Lock was already picking up on a few things with Blaze, trying to figure out the best way to approach her. While the picture wasn’t complete yet, she was getting closer to it with every passing second. First and foremost, she was a woman who fought with her heart over head - as if that wasn’t obvious enough from her agreeing to take on three people at the same time. Even with all her skill, she could be held back by a headstrong nature, and it was that nature that made her an easy mark for Lock’s opening - as long as Jack was her main target, her focus would never be in the proper place

So down she went, and Lock rose immediately, taking a step forward to capitalize. She had to slam the breaks down when her opponent curled up into a defensive position, however, staying just out of her most effective range. Smart. Headstrong, but not foolish, sage enough to know the position she was in and take steps to correct. It was tempting to try her luck, but after seeing the way she and Key went at it, she figured it was best to hold back for now. The advantage was theirs, there was no need to take risks.

Patient, observant. She slipped back into her fighting stance and moved forward, waiting for Blaze to rise up. She wasn’t going to move in just yet, but she stayed at the ready, waiting to see what she did.
