Saif wasn’t asking her question to tease Zulime - well, not only to tease her. The ostentatious aspects of it were hard to miss, and it was easy to see how one could have a good time there. But to the queen of just such a place ought to know how to keep her cool under pressure under the limelight and know how to shake off anything that came their way. As Zulime was rising from the ground, she didn't very much feel like a Riverboat Queen, and that made her livid. Getting her crown back was the only thing that she was focusing on as she turned her attention to her opponent who was now flying at her.

Zulime liked to think that she floated above trivial things like victories and defeats, but the least that she could do was put on a good show.

So she charged forward while Saif was still clambering up. She tried to latch onto Saif's back and bowl her over, rolling as she did so. If she were lucky, she would be able to roll a few times until she was on her back with Saif on top of her, facing upwards and away from her.
