Hitomi's life growing up was relatively peaceful. Born from a pair of loving and kind parents who always strived to do the best for one another and their daughter, she quickly took after their tendencies to go above and beyond for their family and friends. This desire to always do her best not only for herself but those around her quickly lead her to a great deal of success at an early age both academically and physically. She loved sports, enjoyed swiming, and even took a little bit after her father and took up learning martial arts. This blossomed into a desire to always be a part of something, and to always be striving to better herself in one way or another. She had a large circle of friends and nothing could really go wrong for her. That was until at the age of 10 she got sick.

She had always looked like a normal girl, if a bit tall. Despite how much she pushed herself to always be the absolute best she could be, other children of all shapes sizes fitness and intelligence would talk and play with her. After managing to endure treatment for an autoimmune disease she found that several things about her had changed, her hair was now pure white, and her eyes were now different colors. While it was a startling change for a lot of those she was close to, it didn't change much of what she had. Her friends were still close to her. And her parents still loved her dearly. What it did change was her relationships with new people.

Into her teenage years she found herself constantly being placed on pedastals and alienated by others. To most they felt beneathe her, that she was a different breed of person. That it wasn't proper to mingle with somebody who was so motivated and successful. Some of the friends she had started to grow distant. Despite her parents best efforts to help her accept her new appearance and move past all the insecurities it was now bringing her, it was too much. The once social girl began to retreat into her studies, focus much more on the sports she loved. The satisfaction of testing and strengthening her body with martial arts. The girl who could have been a perfectly normal teenager started to shape and tone her body in a way beyond a simple interest in sports and self care. Muscles started to form. Her belly now bore a clear set of abdominal muscles.

One lazy day, as ordinary as the last the girl was resting alone in her room...and got her first taste of what she really wanted. On a station she never watched, at a time where she was usually never watching TV she saw her first Wrestling program. How strange the men looked, how unique all these women looked. How strong all of them seemed, and the feats of athleticism they performed . The cheers that they would get from the crowds. Even those who recieved the crowd's distain relished in the 'boos!' that came at them. It was like a whole nother world. This interest grew into an obsession more quickly than she could have imagined.

Pay from her summer jobs would allow her to attend the events live instead of watching them on TV. And sure enough the boys at her school eventually spotted the impossible to miss tall white haired girl with heterochromia. When she was first approached by her peers curious to confirm if it actually was her it scared her. She thought she would have another thing that alienated her from her peers...but instead this strange interest seemed to greatly humanize her in the eyes of those who avoided her before. Connecting with both the boys who shared her interest. And other girls who also had strange hobbies and interests. While she no longer was a 'normal girl' she felt happy to meet these other new an interesting people. All thanks to Wrestling.

Her parents were initially worried when it seemed like that was the direction in life she wanted to go in. And while they had their protests, they also couldn't bring themselves to strike down her dreams. Under the condition that her studies were kept up, and that the money for college that they had been saving up still went to good use they put themselves entirely behind their daughter. While it was unorthodox, she now had a goal and desire in life. One that she now strove for both in her physical training and academically.

This dream would find itself being tested as she grew into an adult, the bright lights and theatrics in front of the cameras and fans seemed perfect. Learning about the locker room politics and how inflated some superstars egos became? How even those who looked like heroes wound up being villains in their line of work who constantly put down the dreams of others? It called into question everything she wanted. However she was never one to shy away from a challenge. Even if she couldn't changed how the industry worked at its core, she would elevate herself to the top. Unlike those who would use that status to push others down, she would reach back and offer her hand to other who sought to climb that same mountain as her.



Having a body that has been quite thoroughly trained from youth both in physical conditioning and extensively tested at several martial arts competitions Hitomi is as tough as they come. She studied up on many different forms of wrestling both domestic and foreign. She took a strong liking to the incredible feats of acrobatics as well as the themes of honor, family, and tradition that came with Lucha-Libre and practiced extensively on the ropes and atop turnbuckles honing her balance and skill. With her high levels of endurance as well as taking some inspiration from some American wrestlers she opted to sell herself as one who could take extensive beatings while also dishing them back. Fighting in the ring, outside the ring and even backstage on the concrete if needed. She has the ability to keep her game face no matter what, and can remain unflinching even when taking quite powerful and convincing blows. She prefers for her partners to really go into her as she's confident she can take it.

She prefers to not use weapons, not because she isn't strong enough. But because she has done such little training with them. While she is perfectly capable of enduring genuine grueling encounters closer to what some people would call Mixed Martial Arts she usually doesn't actually want to hurt any of the people she's fighting more than she has to. This can lead to some very long matches with other motivated wrestlers. Its not uncommon for her fights to go beyond their expected duration because of this.

She has a strong preference for using holds and grapples that require a lot of strength to perform, While using very technical and well placed strikes that are not there to just weaken but also even defeat more agility focused opponents who she can't quite get a grip on. She is quite fast naturally, but purposefully moves a bit slower in the ring to seem like more of an 'unmovable obstacle' that refuses to budge. In the rare circumstances she's fighting a much bigger and stronger opponent she will use her technical skill and know how to try to use her opponent's strength against them.



Keeping in line with her very solid and pure appearance she has chosen to be Hitomi 'The Gatekeeper' Yamaguchi. A young woman whom has focused herself fully on the aspects of honor, fighting fairly, fighting openly, and with everything she has for herself. While she also pursues the highest accolades she can she also intends to keep those who are 'not worthy' away from stardom while only allowing the greatest warriors to 'become legends'.  She will typically not find herself often aligning with anyone in particular in the ring, and has no problem accepting matches that are heavily one-sided. Such as handicap matches and others. She presents herself as level headed and honorable Face, but would not be against exploring the idea of a Heel variant of this persona who becomes too self absorbed in 'their technique' and loses sight of their honor to further their technique no matter the cost.
