Lilliana Reynolds Vs. Atalante Pallas

The kick of Lilliana had taken the Grecian by surprise and right now she had staggered all the way back towards the ropes, coughing out as she leaned against them for support. It seemed as if her brunette opponent wasn't going to let her recover...which was a smart move. As she took a hold of Atalante's arm and then swung her off, sending her running right towards the ropes on the opposite side of the ring.

Atalante's managed to turn around and bounce off of the ropes, running right towards Lilliana....however, things might not turn out as her tough opponent might have wanted. As for her rush back, Atalante would try and jump up and drive her feet straight into the chest of Lilliana as she aimed to catch her with a dropkick, hoping to do so before Lilliana could attempt to do whatever she had planned.

Maybe Lilliana should have gone for a quick takedown after all. By executing an Irish Whip the former soldier was making a good show after all, giving the people what they wanted, but she was also exposing herself to any comeback coming from Atalante. If she had gone for a takedown maybe she would be now in the middle of a submission move that could end the match.

Instead, as Atalante came running at her she decided she wouldn’t let Lilliana attempt any move after all. Using the momentum the ropes granted her, the Greek came back at her rival with a powerful dropkick that sent the former soldier on her butt! “Wh-ghaah!” Lilliana crashed on the mat and rolled over, trying to rub off the pain on her chest, but it was undeniable that Atalante got her for good that time.

Atalante rushed forward at full speed towards her opponent as she readied herself to receive the green-blond woman, but Atalante came prepared and ready! Leaping up and driving her feet right into the generous chest of Lilliana and taking her down onto the canvas with that dropkick! Landing on her side with her arm and side taking the brunt of her fall, Atalante would quickly roll up to her knees and look on at the downed brunette.

Nodding her head, the Grecian would go in for the attack as she would try and run towards the downed woman and try and jump up, looking to come down for a jumping stomp onto the midsection of Lillian to try and keep her drained and bereft of air, hoping to leave the Military girl coughing on the canvas.

Up to that point the exchange in moves and strikes had been very back and forth and even. Looking at how the match was developing it would be hard trying to predict which of the two wrestlers would eventually come on top since both of them looked sharp and ready for everything, if only a little bit winded up, but that was natural given the intensity of the match and the length of it.

But for the last seconds Lilliana felt way behind her rival. Since the moment Atalante turned tables on her with her powerful dropkick it was as if all her exhaustion had sank in at the same time. The former soldier wanted to eat it up and get on her feet once more to keep going, but her movements were sluggish and the Greek just took advantage of that.

Atalante didn’t want Lilliana regaining her footing soon, and that was why the woman went for a not so powerful stomp on the woman’s midriff, but one intended to make her stay down for some more time. The Greek was up to something, and Lilliana could do little to prevent it from happening.

Stomping down on Lilliana's midsection and keeping her prone on her back, Atalante would nod her head and quickly take to running off towards the ropes! Speeding along with that insane velocity of hers, after all in terms of speed Atalante had it all, acceleration coupled with insane overall running speed as she ran towards the ropes and would jump up and bounce off of the middle ropes!

Looking to soar through the air a bit and bust out some highflying techniques on Lilliana as she sought to come crashing down onto the frame of the beautiful military lady with a Lionsault, looking to crash down with her frame flat on top of Lilliana's torso! If she managed to flatten Lilliana's frame with the aptly named Lionsault from the cat-featured Huntress, Atalante would try and hook that leg of the beautiful Lilliana and go for a pin attempt!

Atalante was definitely on a roll for the last seconds, and having Lilliana in a position in which she was on the losing end of things, and being like that at that moment of the match was actually quite dangerous because exhaustion was starting to sink in and if the situation kept going she was in risk of falling into the pit and not being able to recover. A false step like that and she was done for.

Even knowing that it was so difficult to overcome the complicated situation she was in. Atalante was throwing strike after strike at her, the Greek not wanting the former soldier to regain her footing. When Lilliana saw her rival escape from her vision she should have expected the worst. The cheers from the crowd told her that Atalante was coming back, and then she crashed on her with a powerful Lionsault!

As Lilliana noticed her leg hooking under Atalante’s grip her instincts took over. No matter how exhausted she was, she wouldn’t go down easily. Escaping the pin attempt would be difficult based on her state, but she would do her best. “ONE!” She decided not to waste her strength in futile movements and wait until she could muster all her willpower.

“TWO!”

Just now.

There would me no more time nor chances to escape. That was it. With a groan of exertion Lilliana let all her frustration out as she bucked her body in a sudden move, making her last attempt to escape the pin.

Flattening Lilliana underneath her with that Lionsault, Atalante quickly pressed her weight down across that chest of the beautiful brunette as the Grecian hooked her leg for greater leverage and put the former soldier in a firm pin attempt.  The referee was a quick one as she slid in next to the two and started the pin count rather promptly.

Though even with the speed of the referee's spring to action, Lilliana's toughness shone through as she bucked up and kick out of the pin attempt right after the second count. Clicking her tongue a little, Atalante would roll off of her foe and then try and get up to her feet.

If Lilliana stayed down she'd try and pull her up to a seated position! Then run towards the ropes bouncing off of them as she would come charging towards the back of Lilliana and try and go in for a low baseball slide style dropkick right into the spine of Lilliana!

The mix of lionsault and then a pinning maneuver was a powerful combo that almost gets the best of Lilliana. The former soldier managed to break the pin just after the “two” count, avoiding what would have been a devastating but spectacular loss. For the last minutes and moves Lilliana was in the losing end of things, and she knew she needed to start mounting a comeback, but her body was starting to feel heavy as she realized how winded up she actually was. Her only hope was her rival being as drained as she was. If only she could get a couple of good moves…

Lilliana didn’t have the luxury of time to think about all that though. As the woman tried getting up, her body slowly moving as she regained a sitting position, she noticed Atalante going back at her. The Greek was definitely resolved to end things soon, and maybe that could mean that she was also exhausted and wanted to take the match in a rush. With a gasp of surprise Lilliana noticed how her rival was going at her with a dropkick to her spine, and tried her best to roll away from harm’s way.

Lilliana barely managed to avoid being hit by her rival’s dropkick. As she stood on her feet Lilliana knew that without some risks she wouldn’t get the victory so she would reinforce her resolve. As Atalante would get up the former soldier would welcome her with a kick to her groin, her aim to reposition the Greek in a way Lilliana could execute a vertical suplex on her.

Atalante was looking to lay into Lilliana with a string of strong hits and knock her down for a win before the tough as nails ex-soldier came back into the fight and laid into her! That wasn't really what happened...as she slid in for that dropkick Lilliana was able to roll out of the way! The eyes of Atalante went wide as she hit nothing!

Quickly the Grecian scrambled to rise up to her feet but as she got to a stand the boot of Lilliana smacked her in her lower midsection, nailing her in the groin and causing her to release a gruff groan. " Gruuh!" Doubling over a bit in front of the former Soldier as she took a hold of her head.

This was exactly what Atalante had wanted to avoid and now she had no way of doing so, her hands still wrapped around her midsection as Lilliana swung her up into the air and threw her down flat on her back with that nasty Vertical suplex! There was a bounce to her body as she hit the mat and Atalante released a heavy grunt of pain! "Grah!"

There was no way around it: Lilliana was just too exhausted. If the former soldier had managed to keep moving and attacking her rival was thanks to a mix of adrenaline, raw strength and pure willpower. That was what was helping her move in those times, when her body felt just too heavy to keep going.

Atalante’s challenge wasa wonderful one, her rival proving to be a worthy opponent and a force to reckon. That was the reason why even after executing a vertical suplex Lilliana didn’t go for a pin. She knew that if her rival managed to escape, resetting positions would only end up giving her rival a chance to come back. No, what the former soldier would do was make another powerful move to try and make sure that her rival wouldn’t get up after it. That was why Lilliana grabbed Atalante by the shoulders to make her stand, and then got a good grip on the woman’s body to lift her and send her once more against the ground in a powerful bodyslam. Lilliana felt weak and tired, but she still managed to muster the strength to properly execute the move. She knew the end of the match was near, and she wanted an option at the victory.
