TNA vs WWE
So anyone have any thoguhts on Hogan coming to TNA and of his attempt to have the company go head to head with WWE. I myself have started to like TNA over WWE.
I am surprised Bret Hart is being the guest announcer though next RAW. I would have thought he hated Vince more than Hogan, Angle or Foeley did and go to TNA himself.

Re: TNA vs WWE
I feel that Hulk is to old and stiff to wrestle anymore, He'll jump in the ring and fight a guy for about 30 seconds punching him over and over until giving him a Big Boot.... Very Slowly.... (Wrestlemania 21) which kills the crowds hype as he jumps into the ring.
Will he get TNA to go head to head with WWE? Maybe, alot of fans are angry with WWE's deteriating quality. While the more Wrestling focused TNA is delivering more.
I think there is more to the Bret Hart-McMahon relationship than ppl think, maybe bret knowns he's gone down in history for the montreal screwjob, maybe he knows that he should have acctually lost the title instead of trying to keep it. I dunno. Vince is a very crude business man, but none the less a professional, while Hogan is known to start shit.
I dunno... thats what i think.... Hey a cookie! *OMM NOM NOM NOM*

Re: TNA vs WWE
WWE isn't failing that hard. They got that new wrestler with the Scottish accent. I forgot his name but god, he's soooo sexy.
Edit:
Okay, I just googled the WWE roster. It's Drew McIntyre. Jesus, what an accent. He's sooo cute. Especially when he gets angry and he throws his little hissy fits. Then, you could see his eyebrows curl up and his accent becomes more pronounced.
Aaah...
*fans herself*
Mike Knox on the other hand....eh. " title="Neutral" />
Now look what you guys made me do. I contributed nothing to the topic except my love for Drew McIntyre. Shame on me. " title="Embarrassed" />

Re: TNA vs WWE
Hehe it's all right there ^^
As for my stance on this, while I must say I like TNA's style better for a few reasons:
-Quality of Wrestling
-A decent women's roster
-More extreme-style matches
and a number of other reasons, there is just the voice in the back of my head saying that because WWE is WWE...this will most likely end the same way the last Monday Night Wars ended, with WWE on top. After all, the biggest problem is that too many people are afraid of change, so if they've watched WWE for 10 years or so, and only been watching TNA for 4 or 5 years, then there would probably a more likely chance for them to watch WWE come Monday nights than TNA.
Yeah...I pretty much just rambled there..^^'

(cookie?.....there better be more for me " title="Very Happy" /> )
I've lost a lot of respect for the WWE for how Vince lies to the fans and pretends some things did or didn't happen. Anyone with an at least half a functional brain knows that Moolah did not hold the women's title for as long as they clame she did. Other examples I won't mention right now but are kind of the same, that whole employee vs independant contractor debate, holding the true talented back.
"Do you people want to see Stevie Richards as your world heavyweight champion?"
That would be a nice change, I might actually buy or convince a friend to buy a ppv for me to see him headline.
Even though stuff like this has been going on for many years, I've been slowly losing interest ever since the 'F' was dropped.
When NWATNA came on the scene (and a buddy had one of those 'illegal american dishes, couldn't get it in Canada any other way for a couple years) it was a good breath of fresh air, new faces could come in and get over even if their stays were short, props for them using Derek Wylde. X-Division was something special, and it still is (though there was a breif period was it was crappy and made the last few days of the wwe cruiserweight title look good in comarison). Surprised seeing guys like Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Chrisopher Daniels in the WWF before TNA was even around, mostly on their 'B Shows' but even there they could loss a match but still look good, why I used to tape those shows late at night while I slept, I know I could see a few good fights, a raw recap, and some 900 number girls dancing in between, wait, NWATNA did something like that too if I recall.
Then they broke away from the NWA, not a bad thing but they were hogging the NWA belts (and IWGP tag belts as well to a certain extent).
I'm still trying to get use to the idea of a 6 sided ring, it's different but it doesn't feel like anything special to me. They got the talent and a good chunk of the time they can do their thing, but something both WWE and TNA are guilty of is for a good chunk of the time being predictable. I'll admit Shemus winning the Raw World Title was a surprise and that he still has it is, it's a matter of how long it'll last.
Another reason why I don't go out of my way to watch 'the e' is that Vince likes to control the fans emotions. Last show I went to a few years ago some fans had signs removed (that from what I saw were clean and not disrespectiful) while anyone under the age of 9 could have what ever they want long as it mentioned triple h or cena, and trip's wasn't on the card, I'm not joking.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibkrPHA841g
A perfect reason why Vince won't hold events in a certain venue in new york again(the first few you'd get anywhere) but the last few on that video was a big and final nail in the coffin.
Even though I'm making TNA seem like the lesser of two evils, I'm still going to watch Raw tonight for one reason and one alone, the appearence of Bret Hart, even though I do have low expectations on how it'll go.
But if I had a choice, I'd rather pay 60 bucks to take a bus somewhere 4 hours away, pay 15-20 bucks to see an indy show with maybe 1 or no 'big named talent' than get a free all expenses paid trip to Wrestlemania. I know the action will be better, but that's just me.

XDXDXD Oh my god, I had forgetten about those chants, Between those chants and the fans singing in perfect unision to "Enter Sandman" at the first One Night Stand, you realize just how loyal they are.

As for the current debate, TNA really does feature the better womens division, and the X division is great and some of there gimmick matches are pretty cool, but they have the same problem WWE has in that they tend to push the same people over and over and over again until were all sick of it. Of course, I have to give credit where its due though, giving AJ a meaningful title reign is great, lets just hope it lasts a while longer, instead of Hogan just taking off him to help his cronies out. WWE needs props too, what with Sheamus beating Cena and all, Hope the rumors are true though, and he keeps it up till Wrestlemania. Another big problem is while we all know Vince doesnt like tag teams, TNA's tag division has suffered alot lately, I mean, you have World Elite, 3D, Beer Money, Lethal Consequences, and Machine Guns. Thats it.......I remember back in like, 2005-2006, You had Americas Most Wanted, XXX, Diamonds in the Rough,The Naturals, LAX, Apollo and Siaki, Team Canada, Jarretts Army, 3 Live Kru, and thats just the offcial stables, there was also the randomly made tag teams that while not offical stables, some not even lasting very long, still existed, such as Chris Sabin and Sonjay Dutt, Raven and Sabu, Ron Killings and Lance Hoyt, AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels, Hell, even Alex Shelly and Austin Starr were a tag team for a while. Now its narrowed down to 5 teams........kind of a shame
As for me.....Ill be watching both WWE and TNA tonight, thanks to a neighbor that gets Raw later then I do. I wish TNA best of luck with Hulk Hogan, but they should be wise to remember one important thing, Just because WCW Died 9 Years ago, doesnt mean Hogan isnt still the exact same. Plus now hes low on cash, thanks to the divorce, and will grab up all the cash and power he can get his hands on, no matter what the cost is. Expect Kevin Nash to hold a few more titles now.

Re: TNA vs WWE
I stopped watching most wrestling altogether when Chris Benoit died. Japanese and Mexican Promotions are unaffected however, And I just dislike TNA for some odd reason, Yea I'll watch it. But They often give ppl the illusion that they are out to DESTROY WWE. Which in my opinion MUST not happen.
That would be like the NFL being erased and the new generation of fans never knowing what happend in the past.

Serious? Wow that vid cracked me up.

I saw some rowdy fans on TV but I never knew it got that serious at one point. New York people don't play.

LOLOL!
Yeah, the crowd was so funny. It sucks because I've never been to a live wrestling event before. " title="Sad" />
You'd see me chanting whatever bullshit the crowd is saying just for fun!
