Lorelei vs Hitomi

Lorelei had been watching Hitomi's last match. Knowing your enemy was something pretty important if you want to win. And after years of working for a secret organization, she knew this pretty good. Preparing herself for her match in the backstage, Lorelei looked at herself in a mirror, her black eyes as inexpressive as always. That light that shone in her pupils when she was a child had completely faded. Feeling a little awkward about remembering her childhood, Lorelei shook her head from side to side and then turned her back to the mirror, noticing the match was just about to begin. She walked towards the exit of the backstage and waited for her music to start.

"Haunted" by Evanescense started playing on the loudspeakers. Lorelei closed her eyes and came out from the backstage. A lot of people was waiting to see her in action again. After her match with Cardia, they wanted to see her beat someone a little tougher. The girl danced her way down the ramp, her eyes always closed. As soon as she reached the ring, she suddenly opened her eyes and leapt off the ground, flipping into the air and landing perfectly on top of the turnbuckle onto her feet. Lorelei folded her arms against her bust and let out a sigh.

She wasnt scared. Not at all. Fear was something her organization didnt allow her to feel. Even in a situation of life or death, it was something that her mind simply blocked.

Hitomi watched Lorelei's entrance with a bit of annoyance. She had heard that Lorelei was a big shot heel at AFW, and so was probably a strong and worthy opponent, but seeing the girl literally dance her way down the ramp seemed to shatter that image. Lorelei didn't seem to be strong at all, nor was she scary in any way. Hitomi had seen many fighters far more terrifying than her in the underground rings. She wasn't about to take this fight lightly however; even if her opponent didn't seem nearly as tough as her, it didn't mean that Hitomi was going to go easy. After all, she was "the Merciless" not without reason.

Hitomi seemed quite bright as well as she walked out onto the ramp. Her music played around her from the speakers as she walked out, waving to the crowd. The crowd cheered her on, though they seemed to be reserved. After all, Hitomi was capable of some pretty nasty things in the ring, but outside it she was completely different. She was kind and helpful, nothing like the win at all costs fighter she was in the ring. Hitomi slipped under the bottom ropes and relaxed in her corner. She kept a wary eye on Lorelei however, since she didn't know how the girl really was. Maybe the innocent exterior was simply a mask for some brutal beast within.

Lorelei looked down at her opponent with blank eyes. Those eyes were well known for producing whoever looked into them a strange feeling which couldnt be descripted. The girl unfolded her arms and jumped off the turnbuckle and onto the mat, getting herself ready to begin. Hitomi's lack of clothes didnt seem to affect the girl enough to even make her blush. She wasnt interested in building up any bond with anybody.

"So you are Hitomi.." Lorelei muttered out, crossing her arms again against her breasts. She didnt really expect an answer from her opponent, but a growl, or even a spit, considering how merciless she was in the ring.

Hitomi saw her opponent's eyes, feeling a shiver down her spine. She seemed blank, completely soulless. Hitomi's skin prickled, and she couldn't help but feel apprehension. But that feeling quickly passed, as Hitomi's blood began pumping and adrenaline began coursing through her body. She was quickly getting pumped up, ready to fight before the fight even started.

"Ah, that's me!" Hitomi said. She smiled then, making her face look disarmingly pleasant.

Lorelei decided to give Hitomi a little tip, so she would have more chances of surviving the match. "....Dont lower your guard." The mysterious girl said with a rather cold and unexpressive tune of voice as she took a step forward. "It could lead you to your defeat." Lorelei added, moving her hands to her head and starting to play with a lock of her hair. She really doubted her opponent would put much of a fight against her skills, but she couldnt be careless.

"You should be more worried about yourself," Hitomi responded. Lorelei probably thought she was easy, if she was giving her tips. This made Hitomi realize that despite her not very intimidating looks, Lorelei was either a very strong opponent or she thought she was very strong. Hitomi was certainly on guard now.

The bell rang with a ding, signaling the start of the match. Hitomi didn't attack, rather slowly shuffling out with her hands up, defending herself. "The first move is key," she thought, "So I can't make it."

Lorelei lifted her arms in front of her chest and put a foot in front of the other, getting ready for the match. The bell rang, signalling the beggining of the fight. The girl carefully advanced towards her opponent, not wanting to let her opponent catch her off guard. If Hitomi didnt react once Lorelei was a little close of her, the mysterious girl'd charge towards her at full speed (really fast) and attempt to punch her straight in the stomach.

Hitomi was carefully watching Lorelei's every move, Her fists tightened as she waited for Lorelei to attack. The girl got close slowly, but then suddenly charged with great speed at her. Hitomi smiled. Now the fun was going to begin! Instead of trying to block Lorelei's punch, Hitomi threw one of her own, a powerful straight punch right at Lorelei's forehead. If this girl wanted to brawl, Hitomi would brawl. She came from the underground rings, where such fights were common, and she was very good at it.

Lorelei's punch succesfully connected with Hitomi's stomach, but that meant that her opponent's blow also connected with her forehead as well. The mysterious girl took the blow at full force and flipped back, landing onto her feet again. "Seems like you are not so bad after all... Perfect." Lorelei smirked and quickly regained her stance, waiting for her opponent to make the next move.

"Ack!" Hitomi said when her stomach got punched. Lorelei hit hard, harder than Hitomi thought she would hit. But her punch connected with Lorelei's head, probably doing more damage. The girl flipped backwards to recover, but Hitomi was following up with more attacks. Right as Lorelei regains her stance, Hitomi would rush in and duck low, throwing a punch to Lorelei's stomach.
