anyways.

She didn't have much time to recover though. The second Theo had her standing, he spun her around and walloped her with a powerful punch right in her chest! "OOF!" Qin gasped, her eyes going wide as Theo's fist smashed into her sternum right at the top of her breasts, knocking the wind out of her and making her see stars. She was nearly knocked off her feet, only remaining standing when her back hit the turnbuckle in the corner of the ring and her arms hooked onto the top ropes to hold herself up.

Qin's head hung as she panted for breath, feeling a nasty pain in her chest. She wasn't going to just take that hit lying down though. The acrobat was winded and hurting, but she was planning her counterattack, waiting for Theo to come in close before springing her trap!

”Come on, come on…”

Theo was starting to feel his groove in this match, which wasn’t necessarily a good thing. He’d been in this zone before, had that feeling that he was making all the right moves and things were going solidly in his favor, and every time - every time - so far, that feeling had betrayed him in the most spectacular fashion. He was really, truly hoping that wasn’t the case today, but…

Well, it wouldn’t surprise him.

But he had to keep rolling with it, couldn’t hesitate at this juncture. As soon as he let Qin go, he took off in the opposite direction, dashing into the corner opposite the one he’d sent her. He turned to hit it with his back at about the same time as she did across from him, then took off with a full head of steam, making use of the maximum distance to build momentum.

He leaped at the halfway point, dove into a somersault, then popped up with a leap to fly at the cornered Qin. He cocked his arm back in midair, attempting to descend on her and drive his elbow deep into her chest.

Qin knew she only had an instant to make her move. Theo dashed off in the opposite direction, bouncing off the ropes to build up momentum before coming back at her in the corner. Had he chased after her Qin would have no chance to counter, no openings at all to exploit. But Theo's decision left her with the slimmest of chances to land a big hit.

She had to time this perfectly, her arms gripping the top ropes so tightly in anticipation that her knuckles turned white. Theo certainly had a flair for showmanship, ducking into a somersault before springing at Qin in the corner. The acrobat knew that if his strike hit, there was a pretty good chance it would knock out any remaining fight left in her.

So, at the last moment, Qin leapt upwards, using her grip on the top ropes and her acrobatic climbing skills to rocket herself up and out of the way so Theo hit nothing but the corner turnbuckle. But that wasn't all, as Qin came down she was prepared for an immediate follow-up, aiming to land on Theo's back so she could lock her legs around his body and throw herself forwards, trying to flip Theo over in a subset flip and take him down to lock in a quick pin!

Wily had to admit, he was kind of liking Qin. Liking her a lot.

It helped that she was in a tight bodysuit, always a plus in his eyes, and it made all her juicer features easy to see, but it wasn’t just that. The woman could move. Crazy flexible, always like those acrobatic girls. Just watching her was starting to inspire certain physical reactions below the belt, and that feeling wasn’t going away anytime soon.

Theo, on the other hand, was having a completely different reaction at the moment. More of a ‘holy shit’ thing.

He’d thought that, maybe, she would move out of the way of his move. He was prepared for her to move to the side or something like that, had a backup plan. What he didn’t anticipate, however, was her pulling up and flipping over his head, showing off her crazy agility. Before he could even think about adjusting, she was moving down his back, flipping over, and dropping him flat on his back, bringing him in for the pin.

”1…!”

He didn’t move at first, his brain still trying to catch up and process all of this, deal with the rapidly changing situation.

”2…!”

Instinct kicked in after the second slap, bringing him screeching back to reality. Theo threw up his leg and flopped out of the pin, but he was still disoriented, needed a few seconds to get his head on right. Desperate, his back to Qin, he rose up in a sloppy stupor, struggling to stand on wobbling legs.

Qin didn't know if her move was going to work. She made a gamble, putting it all on the line as she rocketed upwards, hoping to land upon Theo's back and execute her sunset flip. Luckily, things went exactly as she had planned. She came down upon his back, locked in her legs, threw herself forward using the rest of her falling momentum, and flipped the bigger and stronger man head over heels, slamming him onto his back and holding him in a pin! Judging by the look of surprise on Theo's face, he hadn't expected something like this!

"Woo!" Qin said, "Bet you didn't expect that!" She gave Theo a wink and stuck out her tongue, confident she would get the three count.

"Thre-" the referee was about to say, before Theo kicked out hard! Qin was far too light to hold the rocker down, letting out a gasp as she got thrown back against the turnbuckle, releasing her hold and allowing Theo to break free. She looked at the referee, hoping that she had managed to get the pin, but the referee shook his head, raising his hand to indicate only a two count!

"Aiya! You're kidding!" Qin said, visibly deflating in disappointment. Still, Theo wasn't looking too hot. Qin was on her feet far quicker than the rocker, who even after standing up looked to be quite stunned and wobbly. The acrobat decided to quickly take advantage of this.

"Take this!" she cried, leaning back against the ropes to rocket herself forward at her opponent. She would use her momentum to throw a stomping kick right into Theo's tight abs as payback for the kick she took in the gut moments before!

Much as he hated to admit it, no, Theo had not, in fact, expected that. Then again, he hadn’t expected that this day would have him getting hurled around the ring by a Chinese acrobat nearly half his size. So there were plenty of surprises to go around.

But, nonetheless, they were, and he was definitely not in the best of shape. It was hard to believe that Qin had rocked him so well in just shy of ten minutes, but the proof was clear. Sweating, aching, dizzy, having trouble standing on two feet, let alone making a real offensive move. She saw his vulnerability, too, and moved in to take advantage of it, striking him fast with a kick in the stomach.

It did its job well, more than well, knocking the wind clean out of him and leaving him to stagger back, gasping. Theo wanted to get back, wanted to straighten, wanted to mount some offense, but the truth was that he didn’t have it in the tank at the moment. Just keeping up with Qin had left him spent, and he was reaching the end of that rope.

The crowd could see it, and so could Wily. Much as he wanted to have his bro’s back, there was no ignoring the writing on the wall. She had him. She had him good.

Qin could see Theo was at his limit. He barely even put up any defense against her kick, taking it hard in his stomach and getting all the wind knocked out of him in a single blow. As Theo staggered backwards, Qin immediately moved in to take advantage of his weakness, pressuring him and getting ready to finish him off.

As Theo remained doubled over from the kick, he was at the perfect height for Qin to execute a finisher. She ran in and jumped up, planting her hands on Theo's back to vault upwards and snap her luscious thighs around his head in a tight and painful headscissor. But this was just the beginning, as she threw herself forwards, trying to use her weight and her grip around Theo's neck to force the rocker to straighten back up. Her headscissor would then transition into a figure four headlock, squeezing Theo's neck tight as she attempted to choke what fight remained out of the rocker while she hung from his back!

"Tap out or pass out Theo!" Qin declared as she made her move, confident that Theo was too winded to be able to interrupt her from locking in her hold!

A bad situation can always get worse, and this was a lesson that Theo was about to have amply demonstrated to him. He hadn’t been in a good state to start with, the toll of taking on Qin wearing on him. He was on the defense, worn down, and not in a good spot to take any more abuse - a shame, because that was exactly what was coming his way.

Qin came in as he reeled, and once again, he felt those thighs of hers around his neck. A bad position on its lonesome, but it only became worse, exponentially, when she turned it into a figure-four headlock.

Tap or pass out. Hell of a choice, there.

”Tap! Tap! Tap!”

And the crowd seemed to be fairly unanimous on their opinion of which one he should choose, too, and it was hard to ignore the sense in it. The pressure was extreme. Incredible. He could already see the stars forming in his eyes, knew that, in a moment, he wouldn’t have any choice in the matter. He brought his hands up, readied to submit…

...and collapsed before he even had the chance. Knocked clean out.

The referee dropped to a knee at Theo’s side to give him the check, raised his arm to be sure, then made the signal when she received no response, calling for the bell as Wily slid into the ring, eager to make sure his partner was okay. ”He’s out!”

Qin looked over her shoulder up at Theo, wondering when she would feel him tapping out against her leg. It never came, as she watched the rocker's eyes roll back into his head, his body going limp in an instant as he passed out. Qin had to react quickly, planting her hands against the mat to break her fall, releasing Theo's neck and doing a front flip to land cleanly on her feet. She looked back at the rocker, wondering if he was really out or if he was pretending.

The referee gave her confirmation. The second Qin heard those two words, she raised her hands and jumped up in joy. Her first match in the Tension League was a clean victory! She didn't celebrate for long though, as very quickly she realized that Theo was still unconscious, and that it was a bad look to be too happy when her opponent might be seriously hurt.

So she came by Theo's side, kneeling down opposite Wily as she looked at her opponent with concern. "Is he alright?" she asked, hoping that Theo would wake up soon.
