A Star's Return: Justice Asuka vs Satou Kazuma

Kazuma drove his knee into Justice's face with the Shining Wizard, driving her down to the canvas with a loud thud. He slowly rose and took in the stunned silence of the crowd at seeing Justice take such a hard hit to her head like that. He couldn't blame them, a surprise knee to the face like that was vicious, more so with it being fueled by desperation after Justice had been in control of the match.

He took in her splayed out form and how out of it she seemed to be. He never thought a returning legend who had been away from the ring for so long to be such a tough opponent but it was that same tenacity that made her a world champion at the height of her career and Gigamax's popularity. Even weakened Justice was sure to kick out if he went for a pin, Kazuma needed to make sure she'd stay down like she had tried to do.

"A finisher for a finisher." Kazuma said as he turned to the ring corner and started to slowly climb it. Just as she hit him with the Justice Strike, he'd hit her with the how own "Rise Before The Fall". Kazuma stood at full height on the top most turnbuckle and waited. As soon as she got up he'd jump and hit him with the Tornado DDT that had gotten him through a number of his matches.

Justice knew it was only fair that her return to the rings wouldn’t be as easy as one could think. Yes, the woman had been in between the best of the best, but now she was older and her body wasn’t the same. Her best years were behind her and returning to her prime would be almost impossible. Even so, she would do her best in order to keep going with her wrestling career and writing her story and her legend.

There was something surprising her though. Maybe at first it wasn’t that impressive, but for the last minutes Kazuma was showing some real determination and resolve. When the match was younger maybe the man was feeling a little bit appalled, and the Bronco Buster episode wasn’t the most inspirational thing coming from him, but now it was as if Kazuma was a different person. He looked much more focused in what he was doing, and even if he had to work in his style he had the talent to get far on the business.

When Justice noticed she couldn’t see what Kazuma was doing her instincts made her stand on guard. The man was planning something, but what? Not even in the worse of her thoughts could have expected Kazuma to be waiting for her from the turnbuckle. As she stood up and faced him, Kazuma went at her with his finisher, a powerful Tornado DDT that got her flat on the mat!

The moment Justice turned towards him and caught sight of him, Kazuma jumped from the top turnbuckle and grabbed her head, using the momentum to force her to turn around as he drove her head straight into the mat with the Tornado DDT that got him so many victories and some championship gold back in the Indie circuits. Ordinarily he'd try and force her to spin a couple of more times but with the way this match had taken it's toll on him, he'd gladly take the one. Kazuma willed his body up to a seated position before looking down on Asuka's sprawled out form, laying on her stomach.

She was weak, she was dazed, this was probably going to be his best shot at winning the match. With that thought in mind he forced Justice onto her back, pausing a moment to gaze at her sweat covered body as she heaved for air. Once again in another context the idea of Justice being on her back in such a state would probably be an erotic dream come true but Kazuma pushed that idea to the back of his head. He hooked her leg, slayed his body across her's and watched as the referee began the count. A small blush began to form on Kazuma's face as Asuka's breasts rubbed against him with each breathe she took, hopefully this count would go by fast.

Sanae wasn’t even sure about how things had gone that awry in that small amount of time. One thing was for sure: even if she was in a better state than what she expected, the veteran was also very far from her primer, her golden days too far in time and her body not responding as she was used to. Even so, she had managed to get a good performance up to that point: her rival proved to be more proficient than he looked, a diamond in the rough. He still had to refine a lot of his style, but there was talent in there.

When Kazuma managed to execute a tornado ddt on her, it was lights out for Justice. The woman sprayed on the mat as only her faint breathing gave testimony of the woman still being conscious. Sanae’s head was feeling funny and moving hurt like hell. Kazuma noticed all this and draped his body on top of Justice’s to try and get the win, and he would have got it if her rival hadn’t been Justice Asuka. Another rival would have been out cold, but not Justice, who still managed to muster some strength as the ref was about to count her out.

In a rush to regain her advantage, Sanae would quickly get on her feet and wait for her rival to regain his footing to then ambush him and send him to the mat with a powerful stunner!

Kazuma was mentally exhausted. First was the shock of fighting a returning champion, then there was the excitement of going blow for blow with her, there was the "arousing" exchange between the two of them, and finally they've been hitting each other with their best moves. When the referee began to count he couldn't have been happier as it meant at this rollercoaster of emotions would soon end.

One went by as it always did and two followed soon after but then Justice reminded him why she was a world champion. Just as the ref was about to count three Asuka shot up and broke the count. Part of him was amazed that she was able to get up after getting spiked into the ground from his tornado DDT but that also meant that this watch was still far from over. Kazuma removed himself and watched as Justice got back to her feet and slowly got back to his own feet too but to his surprise, as soon as he did Justice kicked him in his stomach grabbed his head and hit Kazuma with a stunner!

Kazuma's body bounced from the sudden recoil of having his body having been pulled down so suddenly before coming down on the ground once again. Just like the name of the move implied, Kazuma was now stunned and seeing stars while Justice was now on her feet, as unsteady as she appeared. Kazuma was tired, he reluctantly wanted to end this match and probably only had enough energy in him for one last shot. Hopefully this shot would be enough to ground Justice for good, if Justice would even give him the chance for it that is.

Justice’s return to wrestling wasn’t going to be an easy one, and that match had proved it so far. The veteran’s prime days were gone. She had put up some pounds and her overall movements and reactions were slower than before, her pain tolerance was also lower, now she was winded up after holds that would have posed no threat for her before. But things were like that now, she had to get used to it, learn from her new traits and quirks and start using them to her advantage. Even in her weakened, rusty state there was hope. She was feeling the thrill of combat once more, and as long as she would do that she was happy.

Kazuma, her rival for that night, the one who would be the first one to have a taste of the veteran Justice Asuka’s skills as she went back to wrestling, had proven to be quite proficient and a bother at certain points. The man could be described as a diamond in the rough, he had some skills and moves that were really good, but his mind wasn’t completely focused into that. Justice knew that man could get far with some training and getting his ideas clear, and she wanted to acknowledge that to him.

“Come on, stand up!”, Justice said as she dragged Kazuma back on his feet. “You know, you had me in here for some time. You are good, but that Bronco Buster move won’t get you far, not at least in the sportsmanship way. I already regret taking my revenge from that and I apologize, but now we are going to end this in an honorable way.”

As she said those words, Justice got closer to Kazuma. He looked dazed and the veteran knew one hit would send him down, but she was also completely exhausted from the exertion to execute a complicated move. Instead, she would launch her leg upwards to make a powerful axe kick at him.

Everything was a bit blurry for Kazuma after Justice's surprise Stunner and unfortunately it did exactly what it was supposed to do; stunning him long enough for Justice to get back on her feet. Kazuma noted how tired she looked and how, much like he was trying to do, she was looking for the "kill shot" that would end this match. Kazuma had to admit that this match would definitely be one of his most memorable regardless of how it played out, and it was only his second AFW match.

Then Justice pulled him back up to his feet, apparently ready to end this match but not without giving Kazuma some props as well as berating him a little for the Bronco Buster minutes ago. Then she took a few steps back and began to raise her leg, intent on hitting Kazuma with an axe kick that may or may not put his lights out for the remainder of the evening. Kazuma wouldn't be able to dodge it, so that meant that all he could hope for was that his final shot would be able to connect with her.

As Justice's leg came down, Kazuma raised his fist and launched a punch, aiming to take down Justice before her kick took him down. It was a desperate exchange as both limbs raced toward their intended targets that made all the fans in the arena get to their feet. Finally, after what felt like an eternity Kazuma's fist drove itself into Justice's face as her heel landed on his head. Kazuma felt all energy leave his body as he fell and everything began to become a nearly indistinguishable blur to him. When Kazuma finally landed he noted that Justice also appeared to be down to him. The only distinguishable sound that he could make out was the sound of the referee's voice as she began to count.

"ONE!"

That was it. Justice had her rival just where she wanted him. Kazuma had shown some talent and also resorted to some tactics the veteran didn’t approve, but in the end no matter that he had shown some talent, Asuka needed to take care of him in order to get the victory, and that was exactly what she intended to do. After the stunner, Kazuma looked ready to go down for the count, so Asuka got ready to deal the final blow in the form of a powerful axe kick.

If only it had been that easy.

It looked like something inside Kazuma still pushed him to fight, no matter how spent he looked. Just instants before Justice’s heel would seal his fate, the man managed to get a hold on himself and throw a nasty punch that impacted on Sanae’s face. That didn’t stop the final kick from hitting, but it drastically changed the outcome of the move as both contestants went down on the mat!

“TWO!”

Every sound was muffled and Justice’s vision was blurry. She was just too exhausted, her body feeling so heavy as her physical state was far from her prime. She had given a good show, but no matter how hard she wanted to get up she just couldn’t. Asuka clenched her teeth as she noticed the ref going for a count. If she just managed to regain her footing while her rival didn’t she would still win, but for now it was impossible for her. There was still time, so Asuka focused on breathing deep and trying to recover some of her energy.

“THREE!”

"FOUR!" Kazuma's world was nothing but indistinguishable shapes, light, and sound as he processed what was going on. The pain he felt on the top of his he'd being the only clear sensation he felt as he instinctually tried to roll away thanks to his former Hikikomori cowardice temporarily taking the driver's seat.

"FIVE!" The Ref's count continued to increase as Kazuma was still trying to get a hold of his senses. As he did he occasionally saw one of the figures in the ring, Justice if his memory was still working right, was still down but occasionally moved, Kazuma assumed that she too was more than likely acting on instinct after taking that punch he had hit her with. If Kazuma's mind wasn't so cloudy he'd probably be shuttering at the thought of what would've happened if he was a second later with it, or if she had dodged it.

"SIX!" The count was starting to get too dangerously high for Kazuma's sake so his conscious, or at least what was left of it at the moment began to try and will his body with whatever energy, if any at all still existed, was left in his body to get to his feet before it ended.

The referee’s words sounded like she was so far away, distant and as if they weren’t addressed at herself, but in a strange way they also were a grim reminder of how close Justice was to lose the match. She wanted to get up so badly, to make an end to the count and retake the match, but her body felt too heavy and sore. Sanae was so far of her prime yet. The former champion wasn’t a stranger to defeat because that was something that would befall even on the best, but the feeling of weakness she was experiencing was so frustrating.

“SEVEN!”

There was only a silver lining to Justice’s current predicament. Kazuma’s inaction in all that time could only mean that he was down as well. That fueled the veteran’s resolve. Clenching against the mat, Justice made a terrific effort to get herself on all fours and she managed to do it. The crowd rewarded that display of willpower by cheering her like crazy. She was halfway there, now Sanae only needed to get back on her feet and secure the win since it looked like Kazuma wasn’t getting up.

“EIGHT!”

Just a little bit more, if Asuka managed to get one of her feet on the ground, it would be easy to get back on her feet. With a groan of exertion she tried to get it done… It wasn’t going to happen. Her body suppoprt and her balance failed her in the most crucial moment and Justice fell on one of her sides in between groans of frustration and pain. After rolling on her back, the veteran punched the mat in frustration, angered at her own weakness as she breathed heavily and closed her eyes to block everything. She was done for, and the best result she would get from her return would be a draw if Kazuma didn’t manage to get up in time.
