Sakura Hagiwara vs. Lauren Fredericks

"Yeah! There is some of that power!" Lauren said as she reached out to grab Sakura by the hair. Lauren was trying to keep up the old school offense and turned around snapmaring Sakura over her shoulder.... only to do it again and yet again a third time to disorient Sakura with a trio of snapmares! It wasn't the most sophisticated offense but Lauren was a classic old school wrestler because that is what she watched and knew.

She also didn't want to lose to a teenage singer in the ring either in her debut. "Sorry pretty little songbird but I won't lose!"

Sakura was grabbed by the hair, bringing a hand up over top of one of Lauren's, gripping her arm at the wrist. She flailed with her other arm, wincing as she was hefted roughly to her feet by her mane of silky black hair. Soft mumbles of "owowow" as he was forcefully positioned, primed and ready for what came next. Her body was flipped clean over Lauren's shoulder, coming down with a hard impact on the ring, grunting as she was laid out again. For a moment she though it was over, but the older blond seemed content to continue. The idol, for all her experience in the ring was lifted up by her opponent and slammed down into the mat leaving her groaning. By the time the third came around, Sakura couldn't even muster a resistance as she was once again thrown to the mat in rough fashion and made to be laid out on the canvas.

She had no retort to Lauren's claims for grasping victory and was certainly in no position to contest it. The vicious trio of snapmares had suitably put an abrupt halt to Sakura's early match momentum and ground the pace of the match to a crawl more suitable for the more traditional wrestler's style of dismantling her foes with hard hitting moves.

Lauren still had control of Sakura and she wedged her shin against Sakura's back as she knelt, moving her hands around Sakura's chin to clasp them together. Lauren screamed as she pulled back as hard as she could locking in a rear chin lock against the smaller wrestler! The crowd was cheering Sakura on, trying to urge their favorite in the ring to break free or escape although Lauren was applying all the pressure she could to inflict as much pain as possible. She had to wear Sakura down, and she herself was still hurting with a throbbing skull after Sakura's earlier cutter.

Sakura leaned forward, arms limp at her side, looking down between her thighs as her long black hair hung down around her face, breathing hard. She gave her head a small shake, trying to gather herself back up. This was just a small setback, as soon as she got back up she could turn this around. She started to sit herself up when Lauren's hands came under her chin, dragging her back down to the canvas, pulling her up against a waiting leg. Her back stretched out in a hard arch as her head was drawn back through a gasping cry of pain. She reached up weakly, grasping at the hands around her chin, trying to pry them loose or wiggle free but the blond was just so much stronger than her in this position.

"Ah-Aaaah!" The idol kicked her boots, slamming the heels into the mat as she struggled in the hold, each moment she was trapped giving Lauren slightly more bend in her body, wracking it with pain. She winced, finding it harder to find breath like this, which was especially bad given the fact she had been pretty winded by the series of snapmares just prior to this. She couldn't give up now though, especially not with so many in the audience shouting her name and cheering her on. She used all the strength she had to slightly turn her head, looking off to the side to see just how far she was from the ropes. It wasn't far, but she wasn't in an ideal position to try and drag both women to them. If she was going to escape, she had to think of something else.

Sakura pulled her legs in, bending at the knees as she planted the soles of her boots, pivoting at the ankle to brace herself slightly better. With all the power in her legs, she pushed off the canvas, rising up slightly, being pulled back even further into Lauren's hold as the other woman's knee dug into her lower back. It made the pain so much worse, but she had to do it this way... a little further and she extended her legs all the way out, forcing the blond to have to roll onto her back to maintain the hold... which would put older woman's shoulders down on the mat.

"One!"

Lauren struggled to keep Sakura where she was but doing so while applying pressure was not easy. As her shoulders hit the mat and the referee counted to one Lauren shoved Sakura to the side and got back up to her feet. "All right Sakura, you are a crafty one aren't ya? I think its high time I show ya what this older rookie can really do!" Lauren said as she reached out to grab hold of Sakura hooking both of Sakura's arms before lifting her up for a double underhook suplex!

Lauren was trying to hammer into Sakura with a bigger move now hoping that it would take a toll and leave Sakura laid out on her back afterward.

Sakura grit her teeth, giving her all in a desperate attempt to break free from this submission. Thankfully she had managed to do exactly what she had been trying to and the referee hit the mat. She pushed herself up onto her tiptoes, trying to lean as much of her weight down on top of Lauren, hoping that she might be able to actually pin the other woman. Not even close, being tossed to the side without issue with a flop to roll onto her stomach. She let out a long groan, reaching a hand back to massage her battered spine, kicking her feet lightly.

Before she could even have a moment to rest, Lauren was already on top of her, getting her back up to her feet. Sakura struggled, trying to battle back with a weak lunch of her own to the other woman's mid section but still found her head tucked under an arm and her arms yanked up behind her. "Egh.. n-no…" She whined, struggling against the stronger woman's grasp. The idol was whipped up in the air, crashing cleanly down onto the mat with a ring shaking thud. "Urgh!"

Sakura lay sprawled out on the canvas, chest rising and falling with her heavy breathing. Things had starting out so strong, now Lauren was just demolishing her. She was just too strong to fight directly and so quick to push the offensive. The idol was in a dire situation. If she kept getting thrown around like this, she wouldn't last much longer.

Lauren sent Sakura crashing to the mat and she followed up by landing on Sakura with an elbow drop before moving to lay across her chest to go for the pin! Lauren reached down to hook a leg as she nodded to the referee who was sliding into position. "Count it ref, this little lady just ran into a real big woman and her power!" Lauren said as the crowd was booing her and cheering on Sakura as the pin count was about to begin!

Lauren liked Sakura, but she couldn't allow herself to lose to her. Lauren knew she didn't have the marketability of a lot of young wrestlers so to keep her job she had to deliver in the ring with results!

"Kuh!" The idol lay wide eyed, mouth hung open croaking out a long wheeze as air was forcefully ejected from her body. She had taken all 189lbs of woman coming spearing down into her lithe form with an elbow. Her arms and legs flopped up into the air, as it sent her limbs flapping like some strange blood puppet before they dropped back to the mat. She lay wounded and wincing as the blond slipped over top of her, a leg coming up to dangle lifelessly in the blond's grasp.

"One!"

"Two!"

Just after the second count, the battered idol gave a violent twist of her body, wordlessly throwing up an arm just past Lauren's face as she lifted a shoulder. Her head bobbed as she struggled to take in air, but even in her pained squint there was a fierce determination burning. Lauren had almost managed to run away with this match but there was no was Sakura would let her win without a fight. The referee got to one knee, throwing up two fingers signalling the count before letting things resume.

Lauren shook her head as Sakura kicked out, getting up to her feet and gasping for breath as she was wearing out from constantly keeping up on the offense. She pulled Sakura up by the arm, twisting her body to send Sakura running to the ropes. Lauren would crouch and be ready, lunging at Sakura to deliver a big clothesline as she ran back at Lauren! Lauren was trying to lay in to Sakura as quickly as she could but the grit Sakura was showing worried Lauren. Would Lauren wear down before she could put Sakura away?

Pulled upright to a sitting position, Sakura's head lulled back, letting her hair billowing around her shoulders. Lauren had no real issue grabbing hold of her arm, hauling the dazed idol up to her feel again, she was mostly dead weight at this point. She barely registered the fact she was spun about and sent flying to the ropes. Her legs doing the world based on muscle memory to keep her from straight up face planting as soon as she had been Irish whipped. The breeze hitting her in the face and the blood pumping in her body though breathed some renewed vigor into her by the time she turned herself to go into the ropes with her back.

On her return trip she found her stride, still having trouble warding off her fatigue just due to her lack of breath and overexertion from being thrown around by the blond. She was pretty sure she saw what was coming next, the traditionalist blond was practically telegraphing her next big strike. The question was, did Sakura have the energy to act on what she scouted? The idol picked up her stride, trying to mess with the other woman's timing to close in faster than intended. Just as she was in ranged, she dipped down, leaving Lauren's arm to swing wide at nothing but her fluttering black hair. She took a few shot steps, digging in her heels to com to an abrupt stop, just behind the other woman, leaning forward and holding her arms out to keep her balance to stop herself from falling. Once she found her footing, Sakura tucked her knees and sprang up, flipping herself backwards to send one of her long legs out in a heavy arc, bringing it down at the back of Lauren's head with a pele kick.
