Strategy/Style: Many would count her out due to her smaller stature from the offset. A throw from bubbly cutie will change that though quickly, but not quick enough to avoid getting winded.

Sophie likes to be aggressive, making use of her size to avoid and counter grapple her opponents. Although she is stronger and faster than most would expect, it’s common for Sophie to use her skills in Judo to use their momentum against much heftier opponents. While she is usually cute and bubbly, she has a mean streak against people she hates and relishes having superiority over her foes. Opponents should expect Sophie to use her feet to rub the humiliation in more, actively seeking to dominate her foes both mentally and physically.

Personality: Sophie likes to believe that she’s about as average as your typical twenty-year-old girl. Well…kind of. Not many girls like her can put a grown man in hospital…or colour her hair like that.

Regardless, Sophie is a cheery, bubbly girl with an optimistic outlook, which belies how she gets when she ends up in fights. In the ring, she is quite dominant, bordering on sadistic, but it is usually done in a teasing, almost playful way. Being an expert in judo has made her less sensitive when it comes to her size, seeing that she can still bully bigger, stronger people and shock them. To her, it does not matter how big her opponents are, she’d still bring them down to their knees. One way or the other.

Outside of the ring, she’s still a young woman that likes to shop. Clothes, makeup, pedicures, she’s someone that takes care of her appearance and has money to spend on it. While most would describe it as vainness, she flaunts it only when she feels comfortable doing so. Though she can get a bit self-centred, believing that she’s at the heart of her own world and she wants to do the things she wants.

Coming from a fairly well-off, privileged upbringing in Edinburgh, Sophie was born with enough family money that she never had to worry about anything basic, doing whatever she pleased and be carefree. She performed average at school, never the best student but far from the worst. It’s not because she wasn’t smart, she didn’t think school was as important as most people think and preferred to fill her time going shopping and something that surprised most that know her.

Martial Arts. Or to be more specific Judo. Being bullied because of her smaller stature was the catalyst that brought her to the gentle art. But in fairness, nobody had any reason to suspect that she’d be any good at Judo. However, she proved to be something of a prodigy. Certainly, she wasn’t winning tournaments at 8. But she was top of her class and started competing on the local youth scene when she reached ten. It was a weird pairing. One side shows that she goes out, has friends, she drinks and has fun. While the other showed a dominant force that despite her size, left her opponents slumbering more often than not. It was that blend that made Sophie who she is today.

Sophie enjoys what she does and after she’d graduated, she’d put her focus more onto her Judo, competing on a national level and then an international level. As her skills grew, she could have pursued the Olympics, if she cared enough for that. At the end of the day, it was all done because she had fun. But one match suddenly took her to an unexpected path.

An exhibition match pitted her against a relative newbie to the scene. While she was told to take it light on the lad, his teasing about her size and him going all out on power brought Sophie’s dominant side out. She ended up choking out the 6’2” male with a foot choke, something that was a secret speciality after experimenting it in a spar. Sophie figured that would be the end of that and she’d move on. Or so she thought. The same guy jumped her at the car park and knocking her out with a punch. Turned out the guy was a boxer before he’d made the jump. Who knew?

Understandably, Sophie didn’t let that one drop and she sought revenge on the guy that attacked her. Determined that she could beat him fair and square, she’d follow him to a growing federation in the United States.

While she did primarily join the league for revenge, she’d quickly realized that there was much more than that to be had here. The glory of victory, the challenge of a tough opponent, and also the chance for the young woman to meet new people. The Commissioner at the time saw that there were some unique selling points, even among the talented roster of the federation. Having only experienced Judo, Sophie was new to the rigours of wrestling. And while she was one of the more popular talents, she was kept along the mid-card as more skilled wrestlers joined in. As time went on, Sophie found better ways to blend Judo and wrestling, as well as experimenting with some saucy and risqué variants to her moves. She wasn’t very new to the fetish side of fighting, but at that point, it was just fun for her. Eventually, the Scot would integrate it into her grappling style, making her a mainstay in the American league. A chance for the main championship eventually brought Sophie to the target for her revenge. After the belt was made vacant, due to issues with the commissioner, the two battled for the belt. Although the man developed as well, it wouldn’t stop Sophie thoroughly humiliating him before settling the debt with her patented armbar. With the championship adorned around her waist, the debt was paid.

After that night, Sophie began to ponder on a certain question: “what now”? She had been single-minded in her pursuit for revenge that she wasn’t sure what else to do after it. Eventually, Sophie would begin craving for the larger world. There is more to the world than just the United States and her home in Scotland. Still, pretty young, Sophie would leave the federation and expanded her horizons to other venues before an AFW scout came to her with an offer. Having seen ‘that match’, the scout was impressed and gave her a chance to go professional. The offer initially had her going to the Kawaii faction, mostly due to her size, but Sophie negotiated to join the main roster instead.

Eventually, a deal is made and Sophie makes her way to the Far East. The downside is that she’s coming under a rookie’s pay, but Sophie has no doubt that her experience abroad is sure to turn heads once she starts dropping AFW’s precious veterans in the ring.

-Sophie is pansexual

-Has a deeply hidden sub streak that can be brought out when she’s getting thoroughly dominated by other women

-A massive shopaholic, she loves roaming around the streets and malls to find new clothing styles.

-Her apartment is an odd sight, swapping the carpet floor for tatami mats. Her bedroom has a shelf of all the awards, belts and trophies she’d picked up in competition but she also has little knick-knacks and trinkets from other countries.
