Bethany Maroza vs Kazuma Satou - A lucky performance!

Bethany was never one to take joy in delivering pain, but even she had to admit that strike was fantastic. To make up for her earlier stumble at the start of the match Bethany would deliver a strong and explosive kick that was heard with a loud clap across the arena, followed by a loud cheer at how well done the circus girl had done there. Her background in acrobatics helped her in this exchange in addition to the earlier evade.

Ms Maroza hit the ground with a heavy thud but a smirk was on her face as she noticed how Kazuma had crumpled hard to the mat no doubt wondering what just hit him. The circus girl was pleased in how she entertained the crowd, but that was just the start in her mind. Bethany knew that the start of the match would mean the guy wasn't going to stay down for long. She'd have to try and milk this for all it was worth if she even could, regardless the circus girl would certainly make an attempt!

She decided upon a move that was fairly disorienting but also likely to amuse the crowd, Bethany quickly crouched down in front of Kazuma and lifted his head up to make eye contact with her. Before suddenly putting out her hands and then trying to deliver a hard slap to both of his ears to disorient him in a slapstick manner!

It felt like the world had slowed down as they both fell down and it would take a few moments for Kazuma to process just what had happened to him. Bethany's Enzuigiri was far stronger than he thought it was going to be. Apparently there was more to this Circus babe than just a few acrobatics, tricks, and a pretty face.

He felt her walk around to his head and kneel down in front of him. Bethany then reached down and made Kazuma look up at her, a bit of a smile on her doll-like face. Kazuma had to blush at the small smile but quickly snapped out of it when all of a sudden she brought her hands down on his ears in an attempt to disorientate him, much like one of those windup monkeys that had symbols on their hands. Kazuma felt his ears ring from the sudden slaps but he could hear the crowd begin to laugh and applaud at the somewhat comical attack.

If it happened to someone else Kazuma would probably be laughing and applauding her too, but given that it was him on the receiving end he couldn't just lay there and take it. He just needed to be patient, if she turned around he'd stand up, wrap his arms around her waist, and if she was as light as she seemed then he should be able to hit a German suplex with no issue.

Bethany was no stranger to performing a little act here and there to further get the audience into the show, a sort of nice change of pace in the mind of the circus girl. Something to help make sure they didn't lulled into a state of not paying attention and just going along with it, the crowd likely expected some proper wrestling moves. Bethany was confident in her ability to deliver on that, after all Kazuma was reasonable to lift she reasoned. So long as it was flashy at least. Still Bethany was gonna have a bit of fun here by slapping Kazuma in the ears. No doubt leaving him ringing for a little bit there, Bethany was mostly doing that for novelty and also to see if she could possibly disorient the guy.

The crowd were certainly responding strongly to all this little back and forth going on, perfect. Just as Bethany wanted, her jacket displayed the logo of her circus after all so it was a good chance to try and promote it she felt. The circus girl reasoned now was a good time to do such a thing. Bethany stood up and turned to face the crowd, flexing her back to make sure the jacket's symbol lit up by the arena lights. She never heard Kazuma get back up ironically enough.

And boy was she about to pay for it.

Bethany's eyes widened as she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist, in one fluid motion the circus girl was taken in a backwards motion and the next thing she knew her vision was upside down and she crashed on the back of her head. She let out a loud grunt and slumped in the hold of Kazuma as Bethany pondered on just what the hell hit her there!!!1

Looks like Bethany really was a psychic as she did exactly what Kazuma hoped she would. Bethany stood up and began bask in the crowd's cheering, making sure that her circus' name was seen and apparent to everyone in the crowd, even turning her back to him. Now that she was distracted Kazuma felt bad for what he was about to do but even though she was a Vet she was making one of the most rookiest of rookie mistakes due to her being away from so long. Kazuma would need to show her not to take him lightly.

Kazuma slowly stood up and quickly wrapped his arms around her thin waist, before pulling her backwards and slamming her head into the ring floor with the German Suplex he had wanted to use. It helped that Bethany was as light as she appeared thanks in part to her high flying circus career. Kazuma let go of her and stood up once more, looking at Bethany's slumped form, her legs over her head and her skirt was down revealing her black sports shorts for the crowd to see. Kazuma blushed at the sight and quickly grabbed her legs and brought them down for her.

Kazuma then decided to take advantage of her laid out form and somewhat dazed state of mind so he rushed towards the ropes, intent on hitting Bethany with a lion-sault, a sight she may have seen once or twice with actual lions in the circus. If he hit it then he'd go for a quick pin on her if he didn't she would certainly try to counterattack.

Bethany was really thinking she could have handled that better, considering how in one swift move Kazuma just slammed her hard into the mat and flipped her vision upside down. That was before she closed them to try and help numb the ringing and pain in her head at the moment, Bethany was no stranger to pain given her circus background and she landed like this many other times in the past even. Still hurt like a bitch though, perhaps it was a lack of true combat experience that led to this error in retrospect.

Regardless Kazuma was free to take advantage of this situation, Bethany kept her eyes closed a bit longer, just to keep that feeling at bay just a bit longer. But still she was able to feel that Kazuma was shuffling her about, that actually helped the circus girl be brought back to her current location in actuality. The girl opened her eyes a bit and saw the lights, but it was then followed by the fact that Kazuma was taking to the air with a lionsault!

"Crap." Bethany muttered, on instinct the circus girl took an effort to get herself ready. Relying on her circus training to help mitigate the damage Bethany would cover her body with her arms to make the landing a bit rough for Kazuma, at the very least he'd have to think twice about going for that pin attempt but still the impact was gonna hurt hard for the circus girl!

Kazuma was in the air, coming down on a seemingly defenseless Bethany. There was little else he could do aside from come down on her with his lionsault but Bethany quickly showed that she wasn't to be taken lightly as she covered her prone body with her arms. Kazuma's landing on the circus girl was a bit far from the ideal landing he was hoping to stick but at least it would succeed in knocking some the air out of her.

Kazuma initially was going to go for a quick pin attempt but after landing on her arms he had to think twice. He clutched his stomach and stood up, taking a moment to breathe as he could already tell that this match was going to a rough one on the both of them. Kazuma backed away a few steps from Bethany and looked on as she tried to recover from the Suplex, Lionsault combo he had hit her with. Once she was back on her feet he'd invite Bethany to make the next move, it was only fair to give this girl a chance to shine after having been away for so long.

Bethany was reminded of her circus training when Kazuma went for that move, it was when she had learned to tumble as well as protect herself should another performer muck up and land on her. So that she could cushion herself against the impacts, though if acts involved no safety nets then Bethany would rather not have them crash into her in all honesty. She'd seen what could happen after all, yet still in spite of that the circus girl would gladly risk limbs for the people to have enjoyment. Not to mention she was addicted to the risks and carried on out of respect for those who did fall. Bethany wouldn't say this out loud however, a magician keeps her secrets as the saying goes.

Still the covering meant that Kazuma had to back away after the hard impact, which let Bethany breathe a sigh of relief. Even if her arms still stung like a bitch it was better than getting her stomach crushed hard by a guy flipping onto it, Bethany looked at the opponent. Perhaps a bit of creativity was needed here, giving a deep breath the circus girl grunted and moved to slide herself under the bottom rope and out the ring apron.

Only for it to then seem that Bethany had somehow vanished, she didn't seem to be there! The circus girl had decided that it was best to retreat instead of mindlessly advance towards him, so Bethany escaped and sought some solace under the ring. It was time for a disappearing act!

To Kazuma's surprise, instead of trying to get back up on her feet Bethany instead chose to roll out of the ring, slipping underneath the bottom rope. That was fine with Kazuma as he'd at least be able to do a bit more recovering on his end while she recovered outside and once she got up Kazuma would hit her with a baseball slide. So Kazuma waited, and waited, and waited........and waited and yet not once did Bethany appear after she rolled outside. Kazuma stood up and walked over to the side of the ring that Bethany had rolled to and looked over the edge, only to find that Bethany had disappeared!

Kazuma stepped through the ropes and looked around, trying to find the Circus girl after having apparently disappeared. There was no way she could've slipped away into the crowd so he began to check the other sides of the ring to make sure that she hadn't crawled around to one of the sides of the ring. He walked around a bit and made sure to keep his guard up with each step, even glancing over his shoulder every now and then to make sure she didn't try to attack him from behind. Yet there was no sign of her. He slipped in and out of the ring every few moments to reset the referee's count and by the time he had walked a full lap around the ring there was still no sign of her.

"Well if she wants to get counted out via disappearance, that's fine by me." Kazuma said as he was about to roll back into the ring and let the referee make her full count only for Bethany to finally decide to make her presence known once again.

Bethany was no stranger to employing vanishing acts, having learned from a magician actually to do various slight of hand tricks to confuse people both in and out of performances. Since coming to Japan Bethany had busked and also did some more......illicit actions to put it simply, sometimes Bethany would have to vanish in the midst of her con tricks. She'd even managed to give a Yakuza tough guy the slip one time, though she lay low for quite awhile after that last interaction. Needless to say Bethany was more than willing to retreat and regroup, then take advantage of it. Plus she could have a bit of fun here.

The circus girl slipped out of the ring away from Kazuma, making a shushing gesture to the crowd not to reveal her. Which they all obliged by, Bethany would keep an eye on Kazuma and slide back into the ring when he was out of it to reset her count, the ref shot her a funny glance. But the circus girl muttered "Its legal." and she was right there at any rate, then Bethany would slip back in and out of under the ring. The crowd fighting hard to not start chuckling at all of this going, the circus girl was adding brevity to the fight and Kazuma was falling for it hook, line and sinker.

*Time to strike.* Bethany thought to herself, she'd carefully and stealthy make her way behind Kazuma. Gingerly make her way to the apron, before suddenly rushing forward along it and aiming to leap right onto Kazuma with a powerful Hurricarana from out of nowhere!

Kazuma approached the apron, intent on getting back into the ring when, from the corner of his eye he caught sight of Bethany running at him from the apron. Kazuma was shocked as he hadn't seen her at all during his look around the ring! Before Kazuma could react Bethany jumped into the air and landed on his shoulders, giving Kazuma a very up close look at the wrestling shorts she was wearing beneath her skirt. Kazuma wouldn't get to appreciate it however as Bethany then twisted her body on top of him and sent him down to the floor with a Hurricanrana!

Kazuma arched his back after he hit the ground, even falling on a somewhat padded floor still hurt. Now that he was down Bethany had a window of opportunity to attack Kazuma, one that she probably wouldn't waste given what happened a few minutes ago.
