Qin Liangyu vs. Theodore 'Theo' Logan - Taking Flight

It wasn’t going to help him out at the moment, but Theo couldn’t help but wonder what kind of training Qin went through to get legs like this. He was more than a little jealous - despite her being smaller than him, she was either stronger in her lower body or amazingly close to it. As he reached up in a vain, reflexive attempt to pry her thighs apart, he could feel them solidify, turning into twin pillars of steels to crush his head.

It would’ve been fascinating, if they weren’t so close to knocking him clean out. ”That’s me. Mr. Stubborn.”

As bad as it was, he did his best to bear the pain for a little while, trying to hold on just long enough to reach the ropes. Close, so close, almost there, and-

And she flipped him over and erased a good deal of his progress. Crap.

But he was on his front now, which...well, it wasn’t good, her thighs were still crushing his skull like a watermelon, but he had other options. Theo planted his palms and feet on the floor and pushed up all at once, trying to get his head free in one powerful push. If that worked, he’d just jump forward and belly flop on her back to smash her into the mat - not the most elegant move, but it was all he had the energy for at the moment.

Qin knew she only had limited time to strangle Theo out after flipping them over. She just hoped that he was running out of air so he didn't have the strength of push out. That hope was dashed quickly, Theo bucked upwards, planting both his hands and feet and pushed up with all his might! Qin felt her hips lifted up, her knees leaving the mat as she tried to maintain the hold despite the awkward angle. But it was too much for the acrobat, who finally had to let go.

Qin untangled her legs, using the extra height Theo gave her to roll forwards and onto her feet in one smooth motion. "You're quite a fighter!" Qin said, complimenting her opponent, "Pushing out of that isn't easy." Theo had impressed her with his tenacity, but that didn't mean she was going to let him go.

The Chinese acrobat immediately went for Theo, trying to take advantage of him before he could fully recover. She grabbed his head, pulling him up to his feet before he was really ready, hoping that would leave him open to attack. The acrobat would then spin around and try to throw a high kick right into his muscled chest, hoping that would knock him off balance and tangle him in the ropes, leaving him wide open for further attacks.

It was an impressive display, Theo had to admit. He’d been hoping to pounce on the woman after her got free of those mantraps she called legs, thinking he would have a golden opportunity to plaster her on the canvas, counting on a crucial moment to catch her off guard. It wouldn’t on 99% of the wrestlers in Tension, he was sure, but as it turned out, Qin was in that coveted 1%. She was not only able to move out of the way and avoid his attack, leaving him to belly flop on the canvas, but she did so in grand fashion. Could he even pull off a flip like that without busting his head? He doubted it.

He had little time to be impressed, though, as she moved to lift him up before he could full recover, getting him up to his feet. He managed to cross his arms over his chest to block her kick, saving himself from some of the pain, but it still had enough force to send him reeling against the ropes and leave him slumped there, hurting for a moment.

”Man, she’s really working you over in there, dude.” Willy whistled from below. ”Need a time out? You okay?”

Theo groaned and huffed, as he tried to shake off Qin’s kick and his friend’s chiding at the same time. ”Not helping, dude.”

Qin didn't realize how close she had been to being crushed underneath Theo, the somersault escape was an instinctive move ingrained into her through years of acrobatics training. It helped her out though by leaving Theo winded after taking a nasty fall onto the mats, giving her the opening she needed to drag him back up. And though Theo blocked the worse of her kick, it still Sent him reeling into the ropes, though not quite as stunned as Qin would like. The fact that he could still banter with his buddy showed her that much. Qin wasn't going to go for her high-risk move now, not when Theo was clearly still lucid.

But she was going to take advantage of Theo while he was wide open though. She took off at a run, closing the short distance between them, at the very last moment jumping and throwing up her knee. "Hah!" Qin yelled, aiming the bony point right at Theo's muscled belly! Surely after taking a body splash those hard abs must have softened, Qin thought, thinking that with this knee strike she might just knock all the fight out of the rocker and leave him tame enough for her to finish with a spectacular attack!

It was amazing how south this was going and how fast it had gotten that way. Theo expected that Qin would be getting a few hits in, sure, but didn’t expect her to work him over like this. Those legs of hers were dynamite, and it was clear that, if he wanted to win this match, he’d have to do something about them. If he could just get her into a good leg hold and crank them long enough, even something as simple as a figure-four…

A good idea, but it wouldn’t mean a whole lot if he didn’t have the time to implement it, and time was running scarce. Qin was moving in fast, closing the distance, leaping his way, and he only had a scant second to react. On pure reflex, he dropped down and grabbed the top rope as he fell, pulling it down to remove any barrier so his foe would go flying out of the ring…

...and into Willy’s open arms, ready to catch her.

Wait, what?

Qin felt confident that her knee strike would land, so she threw everything into it, jumping into the air and flying at Theo without any guard at all. She didn't expect the rocker to recover so quickly, ducking and grabbing the ropes so she had nothing to hit! Qin's eyes widened as she flew out of the ring, quickly lowering her leg and preparing to roll to reduce the impact of her fall.

But luckily for her, she didn't slam into the concrete floor. "Oof!" she gasped when she fell right into the arms of Theo's tag partner Willy! Qin was a little confused and disoriented at first, as she expected a much longer fall and harder landing, so when she looked up to find herself in the arms of a rather handsome man, she couldn't help but blush.

"Umm... Hi?" Qin said, unsure of how to react in this situation. What could Willy possibly be up to, doing something like this?

For a strange, awkward moment, time seemed to freeze, as all three of them - Qin, Theo, Willy, and four if you counted the referee - all looked between each other. Willy hadn’t mean to catch her, exactly, he’d just seen her tumbling out of the ring and shot his hands out on pure reflex, didn’t even give it a thought. But this was where they were, now, so…

”Hey, sexy.” Willy winked, looked left, right, up, and down, before stepped forward and gently placed her back on the apron. ”Sooooooooooo I’ll just place you here, I guess, and...yeah, get back to it.”

Theo, for his part, had little to say as he watched, letting loose a deep sigh as she came back inside. Weird as it was, there wasn’t much to be done but reset.

”Okay, got me off guard that time.” He backed off and started to circle around her as she came back in, waiting to dive back in. ”Won’t happen again…”

Willy was obviously a womanizer, with the teasing wink he gave to Qin making her heart flutter. The way he carried her in his arms felt surprisingly genuine, almost amorous. It made Qin blush even more thinking that this guy probably liked her in that way. He didn't take advantage though, being a proper gentleman and setting her down upon the ring apron.

"Umm... Thanks!" Qin said, giving Willy a quick bow of her head before climbing back into the ring. She felt a little distracted by Willy, who surprised her with his tenderness. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, she gathered her wits and focused back on Theo and the match.

"Sorry for that little intermission,, Qin said, "Let's continue!" She felt confident she could take Theo down, after all their initial rounds showed she had the advantage. Hopefully she could continue that performance.

Qin bounced on her feet à few times, then took off at Theo at a run. She couldn't match Theo in strength, but she knew she was faster. "Hyah!" Qin yelled as she got close, planting one foot as she used the momentum of her body to twist and throw a high kick up at Theo's chest!

Willy was a gentleman, or liked to think he was, anyway. Wouldn’t want to hurt some pretty girl for no reason, especially when doing so would’ve cost his buddy the match. So no harm, no foul. He was a good boy.

But he got a great feel for Qin’s body while he held her, too. Nice bonus, wasn’t going to lie. A strong part of him was wishing they’d made this another handicap match, because he wouldn’t have had a problem tagging in and getting even more opportunities feel it.

Theo looked towards his friend as Qin moved to reset their match, knowing full well what was on his friend’s mind. He shook it off and focused back on his opponent, rubbing his throat and coughing as she approached. Those legs had brought him close, too close, to the edge, an obvious threat that he’d have to neutralize. Just needed to figure out how to make that happen.

He’d have little time for it, too, as she seemed intent on bringing the fight to him, closing the gap at a rapid pace. He knew he couldn’t match her in terms of speed, but there were other areas where he held a firm advantage - height, reach, strength. As she came towards him, he moved towards her at the same time and leaped, shooting his legs out as she came at him with a kick, hoping to hit her with a strong dropkick and send her flying back.

Qin thought her speed would be enough to catch Theo off guard, but the rocker was ready for her. Perhaps it was because he had plenty of time to recover as Qin fell outside the ring into the arms of his tag partner. Theo chargef forward as Qin did, throwing out his kick before she got into range. The acrobat had to react quickly to not get booted in the face. Qin abandoned her plan of kicking Theo before she even got her leg off the ground. She leaned back, feeling Theo's boot just barely miss, dropping to the mat while her momentum carried her forward into a slide underneath Theo's legs.

Qin slid behind Theo, holding her breath the whole time as she felt the nerves from nearly getting kicked. Once she was past him though, she let out a quick sigh. The acrobat flipped over onto her front, getting into a crouching position behind Theo, before springing up with all the force she could muster in her curled legs.

"Almost got me!" Qin said as she jumped up. Her goal was to get onto Theo's back and wrap her arms around his neck, putting him in a tight headlock! If she was successful, her legs would snap around Theo's waist, hugging her body close against him, forcing him to bear her entire weight!
